I loved this series by Tracie Peterson. Four books in one each book was separate and could be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed each one. Sorry it took so long to read all of them.

I really enjoyed this book by Tracie Peterson. I loved how this set of four novellas not only followed the season of the year but also had some stories at different seasons of life. I loved seeing young and old couples find love. I loved how each of these stories were unique and how they were uplifting. I thought this was a good collection of stories and one that can help people believe in love and God’s hand in our lives.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

I have long been a fan of Tracie Peterson writing. This book Love through the Seasons is four separate short love stories. Each one is a very easy light read. I really enjoyed the first section Stormy Weather as a lot of the Kansas towns listed are local to the area I live in. Each story is a stand alone but equally enjoyable.

I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a light feel good romance.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.

Summer: King of Hearts. This was my favorite of the stories! Elise Jost has worked hard to complete her college degree when she learns one week before graduation that she she needs one more credit! Renaissance Appreciation is the only one credit class that will allow her to continue working. Elise is shocked to learn she will be required to take part in a Renaissance Festival in addition to attending class and continuing her job!
Fall: Falling for Love. Widow Karen Jacobs and her mother live together in a large house when Karen's three aunts decide they would like to move in too! When Karen decides to do some modifications to make the house handicap accessible for the older ladies and hires widower Dan Polk to do the work, Cupid gets some help from Karen's mother and aunts.
Winter: Silent Nights Life takes unexpected turns when Frank Murphy says he has to work instead of taking his wife, Lynn, on a ten year anniversary trip! Lynn's grandfather offers some great advice to the couple.
I received a complimentary e-book of Love Through the Seasons through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.

Tracie Peterson is one of my favorite Christian authors. In Love Through the Seasons, she gives us four short, heartwarming, and emotional novellas set in Kansas. There are second chances, hearts turning back to God, tender love stories, a great read!

Four short stories, one for each season of the year.
Spring is tornado weather in Kansas. Think Wizard of Oz. haha
Summer finds Elise who is a determined hard working woman who is desperately trying to finish up college when learning she is short one credit. She enrolls in a class with Professor Ian Hunter. Sparks begin to fly!
Autumn is the story of a widow lady, Karen, whose mother lives with her. They move her mother's three elderly sisters into the home, also. Karen has renovations done to accommodate them all. A church member recommends Dan who is a widower who has a contracting business along with his two sons. Romance is in the air!
Winter finds Lynn Murphy a lonely wife while her husband takes many business trips and spends many hours at work. Now, he has cancelled an anniversary trip that Lynn has been looking forward to. Devastated, she packs and goes to her grandfather's for a time to consider her life.
I was given an advanced ecopy by the publisher, Barbour through Netgalley. I was under no obligation to leave a positive review.

I have read a lot of Tracie Peterson over the years, she was a staple in my teenage years. This was an enjoyable set of stories. I would have to say the Spring and Winter stories were my favorites. I enjoyed that all of the books were contemporary, I am more used to the historical fiction from Tracie.

All of the stories tucked in valuable nuggets of faith and guidance that I think can help all of us in our daily lives. I think my favorite would be the last story with Lynn and Frank. We can get so busy with our own agendas and thinking what we need in our marriages. We often can forget what our spouse needs. I am guilty of that myself. I really needed the reminders and the sweetness that this story brought.

So great job on this book, these stories are quick with insight and inspiration for our everyday.

Thank you to Barbour publishing and Netgally for this ARC.

I posted reviews to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Christianbook.com, and my own blog.

A solid collection of inspiring, feel-good Christian novellas. A great selection for anyone who would want to read a variety of stories and characters; this would make the perfect gift for the Christian romance reader in your life.

This book is probably best suited for older adult readers (40+) as the stories deal with topics such as the loss of spouse, adult children, etc.

I particularly enjoyed the story that featured a homeschool mom- I've never seen a book with a homeschool family as one of the main characters!

The story between the professor and his unconventional student had a great plot, I wish it would have had about 20 more pages to let the romantic tension build just a bit more.

The other two stories seemed to focus more toward an older audience and did not interest me as much as the first two, but were still solid reads.

Love Through the Seasons is a collection of love stories from Tracie Peterson with one story for each season (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). They can be read all together, or here and there throughout the year to fit with the season of that story.

Tracie Peterson is best known for historical fiction, but these stories are much more contemporary...and she did them wonderfully. With shorter stories such as these, it can too often feel like that stories are incomplete or rushed. While the timeline certainly may have been sped up more than what we might see in a full-length novel, I definitely feel like they were complete. I enjoyed the sweet romances, but also the messages of faith and family found within each story as well. Each story took about an hour or so to read, making them great for when you're wanting something brief but still full of heart.

Overall, a good read and one that fans of Christian romance are sure to want to check out.

**I received a complimentary copy for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

I don’t usually care for the several short stories in a book. But I did enjoy this book.
The characters were all good and ones that I cared about.
Thank you Ms Peterson for a job well done!

I love that this book hits almost every situation and season! I really enjoyed the first and last stories the most! But all were fun!

If you are in the mood for some shorter stories that are very cute, this book is for you!

A beautiful set of four novellas, each set in a different season, Spring, Summer, Autumn, & Winter. Fun but in-depth and quick reads each truly touching a different subject and God's role in the story. Each of the stories were great stories, not connected to each other but still joining together in how they touch different seasons of our lives with a special and unique romance is a beautiful story. It was interesting how each story fit into the season that it was in. I can't say to much about each story, without giving away some of the stories! L
To pick a favorite story would be a challenge, each was so well written and had a great lesson in it. I felt connected to the story and pulled into the characters' lives. I think that I would have to encourage you to read and decide which story is your favorite. We all will be touched by something different in each story and a different story will be the best, I think depending on when I read it.

This is a set of four short stories that are perfect for a night time or weekend read. Each features a set of single people who come to care for one another. These are clean romance stories. I will admit that one had me teary more than once. It is so sweet. The author reminds us that the storms in life can cause turmoil of the heart. God wants us to seek what His plan is for our lives. It's much better than our thoughts can hope for.
I want to thank the author, publisher and NetGalley for the advanced reader's copy of this book. I really enjoyed each story. This is my own personal opinion.

Love Though the Seasons is a wonderful compilation of four short stories written by Tracie Peterson. Each of the stories focuses in on a single woman at different times in their life. These are well written stories that will tug at the readers heart. I enjoyed reading each of these stories and wished they were full length novels. The topics for each story are so realistic and the author does a beautiful job of having the characters work through their issues with wonderful outcome. I especially enjoyed how God put someone in Gina and Karen in situations that brought them second chances at love.

Spring – Stormy Weather – I love how Gina, a young widow, works with the Boy Scout leader to enlighten the city council members as to the true story behind the organization. And the importance it has for the boys and their families.

Summer – King if Hearts – I felt disheartened for Elise as has to put off moving forward with her life due to an error the college made. I felt sorry for her with how she got stuck in a very time consuming class that she understood would not take much time.

Autumn – Falling for Love – Karen is a widow who has been caring for her mother and is now talked into caring for her aunts as well. This is such a sweet story of the elderly sisters coming back to their childhood home.

Winter – Silent Nights – This story is so realistic in how Frank puts the success off his job as number one in his life. To the extent he doesn’t realize what his wife, Lynn, is going through. I enjoyed how Lynn looked for peace and a place to work through her struggles at her grandfather’s home.

I voluntarily received a complimentary ARC copy of this book through NetGalley and Barbour Publishing, this is my honest review.

Love through the Seasons by Tracie Peterson will take you on a sweet stroll with four different short stories about finding love, in every season of life. Each story is not only fun and enjoyable, but they also each offer a different message about faith and how it looks in our daily lives. I really enjoyed them all, but I think my favorite was The King of Hearts, which is about the Renaissance festival. If you enjoy short stories with good messages and happy endings, then you won't want to miss this set! Thanks to NetGalley for the chance to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Tender and heartwarming stories of love. Love Through the Seasons also addresses love through various situations - second chances, first loves, reevaluating a relationship. This is a feel good collection of stories.

I've only ever read Mrs. Peterson's historical romances, so it was interesting to read some contemporary ones. The idea of four stories based on the four seasons in Kansas was an interesting idea and the weather played a part in most of the stories, particularly the first one. These stories were similar in that they were about older couples, in the sense of them being in their late 20s to 50s. I enjoyed that they were older and had experienced some of life, but some were still pretty naive. The stories that found love for a second time were sweet in how their hearts were opened to change and to love again. I imagine that is really hard. I appreciated the idea of the married couple struggling and falling in love again, because some people don't realize how much work marriage is and how important it is to communicate, but the characters were not my favorite. I struggled to connect with them. Personally I prefer this author's historical novels, but I still enjoyed this collection.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through Netgalley and this is my honest review.

This was a fun read. Four sweet and enjoyable contemporary romances through four seasons. Each story was unique and fun. I’ll admit that once I got started reading each story, it was hard not right finish it in one sitting. The characters were engaging and the stories so well written. This was my first book by Tracie Peterson, but I’ll definitely be adding more to my “to be read” list.
