A very simple, fairly silly story. There isn't much much plot. The martians collect scents. That's it'. No conflict. NO complications. No stakes. It's mildly entertaining. The strength is in encouraging independent reading.

This was a fun book to read. We see these one of a kind martians coming to Earth for a school project. They are searching for stinky smells which leads them to an Amusement Park. Here they find plenty of smells to take back to their home planet. Once this story comes to a close, these martians feel like they learned a good lesson. Most kids will have a great time reading this book.

I received an electronic ARC from Random House Children's Publishing through NetGalley.
Brightly colored artwork takes readers to Mars to meet the Marshmallow Martians. They want to come to Earth and explore. When one of them surprises the others with a portal, they decide to retrieve the smelliest smells on Earth. Readers will enjoy their methods and the humorous ways they get their aromas. Joy is a constant theme for these beings. Kent created a light hearted book for early to mid elementary level readers. This is a shorter graphic novel that will delight them and challenge them. Don't miss the hint for book two in the final panel.

This was a fun little graphic novel about martians visiting earth and learning about the planet through its smells. The artwork was really cute. Readers that enjoy offbeat humor and colorful illustrations will likely enjoy this early graphic novel.

This graphic novel is a great addition for the early readers who are a fan of Scaredy Squirrel and Pizza & Taco. Young readers will love the silly adventures of the marshmallows as they explore earth.

The marshmallow martians were such silly and fun characters to read about! My kids lost interest before the end of the book, but they are just a bit too young to stay hooked for more than a couple chapters at a time with graphic novels, especially without a physical book.

Our squishy little friends take us on an adventure to Earth to collect smells for their Show and Smell, and what better place to go than to an amusement park! They collected all kinds of yucky smells to take back to their home planet, Moop, and it kept us giggling as they grabbed the worst of the worst! Overall super cute little graphic novel!

Thank you NetGalley and Random House children's for our ARC in exchange for honest feedback!
