Get Your Mojo Back; Sex, Pleasure and Intimacy After Birth by Clio Wood is not a kind of book I have read before but I book that everyone birth-giver should read! ! I felt so lucky to get a copy for myself! I have shared on my goodreads, bookstagram, and booktok!

There is no doubt that the topic of sex, intimacy and pleasure after birth is a challenging one, even for healthcare providers. Clio Wood approaches this subject the way it should be treated - with a lot of nuance and complexity. She shares her own story with getting her mojo back, as well as invites voices from outside her experience. However, I'm not sure if social media content creators should be given much more platform in this case, comparing to actual specialists, such as therapists and sexologists. For me it's hard not to think that inviting collaborators with thousands of followers was a calculated decision to sell more books.

I still appreciated the approachable tone of Wood's writing, as well as many good points she makes around parenting and partnership, and many different factors that affect intimacy after having a baby.

Frank and honest, this book establishes some normalcy around the impact of motherhood on a woman's body, mind and relationship. The author, Clio Wood shares her own story of birth and how this impacted her both physically and mentally, and her journey to overcome a whole host of issues in way that is useful, reassuring and uplifting. As a new, and not as new, mother there is a huge silence around postpartum sex, sexuality and relationships and this book opens up this conversation, acknowledges the lack of guidance and seeks to fill the gap. The range of advice and support resources provided at each step along the postpartum journey was wonderful and varied - there really will be something in this book for everyone! Personally, I found it very helpful so thank you Clio!

**Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read an advanced e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own **

Get Your Mojo Back by Clio Wood is an eye-opening and empowering read for women.

In this book, Wood addresses the various physical, mental, and practical aspects that can affect a woman's sexual experience and relationship after giving birth. She provides valuable information and practical tips on how to reclaim one's sexuality and feel confident and satisfied in their sexual experiences.

One of the things I appreciated about this book was the way it addressed the taboo topic of postpartum sexuality in a frank and honest manner. Wood does not shy away from discussing the various challenges and obstacles that women may face in this area, but rather provides a realistic and practical approach to overcoming them.

Overall, I highly recommend Get Your Mojo Back to any woman looking to reclaim her sexuality after giving birth. It's an empowering and informative read that offers valuable insights and practical tips for improving one's sexual experience and relationship.

Get Your Mojo Back breaks the silence around the feminist topic no one is talking about: how to have enjoyable sex after birth. This book is a rallying call to women to reclaim their sexuality and find sexual fulfilment. Focusing on the physical, mental and practical aspects that can affect your sexual experience and relationship.

This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you very much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

The E-Book could be improved and more user-friendly, such as links to the chapters, no large gaps between words some text written has been typed in red and a cover for the book would be better. It is very document-like instead of a book therefore a star is lost for this.

This would be a useful book for new mothers. There is also information and case studies for women at other stages in the reproductive life cycle.
