"Blind Trust" is a Christian romantic suspense. This is the third book in a series, but it works as a stand alone. The characters reacted realistically to events and came across as real people with genuine struggles. Lyla's passionate about protecting the innocent, so she often ran into danger without thought to the danger to herself. Since she's skilled, she's able to handle the danger. However, Nic's more cautious and a planner. He'd rather that she assess the risks and realize how harm to her would affect those that care for her.

Nic loved Lyla but couldn't handle the danger she was often in, so he was considering leaving SNAP. Nic and Lyla cared about each other, knew each other well, and even apologized and tried to compromise, but compromise wasn't solving the underlying fears and hurt. Both had epiphany moments that shifted their perspectives, allowing for a healthy relationship to bloom. The suspense came from attacks (mostly with Lyla in danger). There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting novel.

Just ok for me.
Lyla Fox, an agent with SNAP who has a reputation for occasional on the job impulsiveness , is being threatened from jail, by a man she helped put there.
Nicolas Garcia, another agent, sets sparks off when he is around Luis and only wants her to be safe.
Action galore but the religious references and inferences were just a little too much for me. I did not pick up on that underlying theme in story descriptions.
My fault.
Strong characters and good plot development but just a little too much of the religious impetus.

As usual, Natalie Walters has given us a great story. This conclusion to the SNAP Agency series ticks all the boxes: suspense, romance, humor, and lots of twists and turns. Am excellent series, and one not to be missed.

Many thanks to Revell and Net Galley for my copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own.

i enjoyed this suspenseful romance novel. The romance was clean and slow, which I really appreciated. I liked the dynamics between the two main characters but I did not enjoy all the interactions with the secondary characters. I had not read the first two books in this series, although it probably would have added to the depth of all of the characters, it was easy to pick up the storyline and not feel like I was missing too much. This was my first Natalie Walters book and I enjoyed it and would read more by her. I really liked the faith component of this story and felt it weaved through the book well.

This is book 3 of The SNAP Agency series.

Lyla and Nic have worked together at the Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency (SNAP) for several years. Nic has a background in explosives and is a weapons specialist. When Lyla receives a threatening letter delivered to her with a brick through her windshield, she seeks Nic’s help to investigate who sent it and why.

When it’s discovered the letter is from someone Lyla sent to prison a few years earlier and who was reported to have been found dead in prison before the letter was sent, she and Nic get tangled up in multiple complicated situations involving an intriguing cast of characters.

This fascinating story is a page-turner, full of astonishing twists and turns, as well as the revelation of an unexpected, life-long secrets come to light.

This is an inspirational romantic suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page is turned.

Thank you to the publisher Revell for the complimentary book. All opinions and comments are my own.

3.5 stars

Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is defined as a romantic suspense novel. With plenty of suspenseful moments and an overarching romance, Walters does deliver exactly what fans of the genre want. However, the plot does focus on the romance between Nic and Lyla way more than the suspense in the first half of the novel. With the constant reassurance that they were not in a relationship, Lyla and Nic's emotions ran across the pages of the story. Of course, there is a suspense element. Someone wants to take out Lyla and with Nic's overbearing emotions and feelings for Lyla, he does not want this to happen. The suspenseful plot was a little disappointing. I wanted a lot more. The ending was predictable and has been done a number of times before. While I love the idea of the SNAP group, it was not really that prominent in this story. Walters does handle the idea of a suspense novel but with her safe topics. I want suspense novels that keep me on the edge of my seat, flipping through the pages way past my bedtime. Sleep is for the weak. With Blind Trust, this was not the issue. Readers could put down the story and return at another time and completely remember what they had read before. Overall, Blind Trust by Natalie Walters delivers a romantic suspense novel, but it is a little heavy on the romance more than the suspense.

I received a complimentary copy of Blind Trust by Natalie Walters through Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

The long awaited story of Lela and Nic is finally here!
Continuing on with the SNAP agency adventures, there are twists and turns, and a surprise ending that will have you turning the pages.
Often our strengths can be used to error on the side of throwing caution to the wind. However, hovering over a person does not help the situation.

Excellent conclusion to The SNAP Agency series!! I absolutely loved it and read it in less than 24 hours.

Blind Trust is the third in the heart pounding romantic suspense series by Author Natalie Waters. (4th if you count Initium, the novella that introduces the series.) I like to think of her books as romantic suspense/ romantic comedy. I love the humor mixed in with all the non-stop action and suspense. I was so excited to finally get to read Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia's story. The friendship and the chemistry is so fun to watch unfold in this fast paced, explosive story.

I came to love all these characters, Director Walsh, Jack and Brynn, Kekoa and Elinor, Lyla and Nicolas, Lyla's extended family, and I am sad to see the series end. I am secretly hoping for a Christmas novella that brings back the team!

You can certainly read Blind Trust as a standalone story, but I enjoyed every minute of each book in this series! I highly recommend Blind Trust for lovers of romantic suspense with humor.

Thank you to the publisher and net galley for allowing me to read an early copy, all opinions are my own.

I didn’t know that this book was the third in a series, but it read just fine as a stand-alone novel. This book was an exciting read. I really appreciated the plot with the mysterious aspect running through the whole book. It definitely gave it the feel of a thriller/action movie.

The book overall was clean and well-written. I was surprised and impressed by the way that Natalie Walters introduced the interest between Nic and Lyla so early on yet still kept the tension so long without overdoing it. They were interested in each other, but from the insight which we gained from reading their point of view it was clear they weren’t ready to admit their feelings for each other. And they didn’t jump the gun! Too often in novels the characters aren’t ready to admit and discuss their feelings but they wind up kissing each other a handful of times before they wind up being ready to admit/discuss. I really appreciated the maturity found in these characters in that they didn’t jump the gun in that regard.

I will definitely be looking into reading the other books Natalie Walters has written!

In the middle of this book I started live posting on my IG because I couldn't handle it. "The tension is so bad I want to hit something! I need taekwondo class or to finish this." It just got "worse" from there. Wow. Natalie Walters did a fabulous job wrapping up this delightful series--with more satisfying ties that pulled the whole series together than I anticipated. If you loved Kekoa's humor from previous books, you won't be disappointed with his plentiful shenanigans here. And of course our hero, Nic, has enough brooding and angst over Lyla to make us want to shake him. Lyla's character has always been a delightful supporting role in the previous books, but she really comes into her own here--again in surprising ways. I highlighted so many fun moments showing her personality and passion.

This is 100% suspense with a satisfying 100% of romance, braided with a welcome balance of humor and unexpected twists. Love it, love the whole series, and so glad Natalie Walters finally gave us the story of Nic and Lyla!!

She’s done it again. Natalie Walters has created a story that absolutely sucked me in and didn’t let go. I hate to see this series end but love the way this book pulls together so many strands. I have loved sassy Layla from the first book and couldn't wait for her to get her story. This one was worth the wait. SOOOOO good. A great read.
