A sweet, childish, tender graphic novel that makes you sigh at how cute it is. You know that I have a weakness for middle grades and I simply loved this one, and if we add the lively and beautiful illustrations, it's a plus.

Totally recommended, it reads super fast and makes you want to know more about the world of pandorient. I will definitely continue with the other graphic novels.

Welcome to Pandorient is the first book in a series about a girl who travels inside a music box and finds a new and interesting world.

The art for this book is expressive and fun. The designs of the various residents of Pandorient are playful and well executed. The story is pretty basic, for there's lots of texture and some fun worldbuilding.

This was a nice start to the series and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
On her eighth birthday, young Nola receives a snow globe from her father. Later that night, she sees a tiny person on the globe wanting her help. Magic happens, and Nola transforms into someone small and ventures into the world of Pandorient. There, she sees different creatures of all types and learns that nothing is what it seems. As Nola helps two siblings with helping their sick mother, Nola learns of a particular dream sand that's affecting the water in the apartment complex. Can Nola and the siblings figure out who's making the dream sand before it's too late?
With her mother missing for several months, young Nola just wants her mother back. The world she enters of Pandoriet I find magical and whimsical. It's such an exciting concept of the world within a snow globe. The art depictions of all the characters and creatures are fantastic. I wish I could visit that world! I can't wait to start book 2.

The story here isn't really something we haven's seen before, but the characters and world-building are strong, and leave you wanting to dive into the next volume. It talks about grief and how much support you need to overcome it, motherhood, childhood, mixed with whimsy., which makes it great for children to discover and talk about these topic in an accessible and easy way. Beautiful artwork, a fun and intriguing adventure in an imaginary world

Super cute and fast paced. I thought it was very sweet (also a bit sad, for obvious reasons). The characters were unique and the dialogue didn’t bog it down or take me out of the experience. I especially loved the illustration style which I thought added to the whimsy and magic of Pandorient in a great way. It made turning every page as exciting as Nola going on another part of her journey.

I would absolutely pick up the others to see where the story goes!

A beautiful first edition into the world of Pandorient. I felt some of the plot and world building was too fast, I wish I knew more about Pandorient first but I will love to continue the series!

An enjoyable graphic novel for the young reader.
I really like the 'think about it' and 'write about it' sections at the end, which teach critical thinking about literature.
I strongly associated the graphics with Disney, which made the reading experience even more enjoyable!
I will be recommending it to readers younger than me, even if I don't reach for the subsequent volumes myself.

This is a very beautiful and children's graphic novel that I enjoyed but so far, I saw many clichés that I did not empathize and that did not cause me magic, but I am still not the target audience.
Even so, the drawings are good, although I don't highlight them, they are still precious and beautifully represent the essence of the story.
I want to know more about your adventures.

What a gorgeous book!
The art was amazing, it reminded me of The Mitchell vs the machines (especially the dad) but the creatures really made me think of the Ghibli fantasy world. So many things to look at, a real feast for the eyes!

the colours are beautiful, the characters feel very alive and the story makes me want to check out their next adventures! I'm sure my kids would love this book and will look out for it in paperback.

I also love the questions at the end to inspire the readers to think and write about the story!

I really enjoyed the art and the story but the speech bubbles seem out of place. People might not think that's important but I had a hard time concentrating on the beautiful art because the speech bubbles and the text were too rigid, I should say. I'd prefer it if it was in a different font. On the story and the art, I absolutely love the art. The story was really cute too. It has lore but I feel like very little is explained due to the pacing of the story that feels immediate and rushed. Even so, I'd gladly read the sequel.

I instantly adored the art and character designs. The story itself is very fast-paced (at times a little rushed), but easy to follow. I enjoyed the read and only wish it was twice as long so we could get a more time with the characters and the world. Overall, it's a cute and quick read full of whimsy and beautiful art on every page. I'm looking forward to learning more about Pandorient!

This was an adorably written and illustrated graphic novel. After the passing of her mother, Nola receives a music box from her father and finds herself transported into Pandorient.

She sets out on an adventure with her new friends from this strange world. It was such a lovely and charming read and I highly enjoyed it.

This is a great and exciting start for early readers to delve into fantasy. But this is an enjoyable read for all readers.

Thanks to Netgalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a good read for new readers to the fantasy graphic novel realm. The illustrations were colorful and fun and the characters were unique. Personally I was hoping for a bit more to the story in the first part however, this first segment of the overall series May be just enough to give young readers just enough intrigue to be left wanting more at the end.

Thanks Netgalley for providing me with a digital copy of this to review.

After the death of her mother, Nola receives a beautiful present from her father : a music box that belonged to her mom. She soon realizes that it isn’t just a beautiful object, but the door to another world, Pandorient.

Nola is a sweet character, ready to help Andrea and Igor, the new friends she meets in this strange kingdom. Forgetting her own grief, she does her best to save the life of their mother.

What attracted me in this graphic novel is the art. Each page is pure beauty and a colorful party. The story isn’t really original in itself : a young girl finds herself in another world where she helps the strange inhabitants, but it is still really well written and made me want to discover more of the world of Pandorient. Carbone slowly unveils the mystery, introducing the main protagonists in the process.

Thank you Europe Comics and NetGalley for the advanced electronic review copy of this great book. This is a wonderful, magical story full of whimsy, strong characters, and interesting world building. Gorgeously illustrated, this book is the first in the series translated from French. Looking forward to the translation of the other volumes already published in French. Would definitely recommend.

This is a really adorable book yet it's also very heartfelt. The art is stunning. Gorgeous. The world building made me very interested in reading the next book. Highly recommend it for children. Especially if that child is dealing with a loss of some kind.
