This was a cute fun mystery in the continuation of this series. It was great to see Violet come to accept her powers and find herself more. I tend to visualize as I read. I would like to have more descriptions of places to flesh out the story. But otherwise it was a fun read.

This fun paranormal cozy series is back for it’s third book featuring crystal shop owner and fledgling witch Violet. Her shop, The Full Moon, is invited to take part in the Equinox Fair which quickly turns into a mystery when Horatio, the man running the fair and one of Violet’s role models, ends up murdered. Violet wants to know who killed him and why, while keeping herself safe too.

This is a charming series, with a perfect combination of magic and classic cozy with a fantastic cat, Monty, thrown into the mix. The mystery kept me guessing with some good twists and turns. I’ve liked watching Violet learn more about her magic as the series has progressed. I hope we get more of this series!

Thank you to Netgalley for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Cute addition to this witchy series. Its always fun to have some magic incorporated into a book, and this author has created a good story with her character Violet Mooney.
Perfect weekend read, curl up and get lost in this magical mystery.

"CHARMED meets MURDER, SHE WROTE" was exactly what I wanted and that was what I got. It was so well written and did everything that was promised. Cate Conte has a great style for a mystery novel and it did everything that I was hoping for. I enjoyed the characters and am excited to read more in this series.

"He nodded. “Everyone’s on high alert. This was even before Mac. As much as you think they didn’t take it as seriously as they could have after Mazzy, it’s a big deal and they know it. But they had to dress the part of the leprechauns you all are used to because the fair organizers aren’t all witches. It was a bit of a point of contention. Especially when someone asked them to do the Pot of Gold raffle.” Blake smiled a bit at that."

Violet Mooney is thrilled when her crystal shop is selected as vendor for the Spring Equinox Fair. She’s excited that one of her crystal role models will be there in person. But when the said role model is murdered, it’s up to Violet to figure out who wanted the man dead and did the deed. There may not be enough crystals in her shop to keep her safe once the murderer has her in their cross hairs…but she’s sure going to do her best to protect herself as she tries to solve the case.

I adore this series and have followed it from the first book in the series. Violet is still learning about her powers and that she comes from a pretty powerful magical family, which makes for lots of mishaps, mayhem and even murder. It’s the perfect blend of cozy and magic that delivers a perfect read each and every time! Cate Conte is a magical writer and each mystery is filled with red herrings to keep you on your toes as you try to solve the mystery along with Violet and the gang.

I enjoyed this book although I felt a little frustrated at how slowly it revealed who the bad guy was and ungenied Mazzy and Goldie. I liked the characters. #WitchWayOut #NetGalley
