Britannia’s Baby Encyclopedia is a cute simple encyclopedia for the youngest of readers. It would be great for looking at with a young toddler but it is not set up in a way that would be ideal for reading it cover to cover in one setting. This little primer has lots and lots of information and is set up to look like multiple pages on each page. The bright colorful illustrations cover a wide array of topics. This could be good for reinforcing basic vocabulary to new talkers. I appreciated the diversity represented in illustrations. Overall I found this to be a fun little book that would make a great baby shower gift.

Thanks to Netgalley and Britannica Books, What on Earth for a free digital copy.

Full of color and vibrant illustrations, this baby encyclopedia runs the gamut of words that are relevant to a baby's life plus more that will be useful. Split into sections on our world, animals, plants, body, food, machines, art & music, and shapes & numbers, this book is jam packed with more than just nouns to help children expand their vocabulary.

Thanks to NetGalley, my kids and I had the opportunity to read Britannica's Baby Encyclopedia For curious kids ages 0 to 3 by Sally Symes; Britannica Group
This book is just—WOW! I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
The cover is vibrant and fun, but the inside is where it’s at!
The inside of the book is so well organized and full of information that’s easy for a toddler to digest. It’s broken out into 8 categories spanning everything from animals, plants, body, food, machines, art/music, etc. and each section features the most beautiful illustrations and diagrams. There are even little sound effects scattered throughout, which made the reading experience super engaging. (I usually end up making my own as we read along :) ) (I usually end up making my own as we read along  )
We really enjoyed spending our Saturday morning going through each section exploring new words and places. One thing that I appreciated was the diverse range of people/children featured throughout this book.
Overall, I’d say this book grabbed our attention and kept it – we honestly couldn’t put it down. We’ll be adding this one to our collection for sure!
Mom – 5 Stars
Twins – 5 Stars
