Marquess William Hayden never backs down from a wager no matter how drunk he is.

Our hero didn't know what he needed until he found it.

Madeline is the bastard daughter of the Mad Earl. It would be impossible for anyone to have a more wicked stepmother.

Our heroine has suffered terribly and has more than a few surprises coming.

An emotional and steamy historical romance full of great characters and humour. It is part of a series but each book can be read on it's own.

Great fun.

Bella Moxie has a gift for truly charming, over-the-top love. Sweet with heat, would be the most apt description for this story. A Rapunzel retelling with all the spice and flair you’d expect from Moxie. The story has plenty of angst and anguish, as a girl who has been basically imprisoned & sheltered her entire life has to find her way amidst society. Through the love of one man, she truly comes into her own by the end. Showing herself to be woman of great strength, kindness and unbelievable love. A fast-paced story that makes for a quick and enjoyable read.

Rowdy marquess rescues the illegitimate daughter of an earl who is being kept in a tower and being auctioned off. Being caught in her room, he decides to marry her. It's a pretty short and sweet read here and moved pretty quickly as our marquess teaches his new wife about pleasure.

Thank you Dragonblade Publishing and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

OH MY GOD WHERE CAN I GET A HAYDEN FOR MYSELF? The hero was Perfect with capital P. From the beginning til the end, he was /the/ ultimate hero of all heroes. The story progressed nicely that I couldn't put it away and I just love the relationships and friendships in this book.

The beginning was perfect, the middle also perfect, and that ending... YES! The evil countess deserved what she got and we could thank Hayden and Co. for making that possible.

HAVE I MENTIONED I LOVE HAYDEN?! He was such a sunshine alpha guy (there were scenes with "You're mine" and all that territorial alpha stuff), which is a good combination because it wasn't cringe-y at all whenever he acted all alpha in bed.

In conclusion, I LOVE THIS BOOK! PLEASE READ IT! IT COMES OUT 30 SEPTEMBER 2022! THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The Perfect Hero

Madeline needed a hero, someone to save her from her wicked step mother’s plans to sell her for money. Her half brother normally looked out for her but he had been sent to one of their father’s estates.

After what her step mother had just put her through, she needed to find a way to escape when in through her window, the Marquess of Hayden appears still half drunk. All his friends had found the love of their lives and he was the last one still unmarried. As soon as he set eyes on Madeline he knew she was exquisite and to protect her, said they would marry.

Madeline was pure and innocent of the world and a little shy but the passion and scorching steam in the bedroom plus meeting Hayden’s friends helped her to grow into her new life but there was still something she held back from him which he found frustrating. Hayden didn’t trust very easily and hated liars but he was falling in love with Madeline and wanted to protect her from harm.

When lies tried to pull them apart Madeline had to be honest with Hayden no matter what the cost and Hayden loved her and trusted her enough not to believe what was said.

This is the first title I have read from this author and I really like her style of writing. The story was a page turner and kept me interested all the way through with some humour, lovely characters, steamy moments with a HEA.

I voluntarily read and reviewed and ARC and all thoughts and opinions are my own

Review left on Goodreads. Will leave on Amazon when published and Bookbub when it appears

A new author to me and this is the third in the series. Full of intriguing characters that made for an enjoyable retelling of the fairy story Rapunzel. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

She has been kept isolated and uneducated but is made of courage. He has seemed like a wastrel but was really searching for something meaningful in his life. This is about love and trust. A steamy retelling of the Rapunzel fairy tale.

I received an ARC of this book and leaving my review voluntarily.

A steamy and passionate romance. A classic damsel in distress story and a love that will last a lifetime. Hayden and Madeline have an instant attraction. Lots of steamy scenes and a worthy love story.

Learning to Trust After Finding Love:
Wow, what a terrific emotionally pack drama.
Madeline a young naive physically and emotionally abused young lady is held captive in the tower and young swashbuckling Hayden recuses her but to keep her safe they must wed now!
That should get your attention. It did mine. What happens next is nothing short of a thrilling emotional romance that takes your breath away.
Hayden sweetness and understanding was delightful.
An episode of explicit flirtatious talk was a bit over done for me, but all in all, some very well written bedroom scenes had what I call a lady's fan worthy story.
Love the entire book that had me quickly turning the pages.
Loved the intriguing characters that made up this enjoyable story.
Adult Advisory:
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy for my honest opinion.

This book, the third in Bella Moxie's Dukes Gone Dirty series, was probably my least favorite of the series. The hero is a rake and a rogue who changes as soon as he has someone he thinks he needs to take care of. The heroine is much too child-like for my preferences, especially in light of the super steamy sex scenes. And I generally enjoy steaminess, so it isn't any sort of dislike for open door love scenes. Madeline somehow comes off as weak even though she has survived a hellish life thus far. I didn't buy Hayden's easy acceptance of a marriage to a woman he met 5 minutes before committing to her. I did enjoy seeing the couples from the prior books (did I miss Vivian and Malcolm's story in some collection somewhere?) but I found the reuse of the name Albert (the first name of the villain and also the name of Madeline's brother) confusing. Perhaps a renaming can happen between my reading of this ARC and actual publication? I do think Bella Moxie is a good writer and I enjoyed the other two books in this series. I would pick up her next book, despite not loving this one all that much. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a complimentary ARC of this book. The opinions herein are entirely my own.
