I was drawn to this book by the title and was looking forward to it but nowhere did it tell me that it's the second book in a series. You can tell that you're missing the back story as you're reading this and I found that frustrating. I also didn't warm to the characters and felt the story being told was a bit too forced. I did enjoy the parts set in New York as that's where the novel came to life. If you like the sound of this book I recommend finding the first book in the series first.

A nice , fun festive read that is easily enjoyable..I would have liked to read the first novel in the series for context.

Perhaps I would have enjoyed this book had I read the first one feature Lexie Byrne, but the authors writing style and the interaction between the characters did not work for me.

Such fun, oh this book is such fun. It's funny, joyful and engaging, I really liked Lexie and her story, getting up to mischief and finding her way in life. Fabulous fun.

Let me admit I marveled at these main characters, how they related to each other got me confused at first. Not wanting to be too clingy and therefor not always saying what one had on their mind... that sort of things.
However, the outcome with Lexie and the plans she had for her future, not playing by other people's rules, but her being her is what indeed made this book stick with me :)

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the book.

I'm yet to read anything by this author, but the fun title and cover drew me in.

It's a Wonderful Life for Lexie Byrne (aged 41 and a quarter) was a cute romance story with a believeable plot and characters you could relate to.

A quick, easy read dotted with Christmas elements.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.

It took me a while to work out that this book was a sequel which explained why Lexie’s relationship was clearly so well developed!
