Overall as a series, it my favorite polyamorous romance. I did enjoy how each one focuses on one of the trio’s journeys individually.

Sierra Simone is a wonderful writer and I can't get enough. This was a great part of the series and I can't wait for more from Simone.

Have you ever read a series and thought why did I read this? Yes this series is that and I blame booktok for subjecting me and duping me. This story telling is awful and sooooooo boring.

Absolutely yes hands down. I've read and loved a lot of books over the course of my lifetime. And I can say with certainty that this one is on a whole other level of greatness! That's not a knock against any of the other amazing books available to readers, it's just that this book spoke to all my major loves. When you read it actually you may choose what parts exactly from the book stand out the most. The sex parts or the story parts. Yes, there are numerous sex scenes in the book. Some readers may even think that it is one long sex scene with a few intervals that include an actual story. Greer, Emery and Maxen have so many scorching hot moments in every possible combination. You may just want to read those and forget the rest of the book. I believe it is understandable. I am overall very happy with this trilogy. I HIGHLY recommended it, if you are a fan of MMF romance. If on the other hand you have never read MM or MMF before, I believe this is the right trilogy for you to experiment and maybe leave your comfort zone for a while.

I hate to say this but the best thing of this book was when it was 0ver... After already not enjoying part 2 of this series i should probably just have stopped reading these books but i wanted to know how everything ends.

By the time I read this, after having read the first two books, I was bored with the storylines . There were little new topics discussed and the ending was just bizarre and beyond realistic.

feeling pretty disappointed, to say the least. i did not read this book thinking is would be an MM love story, because i just don’t enjoy those tbh. i really enjoyed the first two books so i feel let down by this one. i don’t feel like greer was a part of this book at all. i wasn’t expected books focused on greer + embry, greer + ash, or ash + embry. i liked reading about all three of them. the ending was okay.

I really appreciate that Sourcebooks so generously made all three books of this trilogy available to me to review and I did look forward to reading them all but by the halfway point of book two, it became clear to me that it was no longer working for me. I am giving three stars here because I can see from what I've read that this would probably be around three stars for me if I stuck it out.

This book was so unnecessarily long. It could have been tied up much faster. There was a part of it that caught my interest but the end felt very cheesy.

WHAT A WAY TO END AN AMAZING TRILOGY, omg. no freaking flaws.

Thank you to Bloom Books, Sierra Simone, and Net Galley for this E arc in exchange for my honest review.

Book 3 of this series wrapped up everything nicely with a bow. We got a glimpse into Ash’s past and how the future would be with all characters. I did cry with the last couple chapters and smiled at the last line. This whole series started off shaky for me but finished strong. I enjoyed it very much.

Thank you to NetGalley for the complimentary copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

That was a lotttt. I can’t believe this trilogy is over for me. I went into this so scared. I was so scared I even looked up spoilers and I was still scared. I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SCARED. I officially trust Sierra Simone as an author so much. The angst and the heart strings yanked but it’s written in such a beautiful way even the resolution doesn’t take away the pain it makes it worth it. If you read the bullet points of what goes on in this series you may think how could I make it through this but it’s like Sierra was holding my hand the whole way.

This was a great balance of POVs. I still even got a bit of Greer. This utilized flashbacks in a way I don’t normally like, namely when the chapter starts off saying the timeline is currently in the past but then the voice is still jumping around timelines. I usually feel like if you say you’re going to be in a certain timeline then stay in that timeline and don’t have flashbacks on top of it. BUT all that said I do feel like the jumping around made sense for what a reader would have already experienced in the first two books. It actually helped moved the plot along instead of living through way too much time of a scene in an alternate POV. I would feel like the brakes were engaged when it was a “then” chapter but then it always ended up being about something really interesting and made sense to me.

I feel we did get to know more about Ash, mainly that he’s a sad boi. It’s a pretty basic perspective to uncover in a way but I think it just wrapped it all up nicely. Like all the angst and hurt and push/pull that we went along with Greer and Embry through turns out was actually worth it cause Ash’s POV is still a stand up guy.

I commend this triad for really having balance. It is not easy selling a relationship in which pairs of the three have a very significant amount of time together and not all together. This wrapped it up in a way that is so believable to me in that they really did get their own and somehow emotionally equal time.

Overall, I was just so caught up in this series. It’s truly amazing. I can’t say I loved the twists and turns cause they legit hurt my feelings but in a good way that all ended up okay and kept an interesting plot and relationship dynamic. I almost forgot to mention it, but yes continued blazing hot spice per usual. Sierra never misses.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom books for this ARC for the re-release. I loved this whole series.

This is going to be short. Sierra Simone delivers such a lovely conclusion to the trilogy! Told from three different POVs, the story spans several years into the future and shows us the progression of relationship between the main characters.

Sierra Simone's series are never the traditional romance story endings, and this one is no exception! Plenty of surprises along the way. A good conclusion to the series.

DNF - I did not want to continue this series after finishing the first book. However, I enjoy this author's other books and look forward to reading others by them.

I didn't know what to expect from this book- it's part of a trilogy. I've not read this author before and I have to say that I will read her other works now. Intriguing story and characters. Great read.

A most heartfelt welcome to Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for giving me a chance to read American King by Sierra Simone in exchange for my honest review.

First things first let's start with spicy content/kink warning :bdsm themes, cuckolding, MMaction, anal sex, exhibitionism, voyeurism, MFM, MMF
Trigger warnings : rape, extortion/backmail, suicide/suicide ideation, chaaracter death

The final installment to the New Camelot series offers the reader a stunning conclusion to Ash,Embry and Greer's story full of steamy smut and political intrigue. The now multiple POV alternates between them three (with an added bonus of a chapter told in Abilene's POV) that really shows the reader the full spectrum of the political conflict brewing since the previous book and also adds a tone more depth to the spicy scenes between the characters.
So many spicy scenes to highlight, I really can't decide which was my favorite : the time Ash used his safeword with Greer, the flashack to the time Ash and Embry were in the club together during Ash's training or the last first between Ash and Embry.
It's impossible to choose, just like it's impossible to guess the ending of their story. Will their story end just like the Arthurian legends or will a diffrent fate await the three of them in the future ? Read American King to find out !

The American King by Sierra Simone is the final book in The American Queen trilogy.

First, there are parts of this series that I absolutely loved, the stong voice of each character when it's their point of view is well done. Greer definitely redeemed herself in this book. And then there's the fantasy element, I'm aware this was a modern retelling of Camelot, but I was almost going to stop reading after the big secret is revealed. I'm glad I continued, but I truly feel we could have had a compelling story without the little walk down fantasy land.

We pick up from the end of the last book. There is so much sadness, and we are once again seeing the past and the current event unfold. The decisions made by Embry to protect Ash and Greer are both heartbreaking and understandable at the same time. So much more should have happened to Abilene. That's all I'll say about her. Ultimately, with Embry and Ash at odds, you feel their bond even more in this book. The strength of the three of them and the obstacles they have to overcome are what binds you to want them to have the perfect fairy tale ending. And wow, you have to really slog through some dark times and magic to get there.
