Loved this fast paced, romantic conclusion to the SNAP agency series! Natalie Walters really ends things with a bang. (IYKYK) There’s something here for everyone; heart pounding suspense, intrigue, international criminals, decades old secrets, humor, great friendships, and a slow build, grumpy/sunshine romance that will leave you swooning.

Lyla’s and Nicholas’ feelings for one another have been slowly building over the series. He’s the cautious to her impetuosity. When a mission nearly ends in tragedy, Nic considers accepting a position with the military in Syria using his bomb expertise. Lyla’s recklessness mostly leads to a mission’s successful conclusion, but with Nicholas’ growing feelings, it’s hard for him to stand by and see her put herself in danger. When a criminal Lyla helped put in prison puts a target on her back, will Nicholas be able to help protect her, or will her recklessness put them all in danger?

This book kept me quickly turning the pages and I’m sad to see the series come to an end. Hoping for a spin off! I loved watching Lyla and Nicholas grow closer and seeing previous characters again, especially Kekoa. The intriguing storyline builds and builds with each new clue to a dramatic conclusion that had me on pins and needles. It’s a must read for inspirational romantic suspense fans!

While it technically can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books. The author does a great job bringing new readers up to speed, but there are a lot of characters and circumstances they might find a bit complicated if they haven’t read any of the previous books. Thanks to the author and publisher for the advanced complimentary copy. All opinions are my own and voluntarily left.

I cannot believe this series is over (insert crying face). Listen I have been waiting for Lyla and Garcia's story since reading book 1. I just needed to know exactly what was going to happen to these characters and let me tell you Natalie Walters did not disappoint. I wasn't sure where the story would go and what situation these characters were going to be immersed in but boy was it good! There is no hesitation or easy intro into this story. Right from the start you are thrown into the thick of it. We see Lyla being her usual confident, "no fear" self and Garcia trying to protect her from any danger that may come upon her.

If you have read the books from the beginning I can divulge that you will get a look into the past of Garcia and Lyla. Definitely helps you understand why they are the way they are to each other. I really can't tell you too much without giving the story away but know that this book is full of suspense and twists I was not expecting. I completely enjoyed seeing the SNAP team together again and their relationship with each other is as stronger as ever.

I have really enjoyed all the books in the series and I recommend you read them in order (starting with the prequel!). This was absolutely my favorite one but I think its because I just fell in love with these two characters. Natalie Walters is definitely a talented writer. I love that although she writes a story filled with suspense it's also filled with funny encounters and banter that will make you chuckle and laugh out loud, but most of all she infuses a faith thread into her stories that flows seamlessly.

Overall I absolutely loved this story and I definitely recommend it to everyone who loves romantic suspense!

Blind Trust is the final book of the Snap Agency series by Natalie Walters and can be read as a standalone novel without the reader having trouble following along.
Natalie Walters is a new-to-me author and I found that the story was more about the characters and their relationships than the crime. There are some action sense with a little bit of suspense, but lots of breathing room between scenes to watch the romance between Lyla and Nicholas unfold.
Lyla is a stubborn character who doesn’t seem to think before she runs into the action. This causes a lot of tension between her and her team leader, Nicholas. Nicholas is becoming distracted by his growing affection for Lyla which adds another interesting layer to character development.
The mystery that keeps Lyla and Nic on their toes is a conspiracy theory that goes back thirty years. Secondary characters are seemingly unconnected until the mystery is solved at the very end. There seemed to be a lot of intrigue leading up to uncovering the mastermind behind illegal weapons sales, and once readers are introduced to the culprit, the story wraps up really quickly.
I liked the random connections, but there’s a family secret that comes out of nowhere. It didn’t quite feel organic to the story, but then perhaps with all the randomness it works.
This isn’t one of those stories that will keep you awake at night, so it’s a nice change for the romantic suspense genre.
I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

Blind Trust is the final story in a great romantic suspenseful series and is Lyla and Nicolas' story, finally. They are co-workers with the SNAP Agency, whose home is in DC. Talk about a couple where opposites attract! Lyla is headstrong and impulsive. Nic is cautious and steady. One who used to work in explosives for the Army better be. Nic has one more mission to work in Syria. Should he stay away or return to the agency?
A person that Lyla helped put away has been sending threatening notes from prison for years but now he is dead of suicide in prison, but the threats are continuing. People are dying. Nic and the team do their best to keep Lyla safe, but danger abounds in the suspenseful final story with twists, turns, and some real surprises for Lyla. Psalm 23 is important to the team and Lyla and Nic keep it in mind. The key is, will Lyla and Nic get closer or not? Highly recommended!

Oh, the suspense! Oh, the romance! I have loved the romantic tension between Lyla and Garcia since book one. Would this story live up to my expectations? No, it didn’t. It surpassed my expectations.

Lyla was a person that walked to a different beat but never knew what drove her to be that way. Yes, she was impulsive and not always in the best of ways, but I really loved watching her come to terms with her true nature and embrace it.

Talk about opposites attracting, Nicolas was the calm to Lyla’s stormy nature. I loved his strength of character and willingness to put aside his wants to give Lyla what he felt she needed. And surprisingly, Lyla was actually the calm to his internal storms. Great match.

I received this book complimentary as a member of the author’s launch team. I was not required to give a positive review. All of the opinions I have expressed here are honest and my own.

This book is a wonderful, hard to put down mystery. I have loved this series and the characters in the SNAP Agency. I'm only sad that now the series is over.:( I highly recommend reading the books in order to fully appreciate the characters and their relationships, though it does work as a stand alone.

I love the SNAP team. They are so colorful and fun and support each other wholeheartedly, mostly. Nicolas does feel Lyla takes too many risks which causes some tension between them and struggles to figure out why she does it and why it matters so much to him. "Nic wasn't used to Lyla asking for his opinion without first stating what his opinion ought to be..." (location 2290). Nicolas feels "The woman owns real estate on the edge of risk, and next to her I look like Mr. Rogers" (location 2448). I enjoyed their interactions and watching them come to terms with their feelings towards each other.

There is a lot of great action and a real mystery to uncover with some huge twists along the way. Past characters were there. Kekoa is as big and bold as ever. It's a great read and a satisfying conclusion to the series even though I was sorry to see it end.

Thank you to Revell for providing me with a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Rating 4.5

Blind Trust makes a 360 turn and connects it all with the Novella Initium, so if you have not yet read that novella, it might be good for the full picture to read the novella before picking up Blind trust.

I flew through this story. The plot with twists and turns created a nail-biting suspense, but it was the underlying chemistry between Lyla and Garcia, and Lyla’s tendency to run first and think later, which made me flip the pages as fast as I could.

Lyla’s insecurities of really belonging and being loved for her impulsive self was such an integral part of her actions. Readers got glimpses of who she was behind her bubbly bold personality. Garcia with his serious tough exterior had also so much more to give readers.

Kekoa still remained a favourite character and some of the banter in this book had me in smiles a lot.

I am sad to say goodbye to the Snap Agency, but Natalie Walters stepped it up with her second series and I am expecting more great stories from her in the future.

I love the characters in this series! While Kekoa is my favorite, Nic and Lyla are wonderful too. The chemistry between them is electric although Lyla seems to not be fully aware of it.

The beginning pages of the novel drew me right in with Lyla working undercover and going against the direction of SNAP teammate Nic. She has a heart of gold but is fiercely competitive and stubborn.

The main suspense story line was a good one. Realistic with plenty of twists to keep readers guessing.

Now that this series has come to a close...when is the next Natalie Walter novel releasing?

Blind Trust is the best book in the SNAP Agency series, and if you’ve been reading along, you know that’s saying something! Lyla and Garcia really shine here, and Walters uses this story to weave together all the threads she’s been tugging since the beginning of the series.

These both played large roles in making Blind Trust both a fun book to read and one that dealt with the heavy issues of terrorism and fear with a balanced hand. I’m not interested in fluffy books; I want to learn something when I read, but the best stories for me teach me while I’m lost in the story itself, and that’s exactly what Walters does with Blind Trust.

Actually, it took me far longer than usual to read this book; partly because I really didn’t want to say goodbye to Kekoa and the gang, but also because I kept backing up and rereading. That’s really rare for me, but I kept thinking of things and making connections and going back a bit to read again. Finally, as I neared the end, I could tell that the events of Initium were critical to Blind Trust, and I put the whole book down to go reread the prequel short story since it had been a while since I’d done so. Then I backed up again.

That might seem weird, and it is unusual for me, but it was also perfect for Blind Trust. You won’t want to miss a single reference, so take the time to start at Initium and work your way through the whole series, even if you’ve read them before, because you’ll get so much more out of them this way. I’ll be doing that again soon, because even though I know how it all wraps up now, you can never have too much Kekoa or Lyla.

If it seems weird that a supporting character takes up so much space in the hearts of reader-fans everywhere, then you haven’t met Kekoa yet – but you should, because if you know, you know. What I loved about this particular book is that Lyla nearly reaches that same kind of stardom in my head. She’s sassy and snappy and fierce but also full of love and goodness, determined to help anyone she can. Lyla makes a perfect female lead, so when you set her up against Garcia and throw hunky Hawaiian Kekoa into the mix, it can’t be anything but fantastic.

So for all of these reasons and more, you need to read Blind Trust. Grab your copy today – it releases everywhere in just one week!

After their SNAP latest mission, Nicolas isn't sure that he can continue watching Lyla taking risks. Nicolas is offered a temporary assignment due to his military experience defusing explosive devices. He's wondering if he should make it permanent. Lyla thinks that Nicolas is overcautious, but she can't leave anyone in harm's way. A brick through Lyla's windshield starts the SNAP team on a twisting path through arms dealing, counterfeit money, and a traitor behind it. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This action-packed story kept me glued to the page. I like the touches of humor provided by Kekoa and her parent's neighbor Mrs. Davenport. It is an excellent twisting mystery. I love that Nicolas and Lyla finally realize how they feel about each other. My only disappointment is that the series has been concluded and I will have to wait for Natalie Walters to write another series.

A terrific conclusion to the SNAP Agency, that brings together the whole team as well as an unlikely couple, as they fight to keep the ones they love safe.

Lyla Fox is intrigued by a threatening letter that she receives from a man that she helped put away, especially since he died three years ago. Lyla wants to follow the lead, but she needs the help of the one person who won't want to get involved.

An engaging and mysterious read, that kept me on my toes and guessing throughout. I liked that this book had the whole team working together to take down the bad guys. I liked that Nicolas is careful and watches out for others.

Overall, an excellent addition to the series, I loved seeing favorite characters from the previous books, as well as Lyla and Nicolas becoming closer and tracking down the bad guys. A wonderful conclusion to an amazing series!

“Blind Trust” was a fun suspenseful book that I enjoyed reading. There was suspense from the beginning to the end which made it easy to read. The characters made me laugh, especially Kekoa, who was quite entertaining with some of his remarks he would make. Nic and Lyla were always looking out for each other and worried that they were each safe, which was really sweet. This was a clean read. I would definitely recommend the book to anyone looking for a suspenseful Christian fiction book to read.

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. These are my honest opinions.

This is book three in the SNAP agency series, however I feel it is a stand alone book. This is the only book in the series I have read and had no problem understanding what was going on. I do feel like I missed some good reads and some history of the SNAP team but it is not necessary to love this book.
This book is full of mystery, suspense, friendships, romance and more. Lyla Fox and her leap first ask questions later mentality is so opposite from Nicolas Garcia and his own style of risk taking. I love the friendship of the SNAP team and the sparks between Nicolas and Lyla. The book will keep you guessing and anticipating what happens next. I love this book and was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Engaging and exciting romantic suspense. Nice ending to an interesting series. Definitely can be read as a standalone. No need to read the previous ones, but as with most series it makes it more pleasurable. Many tender moments and so happy to have Kekoa there for comic relief. Don't we all wish to have a friend such as him. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Blind Trust
By Natalie Walters
Publisher: Revell
Series: The Snap Agency, book 3
Rated: 4
Obtain: Borrow
Back of the Book: “Lyla Fox knows she has a reputation at the SNAP Agency for impulsivity, but when she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in prison, she can't stop herself from going all in to find out why he's coming after her. Unfortunately, she's going to need the help of the one person who questions her reckless choices more than anyone else.
Explosives and weapons specialist Nicolás Garcia agrees to help Lyla in order to keep her safe, but her recklessness continues to be a major concern, especially when her investigation into a conspiracy puts a target on her back. Dealing with bombs is dangerous. Working with Lyla is proving to be just as treacherous--to both the mission and his heart.
Natalie Walters closes out her SNAP Agency series with a bang with this nail-biting story of a deadly government conspiracy, an unlikely couple, and an ending that will leave you breathless.”

Impressions: I enjoyed switching up my reading with this suspenseful romance. This book is the third installment of the Snap Agency series. I did not read the previous books and found the story to be read as a standalone novel. I really enjoyed how smooth the suspense and romance mixed in this book. Life is messy and I think the bad guys of this story were caught in a messy web they regretted. Rather than a black and white fight of evil verse good, this story showed how blurred sin can look in real life from a series of poor choices. Great read!

Quotes: “’Don’t start beating yourself up for what was beyond your control. It’s a path that leads to nowhere. Trust me on this.’”

“’Imagine your worst enemy.’ He stood there, and she imagined the frown tugging his brows together. ‘Saturated fats.’ ‘They are the silent killer.’” I loved this little dose of humor.

“’There comes a time when the Lord directs us to stand still and trust even when our instincts- when the crisis- lures us to act.’... ‘Don’t presume that being still means nothing is happening. God didn’t call his people to step into the Red Sea until it was parted.’” This was a good bit of wisdom to tuck away.

"I think you and Garcia are like copper and tellurium. Cu-Te. From the periodic table."

Lyla and Garcia's story was totally worth the wait. We already knew there was romantic tension between the two of them from the previous books but their story is so much more than romantic tension, clever barbs, and witty dialogue. A surprising and fascinating backstory is the foundation of intricately detailed and gripping suspense - when all the pieces are finally revealed, you will be completely blown away. Even if you didn't read the prequel novella Initium (which I didn't prior to reading this book), you will still be able to fully appreciate the beauty of the story. If you did read Initium, then you'll have a head start on understanding the plot here.

I enjoyed getting to know Lyla underneath her snark and political connections. Her vulnerability, drive to prove herself, and family dynamics added great layers to her character. Garcia's past that prevents him from pursuing Lyla was fleshed out and his integrity, loyalty, and thoughtfulness made him an unforgettable hero. Director Tom Walsh also had a voice, which added dimensions to the plot.

With nail-biting suspense, fantastic plot twists, lovable characters, strong faith thread, and crackling romantic tension, Blind Trust is the perfect ending to a wonderful series. Kudos to Natalie Walters!

I received the book from the author/publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.

I have been so excited for Lyla and Nic's story! Hooked from the first page, I couldn't put this one down until I finished it! Totally worth the lost sleep! This one will keep you immersed in the story from beginning to end!

*note- can be read as a stand alone but will be best enjoyed when read in order
