Can a red balloon replace a lost friend? The Kickstarter project is cute. But it needs more work. Colorful illustrations help make it a decent book to share with kids.

This is a beautiful and well done picture book told in rhyme about a child who loves a red balloon and his grief and eventual peace after losing it.
