I'm not sure what I was expecting. First we read the 75 folios, then there was a discussion on them. this was followed by critique and commentary by Nathalie Mauriac Dyer. Perhaps I expected less academic essay, more genuine surge of joy by a scholar at the finding of lost manuscripts. Much was made of identifying characters from Swann's Way, done in quite an elitist way. A huge amount of footnotes meant shorter reading all round.
