This is a great book to help young children learn about climate change and what we can do to help protect our earth. This story shows that it doesn’t matter how small you are, you can always make a difference. Planting trees, switching to reusable products, and making small changes can help our environment. Teaching children and adults that we don’t need to make huge changes over night to help is so important. Even the smallest things, such as switching to reusable bags or straws, can have an impact. This book's illustrations are beautiful and so well done. They show so much detail and express what the written story tells us.

The end of the book features additional information for parents to help their children understand and appreciate helping the earth.

I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I didn't realize it was part of a series until I had gotten to the back, but then it all made sense since it was so similar to the title of Something Happened In Our Town, another book that I absolutely loved. And I love that this focuses so much on how KIDS can make an impact NOW. THEY can band together and find ways to make a difference! Even if it's something as small as wanting to get reusable trays in the lunchroom instead of throw away trays to eliminate waste. I just love that so much. It will definitely inspire kids, which is so important! Could not recommend this book MORE! Especially with all of the discussion points in the back!

Really cute read and a great introduction to climate change for children. Our library is very likely to purchase this title. The illustrations were also beautifully done.

This book contains adorable illustration and a down to earth, child friendly explanation about climate change and the ways we can take part in efforts to reduce our own impact on the environment. Many children will enjoy and emphasize with the children in the book and it will be a great jumping off point to many future conversations about climate change.

This book includes beautiful illustrations and valuable content for children about climate change and how everyone has the power to make a difference. The story follows a group of students who learn about issues affecting the planet, work together to create a plan to help support the environment, and advocate for change in their school.

As adults, it is easy to overlook how larger complex issues can concern children, but for many children, these worries can be overwhelming. With more information, kids can feel less worried and take positive action. Truly, this is the purpose of this book which it has accomplished. Older kids may question a few missing details, such as the protagonist’s name, but there are so many great facts and ideas included that it's easy to engage with the text. The reader's note also includes fantastic support for any teacher or parent to encourage discussion and further explain the book's purpose. Overall, I think the story is informative and well put together and the illustrations are truly lovely. Any child reading this book will feel capable of making real positive change.

This book gives power to children. Small impacts can lead to great changes, which this book showcases thoroughly. I adored the art and the way the protagonist struggled with resistance and change. It's scary, but she did her best, and she persevered. I would have loved for a focus on companies and bigger corporations, but a school changing this way was a good compromise!
