The aim of this book is beautiful: to get children interested in the universe as it exists both within them and around them. The illustrations are bright and engaging against a black background. And if it sparks a child’s interest, then this book is well worth the investment.
I found some of the scientific terms poorly defined for a middle grade audience though. So unless you’re dealing with a child who has a foundation in terms like electrons and protons or even the concept of orbits and planetary bodies, this may fail to land. But even if they don’t understand every sentence, they may still enjoy the tour around the universe!
I received a digital advance reader copy of this book from NetGalley and Tilbury House Publishers in exchange for an honest review.
