After two years working for and feeling unseen by tech billionaire Miles Hart, Lucy Gonzalez quits on what feels like a whim. Her new life plan? Previously structured and buttoned up Lucy plans to take a cross-country trip in her grandmother’s old Airstream and to post her adventures to Instagram as a travel influencer.

When Miles realizes things fall apart without her around him, he decides to join her on that trip and to use it as an opportunity to convince her to come back to work for him, but as time passes, he begins to see Lucy in a new light.

Full of roadside attractions, Route 66 Americana, forced proximity goodness, and what is supposed to be no strings steam (although we know how that goes for romantic leads), Miles and Miles of You is a fun romantic trip. And while there is some emotional backstory, the author also includes plenty of lightness to balance it out.

Take a trip across America with Lucy and Miles; you’ll enjoy the ride.

This book was so adorable. I instantly fell in love with Lucy and her ambitions, her wit and her crazy grandma. Miles was the typical grumpy to her sunshine trope, but it worked so well. He was clueless as all men can be in these types of books, but by the end I loved how he became more honest, vulnerable and romantic. I was so invested in their road trip and Lucy's success as an influencer and I laughed out loud many times while reading. I highly recommend this one!

I absolutely adored this book. Lucy was a fantastic character. Loved her guts. This book had it all humor, heart, great characters and a fun, interesting storyline. It held me from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed the road trip. The author did a great job with this. I really needed this light hearted read right now. I highly recommend this book. Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

Whew, there was a lot to love about Miles and Miles of You: a road trip (that hit up some places I'm all too familiar with), some very close proximity, mutual unrequited pining, a (former) boss/employee relationship, and a woman who up and quits her unfulfilling day job and makes her dreams of becoming a success influencer come true. Basically, Lucy is living my dream life...

I loved Lucy, and I think she's the type of character that a lot of people can relate to. Even if quitting your job on a whim to start over as a travel influencer isn't in most of our futures, Lucy's urge to still play it safe and not be spontaneous is an all-too-familiar feeling for a lot of people. I saw a lot of myself in Lucy's character, and I know I won't be the only one.

Miles is a lovable, clueless man. I thoroughly loved that one of Lucy's big sticking points with Miles was the fact that - while she spent the last two years pining for him - he barely knew any details about her and never felt the need to pay attention to those details during all the time they worked together. I know he was her boss, and likely would have been out of line had he sought out those details, but this man can barely function at work without Lucy and it was quite adorable to see him realize just how much he didn't know about his own assistant.

Since this story was mostly set on the road, we didn't get many secondary characters who left lasting impressions, but the ones we did get - namely Miles' brothers - definitely made an impression. I was so glad to see that this book was labelled as book one in The Harts series because now I can't wait for both brothers to get their own HEA.

Lucy and Miles' trip on Route 66 was one of growth: of discovering who they truly wanted to be, of learning who the other person was, and, of course, of social media followings. I grew up not too far from several of the landmarks they hit at the beginning of their Route 66 journey, and I loved that Bonds didn't just stick to the big attractions along the route. Has anyone ever made Odell, Illinois a location in a romance before? I feel like that is a first, and it made the whole journey feel that much more real and relatable.

I was immediately pulled into the story by Bonds' writing, her characters, and the vivid descriptions of Miles and Lucy's journey. This book will make you want to drop everything and believe in your dreams.

Lucy has been giving everything she has both to her job and her boss however she doesn’t believe that it is being reciprocated. Feeling undervalued and overlooked by your boss is difficult enough but it becomes even more difficult when you have personal feelings for him you have kept hidden as well. Enough is enough and it is time to take matters into her own hands which means leaving him and her job behind to pursue her own vision for the future.

Miles soon realizes what he has lost when it comes to Lucy and will do anything to convince her to return. When conventional methods don’t work he suggests an arrangement where he will travel with her for two weeks while she works on her travel blog and if he backs out first he will compensate her financially and if she backs out then she will return to her job. Let the games begin!

I enjoyed seeing the relationship between them unfold outside of the confines of the office as they take us on a fun journey filled with antics and romance which has them taking a deep look at their relationship and what they mean to each other.

I love that this book is different than the typical boss/employee trope. The banter between Lucy & Miles was so good! The tension & build up were amazing. I really felt connected to both characters and also loved Celeste and Gizmo! I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a good slow burn!

When a woman finally acts on her wants and uses her actions to declare F*CK YOU, I love her. This is just what the FC in this book did. Lucy chooses to quit her job and become a travel influencer after being tired of being who she isn't. She really gave me Vanessa vibes from The Wall of Winnipeg and Me.

Her boss Miles is in a mess after Lucy quits, so he decides to go on the roadtrip with Lucy and they have a deal. If within these 2 weeks she becomes a Travel Influencer she won't be coming to work for him and if the opposite happens she woumd have to come work for him.

I really enjoyed this forced-proximity, roadtrip romance novel. It has steamy, funny, and witty. I loved at times when they both just couldn't control their attraction towards one another. He was getting jealous of a freaking rabbit... 😆. I loved how their chemistry was in the whole book. When they decide to be physically involved till the end of their trip but as we all know things start getting raw and real for both of them. Miles who has had a bad childhood does not want to be linked with love or be in love rejects Lucy as things start getting real. But, in the end he comes to his senses and we get our HEA. I also, really loved Lucy's grandma. She was just so supportive nad free-spirited I adored her. I quite enjoyed the book but the ending was a bit bland for me. Also, the fact that he fell for her within 2 weeks was not doing it for me, but it was light and adorable read for me.

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for providing me with this eARC in return of an honest review.

I had fun with this book! I didn’t go into this book with many expectations since this is the first time that I have read this author’s work. I do love a road trip book and I was pleasantly surprised that they made at least one stop not too far from my neck of the woods. I found myself flying through the pages once I started reading this book and couldn’t wait to see Miles and Lucy find their happily ever after together.

Feeling underappreciated and frustrated, Lucy quits her job and decides to try her luck becoming a travel influencer. Her boss MIles, who Lucy happens to be in love with, is lost without her so he decides to tag along on her two-week trip to convince her to come back to the office. Lucy’s plans are to travel Route 66 from Chicago to California stopping at all of the sites along the way. Her goals of getting noticed online come to fruition only after she posts photos of her travel companion minus his shirt. Lucy and Miles end up learning a lot about each other while the sparks fly during their road trip.

I liked Miles and Lucy together. I loved the way Miles finally got to know the real Lucy, which happened to be very different than the reserved woman he thought he knew from the office. Watching them open up to each other and eventually give in to chemistry was great. I really liked the fact that Miles really did want to see Lucy happy as he realized the job he thought she was perfect in may not have left her fulfilled. I had a great time watching them try to figure things out.

I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this book was very well done and loved the fact that it was told from both Miles’s and Lucy’s points of view. There was even enough humor worked into the story to keep things very entertaining. I hope to get my hands on the next book in this fun romantic series.

I received a digital review copy of this book from Entangled: Amara.

I found this story engaging from the get-go. The internal dialogue was funny and had me LOL for most of the chapters. Lucy and Miles are characters that you like from the start, their journey has a few bumpy roads but a journey with many beautiful views and stops along the way.

Lucy is tired of feeling unappreciated and gives notice at her job. Miles cannot figure out how he’s going to function without Lucy and decides that since Lucy is going on a cross-country trip, he’s going to accompany her and will use that time to convince her to come back. These two embark on their trip and along the way, mishaps, fun, and a few sparks take place.

This book was so different from what I was expecting! I could not put it down. First, Lucy was so brave and fearless. She was ready for her adventure and just went for it. Second, I would let Miles go on any trip with me anywhere. Every interaction between these two was worth reading this book. I know he was hoping this would fail so loose he would come back, but I know Miles was also hoping Lucy would succeed. He was there for her and Lucy was there for him.

This is the perfect summer romance or a great book if you want to take a trip without going anywhere!

Never cross a girl with a dream.

Lucy Gonzalez may not have it all planned out, but she knows she has to leave her job. She may like looking at her boss, but the pay ain’t cutting it. She could spout crazy facts and he still wouldn't listen, Lucy wants to be needed and respected. Being raised by a set of strict parents with high expectations taught Lucy to be professional and meet others' expectations, now she is ready to live a bit more like her hippie grandparents and put her dreams and happiness first. Armed with a bright red jeep, Tallulah the airstream, and a whole lot of hope; Lucy is ready to hit the road.

Miles Hart learned to grow up quickly, put everything on the line for success, and trust only a few people. The Hart brothers put themselves through college and made their way into entrepreneurship as the proud owners of Triada. Miles is the HR guy, the people person, the nice brother, he is supposed to have all of these fun stories; in reality, Miles never steps away from work and always has a new idea brewing. Perhaps it is time to switch things up and lean into his image, live a little, and take a dang vacation.

I found it very enjoyable to read about the road trip and all of the real and interesting stops you can make on the route they mapped out. The evolution of Miles and Lucy was also quite interesting, there is a bit of a one-bed moment and lots of tension built up that is cut with some humorous moments. Lucy aspires to be an influencer and struggles at first to find her footing and see what followers like. Part of me wishes she would have struggled more, we all know how hard it is to find your place and your theme while also pleasing everyone. It also would have been nice to dive deeper into both Lucy and Miles's feelings about themselves, it was clear they each had more to their story. Otherwise, it was a nice read and I found it quite entertaining. Helped me get out of a reading slump!

The premise is pretty straightforward. Lucy is tired of being a billionaire’s assistant and being taken for granted by her boss she’s had a crush on for two years. Miles doesn’t realize how important Lucy is until he’s left picking up the slack. To win her back (as his assistant) he tags along on her Route 66 road trip. If he taps out of this less than glamourous trip early, Lucy never has to go back to his company and he’ll give her a bonus. Lucy is confident she’ll win.

This book is so much tropey fun. Mostly forced proximity (they’re travelling in a vintage airstream trailer), but also goofy road trip stops and a guy who’s falling in love even as he refuses to acknowledge that he ever will. If boss/employee romance isn’t your thing, don’t worry. They’re not working together anymore and the dynamic quickly becomes more of friends living to annoy each other than anything else. There are no icky power imbalances here.

The book was really fun, and I loved Lucy’s journey of learning to let go of always being practical to follow her dreams. Miles was a nice surprise too, slowly opening up to Lucy to show her all the secrets from his past he keeps hidden from everyone else, even his adoptive brothers. These characters really just worked together.

My only quibble was that Lucy was 23 and Miles either 27 or 28. That made me see everything in the book differently once I realized. I just had a hard time believe Lucy was also so fed up as to switch careers so young, and it was even harder to buy that Miles went from adopted by a single mom to barely affording college to billionaire by that age. If they were both a few years older, I think the message of the book would have landed better for me. Or maybe I’m just salty because I’m older than both of them.

What could be more fun than becoming a traveler influencer after quitting your full time job? Pulling a vintage Airstream along Route 66 I sure to launch Lucy’s new career, but there’s one catch. Her former employer is tagging along to convince her to come back.
I liked all the descriptions of the places they visited and how Lucy and Miles got to know one another.
It’s a trip of self discovery and self reflection for both of them.
I did laugh at Miles being tucked up in a minute bed and cramped for space.
It’s fun, breezy, easy read.

The plot is unique, with the workaholic boss (Miles) whose trying to get his assistant (Lucy) to work for him again. There's lots of groveling, bantering and some spicy scenes throughout the story which keeps me interested until the end.

The road trip is my favorite part about this book, the author definitely did a thorough research about all the places which made me felt like I was there with both MCs.

I really like how this road trip also lets Miles and Lucy discover new things about each other, something they never knew even though they've been working with each other for the past 2 years.

However, I wish the pacing was slightly slowed down for the romance part. It happens a bit too fast for Miles to fall for Lucy in the span of two weeks, while Lucy had been pining for two years.

Overall, this is a cute and fun read. The ending was wrapped up nicely with the sweet epilogue as the cherry on top!
I'm looking forward to read more books from this author.

A huge thank you to Netgalley, the author and Entangled Publishing for giving me this e-ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing!

I do believe I have read my top book of 2022!

Miles and Miles of You has everything I hate about romance. Forced proximity....eww. The one bed debacle...ewww....

Somehow Jennifer Bonds has changed my opinion!

This book is everything a romcom should be! It is love, lust, loss, and lessons learned.
The characters set out on a journey across Route 66 and really ended up on a journey of self discovery. Thank you, Jennifer, for giving me a romance that is so much more than just surface level mumbo jumbo. I will forever cherish these characters!

This was cute! With a heavy side of smutty.
I love the whole idea of quitting your job and driving cross country in an airstream. Add in a sexy supporting character and you’ve got it made!

Easy romance, didn’t get too deep but there are some mentions of big triggers. Check content warnings.

About 3 spicy scenes that are explicit and descriptive. 18+

Fairly quick read, but it did take me longer to get through this than I would have thought. Storyline isn’t very intense (I wasn’t pushing to always pick this up). Conflict and resolution didn’t have a big scene. The getting back together part is cute.

Predictable romance but I had a decently fun time reading this.

Special thanks to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing LLC for this digital ARC.

Miles and Miles of You is the first book in The Harts series by Jennifer Bonds. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. This was a great read, lighthearted, funny and steamy.

Cute read about Miles and Lucy's road trip. He tags along, desperate to show her she won't make it as a travel influencer so she'll come back to being his assistant. They both underestimate each other, and spending two weeks in a tiny Airstream reveals a lot about the other that they didn't realize. Lucy's always had a crush on Miles, but he starts having feeling partway into the trip, too.
Lucy's gran, her gerbil, and the many tourist destinations along Route 66 provide some laughs. There is a bit of seriousness in both the characters' pasta, but overall I felt like this was fun book and a quick read. A nice virtual trip alongside the characters.
