This book is ideal for riddle lovers as the book is filled with riddles and the beauty of the book is that the riddles also have the answers. The author did a good job of providing riddles on different topics . I recommend this book as it is the perfect companion for parties, game night and just a weekend indoors.
This was a great book of riddles! Our 9 year old loved it as well. It was a bit difficult navigating the electronic version to go back and forth for the answers. I would have rather had the physical book to use if I were to read this again. But great riddles for all ages.
The first part of the book was ok, a little difficult for my 9 and 12 year old. I like the short riddles where they could think about it and try to figure it out. There were some riddles where I didn't even understand the answer. But then when you moved to the other half the book, it was too complicated for my kids. It became a math quiz or the riddles were too long it lost their interest.
Thank you to NetGalley and Zeitgeist for a copy of "The Ultimate Riddle Game for Kids: A Mind-Bending Book to Test Your Logic" in exchange of an honest review.
This says 9-12 but some were confusing even to me. The math section had me running for the hills. But the rest we enjoyed. I like that it can be played alone or with friends.
The Ultimate Riddle Game for Kids is not just for kids. This book will be a hit with kids and adults who like fun and challenges.
I specifically saved this one for when the whole family was together for Thanksgiving. It was a blast!! There’s a good combination of riddles. Some of them I was able to guess super quick, but were great for the younger kids. Others were quite a challenge, regardless of the age. I love the chapter up front that reminds/teaches kids how to logically and systematically solve the puzzles. It was a big hit with all ages and lots of fun. Highly recommend for fun gatherings. Also good if you like solving puzzles on your own.

This was a pretty clever collection of riddles. This book is well aimed at 8-12. However, some of the jokes are a bit old. However, I can see that families would have some fun playing and if, unlike me, you can read in a moving vehicle, this could be good to keep the family entertained on road trips. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a fun book to read. It challenged my mind quite a bit. Some were quite easy after reading them. Some were super hard and had to read them again and again. Last, there were some that I could not figure out at all. Its a fun read and it does challenge the mind. Loved it! The kids will have fun reading this book too and have more fun challenging their parents and siblings.

I asked my then-ten-year-old son, who is gifted intellectually and enjoys riddles, to read this book and he really didn't like it. He said the riddles were "nigh-impossible" and complained that critical information was sometimes missing. I couldn't argue with him as the riddles I looked at did seem to have insufficient information, especially for kids. And I'm a former college professor. My son adamantly refused to go to the second and third sections of the book.
I have an 11 year old who loves jokes and riddles. These were a bit hit with him and quite a few of them stumped me too!
I love books like this to prompt conversation. It's really fun to get a peek into how your kid's mind works to figure things out.
Thank you netgalley for this ARC. I am leaving an 100% honest review.
I found this riddles from this book rather fun. I can see them being a entertaining thing to do after lunch or in between subjects.
A fun book that really makes you think
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback and review.
I was so excited to dive into this book to have something fun to do for a road trip with my kids. This book provided us with entertainment as well as education. We throughly enjoyed this book!
The children enjoyed this book immenselly. The riddles were perfect for their age group. Riddles werre easy to understand
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.
The Ultimate Riddle Game For Kids is a unique brain teaser of a book. There's quite a few stumpers in here, but that's because you have to think outside of the book a bit more than expected. The 9 year old found some to be too hard for him, but we enjoyed it the same.
I really liked that the solution button on the Kindle gave the answer without leaving the page, so we could guess and then find out if we were right without changing locations. Nice little touch.
Following an introduction are chapters entitled Tricky Quick Hitters, Math Monsters and Sneaky Stories and, of course, one called Answers. Although this is called a game, solvers can work on the challenges in a solitaire fashion should they prefer.
Try not to get frustrated. Lateral thinking, an ability to think “outside the box” will be helpful in solving these puzzles.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Zeitgeist for this title. All opinions are my own.
A great compendium of riddles and puzzles that will entertain young and old alike. Useful for a trivia night or entertainment during a trip, Organized in an easy-to-follow way with answers tucked away at the end. Better for upper elementary and older (as the world-play might go over some kids' heads.
A great book of games for children and interesting enough for adults to play along during down time. This is perfect for our trips, especially traveling by plane or when it's time to step away from digital games.
I'm 23 years old and I didn't manage to solve more than 5 riddles. It's very difficult for non-native English speakers. Also when you download the book on kindle and you try to see the solution it shows you the solution of the following riddles not the one you wanted. You should fix it. In general I think that maybe native English speakers would like to buy it but I won't.
Honestly did not have high hopes for this book.
But….I was very wrong. It was actually fun for the entire family! We all raced to see who could figure the riddles out first
A bit of fun for the kids, and even adults are likely to be tripped up by a few as well. Would make a good game to play as a family on a road trip.
