This was a very cute, sweet story between Liam Donovan and Tessa Sullivan. Tessa is high on life and love to celebrate every season with exuberance while Liam is very reserved. There’s a saying that opposites attract and if Liam and Tessa are going to find their way together, this will have to be true.

The story was a quick read with very little angst. There was good character depth and even though this was the first story for me in this series, I will definitely be reading more about the Donovan’s.

I was given an ARC by Netgalley for an honest review.

Loved Liam and Tessa's grumpy/sunshine story! Liam isn't really grumpy so much as just trying to re-assimilate to civilian life back with his family. Tessa puts on the front of sunshine due to losing her best friend and taking on that persona early. She definitely has major hurt that makes you ache for her. These two certainly struggle, but that just makes the HEA worth it in the end.

How have I missed this series?
Now I need to go back and read the first book.
I really enjoyed this book. Grumpy/sunshine but really he's not as grumpy as he seems and is lovable to me pretty early.
Tessa is pure sunshine but her backstop will just pull your heartstrings.

Ok! So it's official I'm obsessed with The Donovans Series!
Tempt Me by Samantha Chase was the best small town romance I've read this year!
TM is book #2 in the set and I'm telling y'all now it's phenomenal!

I truly enjoyed Tessa and Liam's story and I loved being back in this small town romance setting!
Really strong characters and good storyline I was captivated right off rip.
Beautifully written and so realistic you have to take a step back and breathe for a hot minute.
Samantha Chase writes with romantic tenderness and emotional heft.
The relationships are portrayed with compassion and honesty. It's amazing.
I was unable to put it down from the moment I started reading.
I can't wait to get my hands on Save Me book 3!

I loved this book! A quick, feel good holiday story.
Tess is an ultra upbeat person, always singing, decorating, and baking. Her past has not been easy, but she is determined to live a happy life. Her new neighbor, Liam, is the complete opposite. He just left the marines after 10 years and has bought a house to be close to his family. Opposites usually attract, but Tess and Liam may be a little too opposite.
The characters are real, fun, and completely relatable. The plot, while predictable, was enjoyable and read smoothly from scene to scene. Highly recommend!
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Tempt Me, part of Samantha Chase’s delicious series about the Donovans, focuses on Liam Donovan and his next door neighbor, Tessa. Liam, as the oldest is used to being in control and telling his siblings and others how they should act and feel. Tessa’s perpetual cheeriness has grated on him since the first time they met, but with her living right next door ignoring her isn’t possible. Ms. Chase has written a story about two people who actually are struggling to adapt to their individual present life circumstances. The manner in which the lessons for change are presented will definitely keep readers engaged and entertained. The Donovan family pub continues to play a huge role in each installment as mother Kate just keeps pushing all her children to find a mate. Romance is definitely in the air as the holidays are approaching. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Chasing Romance for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 3rd in a series, but reads well as a stand alone. I love this family (it seems like a normal imperfect family). I sort of didn't like the way Liam treated Tessa. He sort of bullies her at first, and can't seem to express his own feelings. 3.5 stars

Tempt Me (Kindle Edition) by Samantha Chase
This is a dislike to love story of Liam Donovan and Tessa Sullivan. This book has so many feels - angst, grief, self introspection, wonderful family and friends, laughter, tears and some steamy stuff to get us all to a very HEA. I can't wait for SAVE ME Ryleigh's story. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this book.

Last year, I went through my Samantha Chase Phase. I read probably a dozen of her books. So I was really excited to get this ARC from NetGalley!

Liam is back in town after 12 years in the military. He just wants some peace and quiet. Tessa is his next door neighbor and anything but quiet. And she’s too cheerful. And likes being around people. Nothing like Liam.

Going to admit, this one was more emotional than I was expecting. Tessa is a widow and she is trying to work through her grief as she tries to get back out in the dating world. But it was a good story with a lot of emotions, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Watch for Tempt Me to come out December 6, 2022.

The last thing Liam Donovan expected when he moved into his new house was a neighbor who over decorates for Halloween. So when his neighbor Tessa literally breathes sunshine and rainbows it seems too much for this grumpy retired soldier to handle. Can Tessa bring happiness into the life of a man who has done everything for everyone and never learned how to relax and smell the roses? Or will this be the basis for amusing arguments and divided front yards? With adorable characters that are so much more than sunshine and grumpy this was a great read. Samantha Chase once again has a knack for writing family dramas that her readers cannot put down. I cannot wait for the next in the Donovan clan.
