This story takes place in the town of Starlight (love the name) where Chase, an artist, is taking care of his troubled teenage sister Stella. Stella spends a lot of her time at the youth centre where Madison, a great cook with a big and somewhat abrasive personality works. When Chase gets into an accident, Madison helps them get back on track and falls in love with Chase in the process.

This was fine. I was really looking forward to reading a nice, cosy Christmas book and this wasn't quite the charming novel I was looking for. No fault of its own but the character each had really complicated lives and it was a bit much for me for that particular holiday where i'm looking for is fluffy fun.
