I hadn't hear of Mary before reading this, but I enjoyed it very much! It was a really enjoyable read, and the writing style felt like I was listening to a friend. I enjoy memoirs, and this was not an exception!

Thank you Netgalley and Harper Horizon for the ARC!

Awesome read ! Love Happily Grey blog, and the laid back style personal touch. The book was a great read. To learn about Mary's upbringing and what shaped her as a person and [influencer]. She seems very down to earth, the photos throughout the book add a personal touch, as well as Mary's inviting story telling. The Nashville recommendations are great, as well! Reading the book, you feel like youre chatting with a friend. A great achievement Happily Grey!

Having gone into Happily Grey completely blind, I was delighted that I decided to pick up this title. This is an absolute delightful read. I laughed, I cried and I screamed in anger. Mary Lawless Lee makes you feel like a member of her family, whilst also keeping her distance, so you can admire and watch in awe.

This is a biography that is part memoir/part self help book, but despite the themes explored in the book, it keeps you engaged and makes you wish it doesn’t finish.
