Jessica Cunsolo has wrapped me in this spin off of her with me series, after reading about Aiden and Amelia I couldn’t get enough so to be brought back into this world I love it so much. The characters are back but with new focus on Aidens younger brother Jason and local new girl Siena. It’s filled with teen drama, romance and tension matching perfectly with the original trilogy.

"I don't know what's going on, to be honest I rarely ever do when it comes to you. But I'm here, and I'll be here for as long as you need."

WE LOVE ANOTHER WATTPAD BOOK. As a continuation of the With Me series (which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED), this is the next book where we follow story of Jackson and Jason Parker, (Aiden's younger brothers, who were featured in the earlier books as children), with a flash forward of 10 years later. In the story, we return to life in King City. Two sisters, Siena and Gia Amato, are moving in from LA, trying to find fresh starts leave their horrible pasts behind. Siena just got out of prison, and she's trying to live her senior year as clean as possible. It doesn't help though that her first interaction with King City is when she runs into Jason Parker, as she's forced to join him on a police chase. Meanwhile, Siena and Gia are living with their father who abandoned them when they were kids, so that's another challenge the girls are forced to deal with. On top of all this, one of their schoolmates went missing, and police officers are slowly starting to track down Siena's past and why she was in prison to begin with. So much for a fresh start...BUT, Ioved Jason's character. Him and his friend group are so supportive of Siena. Definitely a book full of chaos, but also a novel that features true friendships and new beginnings.

I read the first draft of the with me series back in 2019 on wattpad, and I fell in love with Aiden and Amelia's story. Be With Me is the perfect spin off the the series and also the taylor swift content in it??? perfection.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I want to start off by saying I read Jessica’s previous series She’s with me back when it came out on wattpad and I fell in love with her work. When I saw that this book was set in the same world, I had to get my hands on it and boy did it not disappoint me.

The author has a way of hooking you in the story from the start and keeps you turning pages after pages until you realize the book is done. She manages to blend suspense and romance together making it an infaillible combo.

Now on the the actual story. Set in a small town, we follow Siena, her little sister Gia and Jason (who we met in the series She’s with me for those who read it). All Siena wants is to start fresh and fly under the radar but as you can imagine, it doesn’t go that way. Then we’re brought on a roller coaster ride of emotion as multiple events unfold and we see Siena struggle to attain what she wants, protecting her sister and dealing with her past. She is strong and even though she knows she doesn’t have her stuff together, she pushes through and never gives up. A real mama bear for Gia, she is kind and has a heart of gold even if she doesn’t let on. Jason is seriously swoon worthy and so gentle. Having been through a rough childhood and similar experience Siena did, he is her rock (without her knowing) and really supports her however he can. I loved seeing their love story slowly evolves and how fiercely protective of her he became.

This book brought out so many emotions in me and I just wanted to reach out to the characters and be there with them. If you like small towns with a big history, slow burn, he falls first, a disappearance suspense and a chance to escape the past, this is for you. I would even recommend reading She’s with me trilogy before reading this if you want to have the whole Jason backstory but it is not necessary.

- this automatically became a comfort read for me
- romance & mystery
- protective mmc
- high school romance & drama
- perfect spin-off novel!!
- captivating and fast paced
- jason and siena <3
- THEIR TAYLOR SWIFT SINGING FEST IS PERFECTION
- this books gives me the urge to lay in the mud while it’s raining
- the epilogue left me blankly staring at the wall trying to comprehend what happened

Anything Jessica writes, I will read!! “Be With Me” is so enthralling from the very start and I could not put it down. I feel like I just inhaled this book and it was such a fun, yet suspenseful read. Every aspect of this book was just impeccable.

Love the combinations of different genres seen in this book (romance, comedy, mystery, etc.) I enjoyed reading about all of these characters so much!! They are so effortlessly funny and likeable. This book not only displays Jason and Siena’s flourishing romantic relationship but also brought familial problems and relationships to light. Siena and Gia’s sisterly relationship captures the turbulence and beauty of sisterhood so well.

Jason and Siena’s story is so special and I love the way they get along so easily. Jason is so understanding towards Siena and does not judge her for her past. They also compliment each other so well and have a lot in common, while still serving as foils. Jason always knows exactly how to comfort Siena and they both grow at ease with each other. The scene where they are dancing in the rain together will forever be special to me. Also, as a Swiftie i highly approve of Siena and Jason bonding over Lover.

Additionally, I enjoyed the dynamic of Jason and Jackson’s relationship and how they can communicate on such a personal level. It was similar to their relationship from the SWM trilogy and it was nice to see that they were able to preserve that into their teen years. They are both so sweet and have some similar qualities to Aiden but are also different because of how they grew up in better circumstances than him. Jason and Jackson also contrast each other with Jason being more reserved and Jackson being comedic.

I have absolutely adored the “With Me” series for so long and this new instalment is just incredible. “Be With Me” is an amazing spin-off from the SWM trilogy. It is similar to the original series in some ways, but it is also so different and unique in its own way.

I kind of like how the old characters did not appear directly and were only mentioned a few times because it allowed Jason and Siena’s story to have the spotlight. The subtle mentions/appearances of them throughout the story were really comforting for me because of how it showed that they were happy and thriving as adults. Finding out that Aiden and Thea got engaged made me soooo happy!!

Everything about this book was executed so well. This is exactly what I needed to start off the new year!! I feel like such a proud reader just seeing how far Jessica has come as an author and I can’t wait to read her future novels. I am beyond excited to find out what happens next in “Belong With Me”!!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for letting me read this eARC!!

Be With Me is the spin-off book to my favorite trilogy, the With Me Series by Jessica. I remember reading the first book of the series on Wattpad after it was completed in 2016; when I tell you it was the second time I fell in love with reading, I’m not kidding!

The characters and every scene still live in my head rent-free; Aiden Parker was my number one book boyfriend and Amelia Collins was my idol. Now, Be With Me came out today and I’m feeling nostalgic from reading an early copy!

Be With Me follows 17-year-old Jason Parker, Aiden’s younger brother, and Siena Amato, a new female lead. I absolutely loved all the With Me Series references in the book, it made my heart flutter every time! I also loved how this book, although focusing on Aiden’s younger brother Jason, stood out on its own, as well as the characters!

Jason’s character was absolutely amazing; he’s still like Aiden (calculative, observant, caring, and selfless) but also so different because there’s more depth when you get to know him. His relationship with Siena and his twin Jackson (the twin thing is real) was so cute to read, especially the inside jokes with Siena and how they met for the first time!

Although I definitely love Amelia way more, reading about Siena and her story was also refreshing. I admire her strength, confidence, and courage to deal with all the drama she had to go through all the while dealing with her rebelling little sister who looks up to Siena despite their fights.

Like the With Me trilogy, this book was packed with action, drama, mystery, romance, cutesy scenes, high stakes, and wild rides (quite literally). I enjoyed every bit of it and cannot wait for the second book to come out!

Being back in this universe made me so happy! I really loved Jason and seeing both him and Jackson older now and hearing about familiar characters from the other books and how they’re doing. Siena and Gias storylines have really captured my interest and I love their sister bond with all the ups and downs. I really need another book now because I want to know what happens next!!

I wanted to enjoy this but was overly unimpressed with the relationships, the dynamic, and the plot felt convoluted.

Huge thank you to Netgalley and of course Jessica Cunsolo for sending me this ARC in exchange for my honest review! I was so excited to read this book, the Stay With Me series has been on my TBR for a while now but when I saw this brand new spin-off, I just had to dive in. I was not disappointed!

Siena Amato and her kid sister Gia, might as well be orphans. Abandoned by their mother at a young age, they have been living with their aunt, who is definitely no role model. After a horrible incident occurs during one of her aunts wild parties, Siena winds up in juvie. When she is released a few weeks later she is surprised to hear that her father has agreed to house the two sisters. They haven't seen or heard from him in years, he took off pretty much the minute they were born, so this comes as a big shock. When Siena makes her way to the town where her infamous mother and father grew up, it is unfortunately not all white picket fences and family dinners in her future. Their father has zero interest in actually being a father, and would rather spend all his time away at work or just flat out ignoring them. So once again, it seems that Siena is left totally alone to try and pick up the pieces of what has become of their lives since the accident.

She starts her new life, with only three goals in mind: improve her grades, take care of Gia, and stay as far away from the police as possible. However... it's not exactly working out for her...she hasn't even been in King City for 24 hours before she finds herself with Jason Parker, the exact type of person she has sworn to stay away from. Just one look at him and she can tell he's trouble, if his devastatingly handsome face isn't the first indication, then maybe the fact that she ends up in a speeding car with him while he's trying to evade the police, is a better giveaway. This is the exact situation she wanted to avoid! But even after almost getting arrested AGAIN, she can't help but feel a strange attraction towards him.

After a local girl named Lily goes missing, Siena somehow ends up in the middle of the investigation, no doubt because of her past. To make matters worse, Gia begins spiraling out of control, drinking and getting involved with the wrong crowd. When things begin to be too much for Siena to handle alone, she cant help but to lean on Jason for support, especially when it seems like he's always around when she needs someone the most.

Finding herself in one impossible situation after another, she cant help feeling guilty for dragging Jason down along with her and getting him into trouble, especially since she was the one to originally accuse him of being the bad influence. She knows it'd probably be better for both of them if she just stayed away, but she cant seem to let him go. Jason quickly becomes the only person she can trust and that becomes crucial when Brandon, the person she suspects is actually involved in Lilys disappearance, sets his eye on her. Now it looks like she could be in even more trouble than she thought.

I loved the suspense in this book. My heart was pounding almost the entire time. I felt so bad for Siena and everything that just kept going wrong for her. She really does love her sister and is willing to do absolutely anything to protect her. I cant even imagine the relief of having someone else to share her burdens with, especially if that someone is Jason Parker. He genuinely cares for Siena, probably more that anyone else does in her life, something that she's definilety not used too. He is willing to go above and beyond for her, even if that means sitting in the back of a cop car with her. The two of them work great together, I loved their teamwork when trying to wrangle in Gia and also take down Brandon.

If you like action and drama packed books then you'll love Be with Me, it will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I hope that this becomes its own series, the cliffhanger in the end will be the death of me, I am so hooked!

Tropes:
❤ Protective (gets into fights for her)
❤ Willing to go to jail for her
❤ Dark secrets
❤ Damsel in distress
❤ Slow burn

Jessica did it again folks. I absolutely adore the She’s With Me series and I was SO excited to read this book- I was definitely not let down.

Returning to King City was as amazing as I hoped it would be. We got to see a grown up Jason and Jackson, we got so many She’s With Me references, and we got the action mixed with romance that made She’s With Me so good. Jessica put us back in a place we already knew but made it a completely different story, with different characters, and different stakes. It was the perfect sequel without actually being a direct sequel. This book doesn’t need She’s With Me to shine- it shined on its own.

The characters of Siena and Gia were fantastic, they were contradictions of each other and a perfectly imperfect sister pairing. Siena and Gia had their differences but you can tell they have so much love for each other. Siena would always protect Gia and while Gia was a 15 year old who was rebelling, she would always look up to her sister.

Jason and Jackson, the twins we already knew and loved- but they are older now. Jason is… he’s perfect, he’s amazing, an absolute dream. He’s so much like Aiden but he stands out in his own way and he doesn’t end up in Aiden’s shadow. I absolutely adored him.
There wasn’t as much Jackson as I’d hoped but that’s okay because every scene we got from him was golden. He’s sarcastic and playful but you can tell how much he loves his brother. You can tell that Jason and Jackson would do anything for each other- and they do. (Also, the twin telepathy is real.)

This story is wild. Jessica gave us a lot of action in this one and a lot of mystery. She gave us a perfect mixture of romance and wild rides. Its unexpected and crazy but works so well.

I highly highly recommend reading this. Whether you have read She’s With Me or not, though I recommend reading that first, this will be an enjoyable book.
