Wow, this one really pulled at the heartstrings. Beautifully written and beautifully illustrated. The story of a mama bear telling her cub how he will grow up someday.

This book would be such a great book for a gift. I found that it reminds us all even for little readers how precious our time is together. Loved reading this story with my own children.

Such a sweet, sweet story! I was definitely welling up by the end, but in the good way! This is a gentle, adorable celebration of the love between a mother and a small child. Little Cub is curious about when they will grow up, and Mommy Bear explains all the things they do (swimming, playing, climbing trees to get berries, etc.) that prepare them to be an adult, while making wonderful memories along the way. These memories will become the roots of Little Cub's happy life.

The illustrations are soft and lovely. This would be an excellent bedtime or snuggle time book to reinforce the love between moms and their kids. It's a great message of safety, care, and reassurance for a child to carry with them into sleep. It would be a great baby shower or new parent gift!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Heartwarming, beautifully illustrated story of a bear cub and his Momma. Teaching the bear cub that indeed he will be a grown up bear someday. Just not today. Enjoy the ride and sharing the growing up years with your Momma, little bear!

This was such an adorable story and living your life in the present and not wanting it to rush on by. The illustrations in this book were also amazing and the pictures were so gorgeous to look at, there was just something lovely about these illustrations that reminded me similar to the artwork of Thomas Kinkade. When I was younger, I went through a stage where I was slightly obsessed with his Christmas paintings and scenery. The other thing I loved was the fact that this was a subtle beauty as it was done in the colours of the cover. Someday, our little bear cub wants to be big just like his mum and do the things she and the other adult bears can do, as he hates being little. She talks him through that Someday will come and someday he will be an adult, but for now just to enjoy life as when you get older - you will wish you could have been a kid longer. This is a great read and something that everyone can relate to as all children I know wish they could be an adult and grow up quickly. I know I did it myself when I was a child.
Someday by Stephanie Stansbie is the perfect read for children aged 3-6 years old.

This sweet book highlights the precious moments that are spent between a parent and their little one as they share and appreciate life together.

An adorable little cub wants to be just like Mommy and Mommy Bear tenderly assures her cub that someday that will surely come to be. But for now they have many adventures to share together and memories to make before that will happen.

" Like the roots of the tree,
your memories will keep you
strong as you grow
and blossom."

The special tender bond between the two is inspiring and encouraging. The illustrations are beautiful and the colour pallet chosen is soft, warm and gentle. Little cub is taught a very valuable life lesson about enjoying every minute of today while listening attentively as Mother Bear also addresses how things will be in the future.

This book is a perfect bedtime story shared with hugs and snuggles as it is being read. I love the book and highly recommend it.

An endearing tale perfect for parents of young readers!

A tale of a Mother Bear and her young cub enjoying the autumn season. The young cub is curious and wants to know when they will be able to do all of the BIG things that their mother can do. The mother answers someday. "But first we have memories to make you and me, before you are all grown up!"

The mother shares that their time now is precious and so very important it is to build memories together. A key message to all parents to make connections with our children to help build happier and healthier futures for our young readers.

Grateful to have received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley & Tiger Tales.

What a beautiful book in both verse and pictures! This is a story about a little cub wanting to grow up and be just like their mom. She gently reminds them of all the wonderful things they will be able to do one day but to enjoy living in the moment today and making memories. What a wonderful reminder for all of us to enjoy today. Someday will come eventually, but we have but one chance at today, and the memories we make will be carried with us forever. This would be a wonderful book with to cuddle up with your children on the couch with.

Thanks to #NetGalley and Tiger Tales for an ARC of this book.

A mother bear tells her child what he/ she will do someday. An uplifting story of love connection and sharing. The hue and pallet of the paintings bring the life of a bear into focus for children. It has love of nature, the breath of sunrise, and sunset, and the remarkable natural world. The images can be inspiration for children's illustration, and technique of painting and illustration for children's books.

I thought this was such a sweet story. I loved the mama and baby connection and the conversation about growing up but not too fast. Also, I appreciated the message about how life experiences growing up shape and ground you. This would be a great gift for a new mom. The illustrations were also beautiful.

A sweet book of a mama bear teaching her cub about how all they do together is preparing the cub for someday. I thoughts the illustrations were lovely and the message very sweet.

A young bear cub expresses to their mom that they hope to be as wonderful as they are when they grow up. The Mommy bear explains that now the young cub is like a sapling, but will one day grow into a great tree.

Together they roam while she explains all the things the cub can do once their grown up. From climbing mountains and swimming deep, they have a fun filled day exploring the cub’s future possibilities. In the end though, happy and tired, the young cub decides he is perfectly happy to remain a sapling for now.

I did find the illustrations to be very vivid and beautiful to look at, and the vocabulary works well for younger readers. Not sure why exactly, but I found the wording of the dialogue to be a bit clunky at times, but overall it was a lovely read.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this title.

While this was a sweet book, it just didn't hold my granddaughter's attention. The illustrations were nice and her favorite scene was the bears swimming.

This book is absolutely adorable. Its a sweet story between a Mommy bear and her cub who wants to grow up to be just like Mommy. Mommy Bear explains to little cub that "Someday" you will grow up and do wonderful things in life but in the meantime to enjoy each moment together and make loving, lasting memories.
It's a great read for small children and one I'd definitely recommend.

I received and ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a classic tale about growing up and the love between mother and child. The illustrations follow the classic style as well, and they suit the book perfectly. There is a book that was gifted to us when our Y2K baby was born that I have continued to read to all of my following children. And I will read it to my grandchildren as well. This could be that book to someone. Something you can read to your babies when they are small and employ as a link to those little people and memories of life with them when they are all grown up.
