I love the Little People, Big Dreams series and this one is a great addition to the series. It does gloss over the more difficult aspects of the Queen's reign and the monarchy, such as colonialism, and I wished it had tackled more important issues. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Another wonderful book from the Little People, BIG DREAMS range. This time focusing on the incredible life of Queen Elizabeth II.

Perfectly crafted for children to understand or for any adult to get a quick overview of the Queen's life and supplemented with beautiful illustrations which bring the words to life.

I love the Little People, Big Dreams series and think its fitting for Queen Elizabeth to be included. I have read many books about Queen Elizabeth and know a lot about her life but even this book that simplifies her life shows how she inspired other people. The illustrations are great as well.

I love receiving these books from Netgalley and it’s timing with the passing of the Queen so recently. I never knew her backstory and it was definitely fun to read about how she became Queen and also her efforts in the war and for children when she was younger.

My daughter loves reading the Little People, Big Dreams series. We were thrilled to receive an ARC of Queen Elizabeth. We learned so much about the Queen and I was pleased to see that they left out the royal drama. (I did not want to explain that to a seven-year-old!) Even as an adult, I enjoyed learning more about Queen Elizabeth's life, especially when she was younger. I think this is a great read and tribute to our late Queen.

Queen Elizabeth childrens book is seriously the cutest book to date in the Little People Big Dreams series!!

My daughter and I enjoyed the story of Queen Elizabeth. The story was easy to read and factual. The illustrations were done well.

My daughter had me read this many times due to its release shortly after Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

My daughter has added this book to her wish list to have on her own book shelf.

Queen Elizabeth is a wonderful addition to the Little People Big Dreams series. I very much like that the author emphasizes the Queen's sense of duty, even from a young age - and that she had not expected to be Queen, the role was thrust on her, and she still lived that sense of duty, and performed her duties nobly. I will purchase this in hardcover for my granddaughter. Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the arc. Great book for children - and adults!

Queen Elizabeth by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is a fascinating children’s story about Queen Elizabeth that I found interesting too. It would definitely help children doing history reports. The book gives statements it thinks children should know about the Queen. I would love to read it to my granddaughter some day. The illustrations are beautifully done.

A cute little peek into Queen Elizabeth II's life. Perfect for tiny tots and beginning readers.

Me? Personally? I'm a sucker for those darling corgis in the illustrations. And their tiny corgi tails! Adorable.

The book closes with a photo of Queen Elizabeth from 2021. Nothing is mentioned about her death.

A charming book all around. Keep in mind for Christmas gifts!

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

I adore the Little People Big Dreams series & this book seemed very appropriate this fall. Like so many others, I was saddened by Queen Elizabeth's death. This book is such an awesome book to teach young children about the amazing woman that Queen Elizabeth was. The illustrations are wonderful & I love the timelines at the back of the books. This timeline stops short of Queen Elizabeth's death. Hopefully it will be updated in the next printing.

Queen Elizabeth is a cute and informative book about the Queen before and during her reign. I think that it would be easy to follow for children. The illustrations are cute and support the story well. There is a section at the back with facts and real pictures of Queen Elizabeth. I would have loved this book as a child. This will be on my list of gift books for kids.

I love this book and the entire series consisting of 110 wonderful books for readers ages 4-7. Queen Elizabeth ll was a much beloved queen whose reign lasted 70 years. She was Britain's longest-reigning monarch. She became queen when she was young and took her title and duties very seriously. She was not the typical queen or princess found in fairytales but had to give up many desires and personal aspirations to serve her subjects. She pledged to dedicate her whole life, however long it would be, for the good of others and she faithfully fulfilled that vow.

Queen Elizabeth ll loved corgis dogs and horses and dreamed of living on a farm. Little did she expect that should be a reigning queen living in a grand palace all the rest of her life. In 1952, she was crowned Queen of the United Kingdom. Sadly she passed away on September 8, 2022 and the entire world mourned her death. Two of her corgis dogs and one of her horses attended her state funeral.

The whimsical, quirky illustrations are wonderful and the author has included extra facts at the back of book including a biographical timeline and historical photographs of Her Highness.

WoW.....This book was Just brilliant! Queen Elizabeth by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara it may be small and only have 32 pages but these pages are beautifully illustrated and full of facts about our wonderful Queen Elizabeth, the longest-reigning monarch of modern times.

Little Elizabeth loved her dogs and horses and dreamed of living on a farm. But, one day, she heard chants on the streets. Her uncle Edward had renounced the Crown, which meant her father would be the next king, and she heiress to the throne. From that day on, she had to learn how to one day be the queen.

When she was only 13, World War Two broke out across the globe. Elizabeth bravely served as an ambulance driver, and after the war ended, she fell in love with and married the charming Prince Philip. In 1952, she was crowned Queen of the United Kingdom, and for the next 70 years she would serve as a beacon of continuity, looking after her subjects and serving the country she reigned over.

This moving book features stylish and quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the monarch’s life.

These Little People, Big Dreams series are a wonderful find for small children. However, this book is so Special and was wonderfully written about a great lady Our Queen.

This is an absolutely beautiful telling of the life of Queen Elizabeth. The illustrations are amazing and really add to the story. I will 100% be purchasing this for myself and my future children to enjoy. Another amazing edition to this adorable collection!

A short, colourful biography of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning British monarch. The release of this addition to the series within days of the subject’s passing intrigued me. It depicts the reality of the life of the Queen of Britain, showing how hard she worked to serve her people, the many duties she had, as well as being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and corgi mother. However, it glossed over the many controversies surrounding the royal family and criticisms of her continued role in colonialism. I understand that this book is for young children, but I feel like one sentence to address the fact that the monarchy, and this particular monarch, are not perfect, would be appreciated by many.

These biographies are age appropriate; inspiring and interesting, but not overwhelming. They have bright, beautiful illustrations, striking covers, and look great on a shelf together. I love the diversity of the people featured in this series. Artists, athletes, authors, activists, actors, explorers, entertainers, musicians, and scientists.
Thank you NetGalley and Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

The ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The ‘My First Little People, Big Dreams’ series provides informative and inspirational biographies about people who left a mark on this earth, no matter what difficulties they have encountered.
These stories are very short, but that’s because they’re books for children, so it’s totally understandable.
I think they are a very smart and wonderful way to introduce little children to such important figures. This cute little book is about Queen Elizabeth, the UK's longest-serving monarch and, probably, the most loved one. I was incredibly sad to hear the news of her death. She was an icon and she definitely set a unique and important example. Queen Elizabeth spent all her life serving her people, putting always them first, and that is surely admirable. She made history, she is history.
