I LOVED THIS.

An agoraphobic heroine and a hero with an anger problem? Characters with PTSD? HANDLING IT TOGETHER and getting therapy and moving forward with their lives and falling in love?

10/10.

Angelina Raine & Hunter Amos are both hiding from their pasts, but together the future seems a little less scary. Angelina is working on conquering her agoraphobia, then Hunter enters the picture. As hard as he works to avoid attachments, him and Angelina are inexplicably drawn to each other. Through the ups and downs, Angelina & Hunter stay the course and help each other to achieve the life that they’ve always wanted.

I really enjoyed this book, the plot moved fast and the “what ifs” kept me entertained throughout. I love the mental health representation, and how the author allowed Angelina to fight her demons on her own without the help of a man (but that it also is nice to have a friend by your side as you reach your goals.)

Thank you NetGalley, & ValentinePR for the advanced copy!

I was really interested in this when I read the blurb for this book. I have higher levels of anxiety leaving my home. While it’s not to the extent of agoraphobia, I was still very intrigued by this plot and genuinely happy to see the anxiety rep here.

Lina and Hunter both suffer from broken, damaging pasts. The vulnerability of both MCs really showed through on the pages. Lina is suffering from an anxiety disorder called Agoraphobia and has not been able to leave her house in 3+ years. Hunter is on the run with his mom. Hunter is the quintessential tatted, protective cinnamon roll hero. He truly went out of his was to help Lina overcome her fears. He was super encouraging, often putting her needs before his own. I loved how he encouraged her within her own limits and never pushed her. He was truly a sweet hero. Lina, while shy and dealing with immense anxiety, she has a little playful side with some of her banter. It was nice to see the dynamic between our two MCs and how Hunter pulled Lina out of her shell.

The story was overall very emotional and raw. Both Lina’s and Hunter’s interactions were genuine and sweet. Unfortunately, we are told a lot instead of shown in the pages of this book. There were many conversations and dialogue that felt like large info dumps. Additionally, there were several time jumps, weeks at a time, that skipped some important character growth and development in my opinion.

Tropes:
-Neighbors/friends to lovers
-Tatted, protective hero
-Cinnamon Roll MMC
-Forced Proximity
-Shy/innocent Heroine
-Anxiety Rep

Limitless is set to release November 11th and it will be available on KU!

I thought Hunter and Lina's story was emotional and poignant. I enjoyed their chemistry and how protective Hunter was of Lina. The agoraphobia angle was unique and I enjoyed that. Overall this was a good story. 4 stars!

This book was so emotional and raw and authentic. I went from crying over Hunter and Lina, to squealing when one of them said something cute or open to each other.
Lina's character was incredibly relatable and heartbreaking at the same time. I wanted to reach out and hug her and tell her that her fear wasn't weakness. It was uplifting to see her work through her phobias with the help of Hunter, who brought a whole new level to over-protective boyfriend.
Their love was tangible, even in the beginning, and I think it's rare for authors to be able to accomplish putting something fictional into words well enough for general readers to think about two characters and truly believe in their love.
"She could seriously part the thickest fog with that bright smile. What I wouldn't do to see it in person and feel the full effect of her presence." I applaud Lynn Rush for staying true to Hunter's nature and allowing his character to be consistent in regard to helping her overcome her fear, acknowledging his desire for her but still not pushing her boundaries or limits.
"You inspire me to be strong. Stronger than the sh*tty hand I was dealt. Stronger than my fear." It was inspiring as a reader as well, to see Lina come from someone who couldn't leave her house into a person who walked into the face of danger to ensure Hunter's safety.
I hope there's something more for HunterLina down the road, I think a holiday novella would suit them exceptionally well, the vibes of Limitless were cozy and warm and safe, and everything Lynn Rush wrote resonated deeply and personally, so I would recommend this book to anyone who is going through a hard time, who is scared of facing their fears, who wants a light-hearted read with darker themes regarding the backstories, or an adorable romance between a big, tattooed, over-protective man, and his angel.

This book was such an emotional roller coaster. But in the best of ways. I was in love with the character of Lina right from the beginning and I only loved her character more as the book went on. She was so much stronger than she realized and gave herself credit for. I can't imagine dealing with agoraphobia. And the fact that Lina was doing her best to overcome it just showed how strong she was. Even when she didn't always meet her goals, Lina didn't give up. She tried again and again. Going through her journey with her was an incredible thing. And I love the way Lynn Rush wrote her character. It certainly left me wanting to read more about Lina.

And then there was Hunter. Wow. Talk about a great book boyfriend! He had it all going on and didn't even realize it. He was also going through his own issues and, I won't spoil anything, but when his secrets were revealed, I was blown away. I definitely didn't see it coming. And that isn't the only twist that was within this book. There was more than enough mystery and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat. And I honestly never saw the twists and turns coming. That's how you know you're reading an exceptional book. Unexpected twists and turns keep things interesting and this one had that in spades.

The way Hunter and Lina were drawn to one another was a beautiful thing. And the progression of their relationship was so real. The depth of their characters was beyond incredible. And it was just another part of this book that kept me hooked. This is the first book by Lynn Rush I've read, but after the great experience I've had reading 'Limitless', this certainly won't be the last book I read by her. The story flowed in a natural way and it felt like it took me no time at all to read it. Plus it left me wanting to read more. I loved these characters and Lynn Rush definitely had me feeling an emotional attachment to them.

I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense novels, strong, independent females, and protective male characters who wear their hearts on their sleeves and love with everything they have.

Interesting story about a woman trying to conquer agoraphobia with the help of the new neighbor next door, who is not quite who he seems.

The bones of the story are good and worth reading. The Hero’s violent tendencies were concerning - although he had a reason for his anger, the “red haze” loss of control is not excusable. Red flag! Alert!

The plot was interesting, as I wrote above. The dialogue could use another run past the editor to make it a bit more polished.

I give this book 4 stars.

Thank you New Leaf Publishing and Netgalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Breathtaking. Perfect story and wonderful journey and characters. Both of the main characters were broken, and they found each other to heal and fill those jagged pieces.

It was quite heavy, but the story didn’t focus too much on that one heavy plot. Everything was allocated nicely, and well developed. Hunter and Angelina’s love story was so soft and sweet. Couldn’t get enough of them.

Limitless comes out 11 November 2022.

I really like the plot and the characters in this book. I found them to be very real and believable. I did feel like there were some context missing in some of the chapters. Almost like there was too much of a leap in time. Overall it was a good read that I crushed in just a couple of days.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book, provided by Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lynn's writing style always sucks me in - it's an easy flow. My latest read of Lynn's is a heartbreaking story of two shattered people who find each other exactly when they need to. Angelina has been shut up in her apartment for over 3 years, rendered agoraphobic by a tragedy in her past. Hunter and his mom move in next door, and they have their secrets, too. Hunter and Angelina's meet cute is rather unorthodox, but the more time they spend together, the closer they become.

I adored Hunter. Unfortunately, his anger issues because a huge problem, but he was so devoted to Lina. She is definitely a great character, too, and her issues ran so deep. But the way Hunter helped Lina... his patience, his understanding, his love. He demonstrated over and over and over how he felt about her. And it brought her out of her shell. But when Hunter's past finally catches up with him, will he and Lina be able to move forward?

Trigger warnings here include kidnapping, anxiety, panic attacks, sexual assault, physical assault, death, grief. Yeah, it's kind of heavy. The details aren't an overload, but scenes and conversations in this book include these triggers.

I just don’t think this book was for me. I found the dialogue so cringe-worthy, I couldn’t get through it. The agoraphobia angle was interesting.
