This book has my whole entire heart!! I felt as though I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie while listening to this audiobook! This was everything and more that I could have wanted and more!!

Gracie is a talented actress and singer but something that happened in her past makes her not want to sing anymore. Her best friend, and herself have created a business called. Party Princess, where Gracie dressed up as a snow princess for events. Her best friend enters an unknowing Gracie into a Christmas contest that will allow her to spend the holiday preforming for a royal family. Prince Nikolas is unbearable grumpy (we love a GOOD grumpy-sunshine trope), but he has a heart of gold under that cold and guarded exterior, of course.

Perfect for fans of Hallmark Christmas Movies & Jenny Holiday!!

I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.

Great standalone holiday read. I enjoyed the characters - Prince Nicholas and Princess Snowflake are a sweet couple navigating through misconceptions, awkward encounters. Eventually they find their own happily ever after. Reminded me of a Hallmark movie

This was a fun, whimsical listen reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. Gracie is a party princess who runs her own party princess business. In an effort to better her business, she has been trying to obtain a loan. When that fails, her friend and business partner signs her up for a contest to help promote San Glacera. Gracie wins the contest and goes to the country to complete her part of the promotions for the contest. She meets Prince Nikolas at one of the street markets and thinks he is the Prince Charming that was hired to accompany her for the festivities. At the same time, Prince Nikolas confuses her for the princess visiting from a neighboring country. When they decide to meet before the first official event, they both quickly realize their mistakes but their perceptions of each other quickly begin to change as they get to know each other better. It was a fun mindless listen and a sweet pick-me-up for when you need a break and just want a happy ending.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Teri Wilson for an audio review copy of this book. This is a fun romance, perfect for fans of Hallmark holiday movies. The main character has a party planning business where she plays a princess. She is hired to help a small European country increase tourism. Naturally, there is romance and a beautiful winter wonderland setting! This is nicely narrated and the story and narration flow smoothly. All in all, a fun holiday read!

Hallmark Christmas movie lovers will ll enjoy this sweet royal romance. My daughter and I listened to the first one by this author so we knew we would love this one. It is a cute, fluffy, cheesy, predictable princess story that is clean and entertaining.

Gracie Clark owns her own business Princess Parties. She dresses up as the Snowflake Princess and entertains children all over. She has a few part-time employees that she'd love to bring on full-time and offer benefits to, but trying to get a bank loan is next to impossible with a business like this. So, her best friend and business partner, Clara enters her into a contest without her knowledge. The prize is a $30,000 check and a week's worth of publicity in association with the royal family of a small European country.

Prince Nick, is the heir to the throne and is anything but Prince Charming. He is known to be grumpy. But to support his little sister, he plays along with having this cartoon princess as part of his favorite annual traditions.
Little did he know that an imaginary princess might be just what's needed to thaw this prince's heart.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced audiobook. The narrator was fantastic.

I know a lot of people will love this book if they are looking for a clean, Christmas, quick read. This had everything you expect when you turn on a hallmark movie. The story is cute. The characters are sweet. It was very fluffy.

I enjoy holiday romance stories and was pleasantly surprised that this book managed to keep some elements of uniqueness in a very saturated genre. Though there are the tropes we expect in Christmas Rom-Com's, i.e. a prince, a girl who doesn't realize she's beautiful, falling in love in a beautiful foreign country, there were some interesting moments, too. I don't think Wilson reinvented the wheel with this one, but she was able to make another Christmas story in a unique way while still including the loved tropes of the genre. The audiobook was well performed and produced and I would recommend both to anyone who enjoys holiday romance.

I am a sucker for Hallmark Christmas romances, and this book fits the bill. Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson is a sweet holiday rom com about a prince finding his princess in the most unlikely of places. Princess Snowflake, aka Gracie Clark, needs a business loan to expand her company out of her small apartment and hire more princesses. The bank doesn't see the value in her company which prompts her business partner/best friend to enter her in a contest for $30,000. The catch is she would travel to the small kingdom of San Glacera and perform as Princess Snowflake in their Royal Winter Wonderland event. What could go wrong?

Gracie is an easy character to like. She loves what she does and is unapologetic about it. Her insecurities stem from her ex and his treatment of her when stage fright ruined their performance. Now she doesn't perform on stage ever. She still sings, but in privacy or at the bedside of sick children. Somehow she has to overcome her fear and perform in San Glacera for the entire kingdom and in front of the royal family. Sparks fly between her and the crowned prince after an incident of mistaken identity. However they soon find they have much in common.

This story was a bit predictable and reminded me of the Netflix movies The Princess Switch. Brittany Pressley delivers another outstanding performance as narrator, infusing heart and drama into her tone. If not for her narration, I'm not sure I would've pushed through to finish the book. If you are looking for a book that will give you all the wintery magic of Christmas, this one is it.

A classic Hallmark story!

Full of sparkle and evergreens, snowflakes and hot cocoa. This was a warm story about independent women holding their own in a business and going to great lengths to succeed. This was a loveable and warm story that gives you the wintery Christmas vibes anyone would want in a Hallmark way.

Do you enjoy holiday movies that are set in small made-up European countries? If so, this is the book for you! This story would make the perfect Hallmark movie and has everything you expect in a Christmas romance.

Gracie Clark runs a party business where she acts the part of a party princess, Princess Snowflake. She can’t get a loan to expand her business, but wins a contest put together by the small European country of San Glacera. She has to travel to the country and help with tourism leading up to Christmas to earn her $30,000 prize. Gracie meets her perfect prince charming but is horrified to discover it is Prince Nikolas, the real prince of San Glacera and not an actor. The two have misunderstandings, but as they get to know each other, will an American party princess and a real European prince be able to get together?

Once Upon a Royal Christmas reminded me a lot of the Netflix A Christmas Prince series and the Princess Switch series. My daughter and I love both of them. I thought Once Upon a Royal Christmas was an enjoyable, charming, and light Christmas audiobook. It’s a good clean read. I also love that Gracie was able to get her spirit to sing back as well.

Brittany Pressley was a good narrator for this audiobook.

I really love a cozy holiday romance. I obsessed with it. I honestly don't think that there is anything better than a cozy romance around the holiday.

Gracie Clark performs as Princess Snowflake at children’s parties. She would love to expand her business, but banks keep turning her down for loans. When the kingdom of San Glacera announces a contest where the winner gets to play a character in the kingdom’s winter activities leading up to Christmas, Gracie’s best friend submits her, and to Gracie’s surprise, she wins! Prince Nikolas is not a fan of his family’s idea to increase tourism in their country, especially once he sees the winner is someone who pretends to be a princess at for children. Nevertheless, he will go along with the plan. Can Gracie win him over?

This book has everything you could want from a Hallmark story and even includes some cute puppies! I highly recommend this for someone looking for a heartwarming story. Brittany Pressley did a wonderful job narrating the audiobook. A saccharine sweet holiday romance!

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an ARC of this book.

This book was heart warming and sweet. It is filled with lots of cozy holiday details, complete with hot chocolate and cuddly puppies. What it doesn’t have is any true surprises. It’s entirely predictable all the way to the happily ever after. This is a cute light & festive holiday romance.

This was my first Teri Wilson's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Royal Reads Series, a Royal Romance. Prince Nikolas, and Princess Snowflake Gracie's story is funny, sweet, and heartwarming. Nikolas, Prince of San Glacera, is very handsome, and enigmatic. Gracie, who runs a children’s party business as Princess Snowflake., is beautiful, kind, and feisty. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. The supporting characters are great. Gracie's friend Clara, is supportive, and caring. I loved the family bond in the story. This is an excellent Hallmark Christmas Romance. Brittany Pressley did a great job with the narration. I received a copy of this book through NetGalley, a Dreamscape Media production, for an honest review.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson is exactly what I needed: a fun-filled romantic comedy about Christmas! When Gracie wins a trip to another country to be there "pretend princess", she thinks it is a great way to help her small business playing princess for parties and events. What she doesn't expect is to find romance with a bona-fide prince. Such a fun story with lots of sweet moments. It really was just what I needed as we get closer and closer to Christmas. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. The audiobook was excellent.

Teri Wilson never disappoints for a sweet Hallmark read. This one features a prince and a party princess with a little mistaken identity and a wintery cozy romance.
The narrator, Brittany Pressley, is a favorite of mine for the romance genre. I love her tone and the thread of sass that comes through.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Once Upon a Royal Christmas. This story is pure, sweet escapism, with a prince who’s lost his smile and a pretend princess who helps him find it.

Failed singer Gracie Clark owns a company that provides party princesses to a variety of events, but her life is turned upside down when she wins a contest to perform in a far away kingdom, for a royal family.

Famously private Prince Nicolas of San Glacera can’t catch a break. Labeled as grumpy by the press, nothing he does seems to win over the public, until he’s spotted in a snowball fight with a fake princess.

As Nicolas and Gracie grow close, his heart starts to thaw, but Gracie worries about the future, knowing she only plays princess, but could never move across the world to be a real one. Could she?

I really liked how the characters developed through the story, especially Nicolas slowly thawing out and using his smile. And how Gracie’s confidence grew over time.

This story provides a frosted bubble of happiness and I definitely recommend reading or listening to it. I receive an audiobook copy from the publisher via NetGalley. The enjoyment is all my own.
