For those who enjoy 'The Prince and Me' mixed with 'A Christmas Prince' this is a great book to pick up.

We have a business owner who works as a party princess who is entering a contest to save her business. Before you know it she's going to a palace and finding out that she has to sing in front of thousands of people (which is one of her biggest fears). And who is there to make things more difficult at first but eventually grow on each other ... a prince!

Overall, very cute but a little rushed. I wanted to really root for the couple but I did not feel very connected to them. The storyline is sweet and reminds me a lot of a romantic Christmas Hallmark movie. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a sweet Christmas story. If you are a fan of the royal Christmas movie or stories you will really enjoy this. Overcoming the obstacles of different countries, status, and general differences are a little rushed but I still enjoyed this story.

This book is fun and joyful and really feels like a Hallmark Christmas movie brought to the page.
Then I found out it was actually published by Hallmark! So it definitely fits. This book is everything you would want in a Hallmark romance novel.

Once Upon A Royal Christmas follows Gracie Clark, the owner of a "party princess" company in which she plays a princess at childrens birthday parties and other events. Gracie wins a contest to be the party princess for San Glacera, a small royal kingdom, with... you guessed it a royal prince of marriageable age who is anti-party princesses at royal engagements. Romance ensues.

This book is perfect for anyone looking for a truly joyful novel about Christmas and princesses and love...or a Hallmark movie in book form. ;)

I actually listened to the audiobook form of this book and it was very well done. The narrator they chose was perfect at bringing the holiday joy and romance to life.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and Hallmark Publishing for the advanced copy to review.

This was really cute. I was looking for a sweet holiday romance to read before Christmas and this fit the bill. This was my first novel from Teri Wilson and I really liked her writing style. The development of the romantic relationship seemed pretty natural and believable, which was great because this tends to be my biggest gripe with most romantic contemporaries. I thought the ending was really sweet. This had all the makings of a magical winter wonderland coupled with some royals to make things elevated and dramatic. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was so sweet. It would make a perfect Hallmark Christmas movie. The book gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes a bit. I love royal romances add in puppies and I could not put it down. Gracie is a sweet and so fun. Nikolas is a hidden cinnamon roll. They have such chemistry. If you love royal romances and Christmas romances, pick this one up. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio arc in exchange my honest review.

Gracie Clark, runs a children’s party business and performs as "Princess Snowflake." She wants to expand her business, but she needs a loan and keeps being turned down. Her best friend and business partner, enters her in a contest to win $30,000 if she is selected to play a character in the annual Ice Village festivities and accompany the royal family to holiday events in San Glacera. Prince Nikolas is the heir to the throne and while he is away on a royal activity, his family is convinced by his sister to hold the contest to raise tourism. They depend on tourism and it is on the downward spiral, so they need to do something. Of course, Gracie wins, but can she also win the heart of the prince?

Once Upon a Royal Christmas is a fun, Hallmark story where a commoner from the US meets, falls in love and eventually gets her happily ever after with a prince from a small European Country, San Glacera. Gracie has a heart of gold and loves making children happy. She wants them all to see and celebrate whatever is unique about themselves. She has some sadness in her past, surrounding a previous relationship as well as her talent as a singer, and she needs to work through it if she wants to find happiness. This is a beauty and the beast type trope, with Nikolas being a grump and not wanting anything to do with the fake princess. As they get to know each other, due to forced proximity, they begin to see different sides of each other. The rest of the Royal Family and staff are happy to push them together and they finally find their happily ever after. This is a bit of a predictable story, but I did enjoy it with it's fun characters, humour and the dogs who also play a part in getting them together. The audiobook is narrated by Brittany Pressley. I have become accustomed to her narration and I enjoyed her performance of this story.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me the ARC Audiobook.. This was a very cute story of a small business owner and a small kingdom helping each other during the holidays. It had all the feel good details and fun Christmas activities! A light, magical read!!

Warm, cute, full of love and joy. Perfect rom-com for the holiday season. I really enjoyed this. My favourite thing about it was that although it had a lot of the cliche rom-com aspects, the main character in this story liked each other and continued to grow in the like. They had their initial "I don't think so moment" and I rolled my eyes thinking here we go, but instead they went with the fact that they liked each other and spent their time together falling in love. It was refreshing and such a sweet love story for the holiday season. Not to mention, the supporting cast was sweet as well too. No sabotaging or spiteful characters. That alone is worth the stars. Great narration by Brittany Pressley as well.

Thank you NetGalley, Hallmark Publishing and Dreamscape Media for the arc.

Pure and utterly delightful Christmas romance! Seriously, this book made me crave hot chocolate on more than one occasion. Teri Wilson is an amazing writer, breathing new life into classic Christmas romance tropes. The narrator did a phenomenal job, too, with so many characters and accents.

When I saw the cover and publisher of Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson, I knew it would be a fun and frothy Christmas story, and it was exactly that. A welcome escape from stress at work and heavier novels - literally a Hallmark movie in book form.

Gracie Clark is a princess ... not a real one, but her character Princess Snowflake is very popular at children's parties. She wants to grow her fledgling business to provide good jobs for her young women employees, but no bank will provide the loan she needs.

Nikolas of San Glacera is a prince, a real one, next in line for the throne of his small (fictional) country that's a winter wonderland. Tourism, the primary source of income, is declining so the royal family offers a contest with a $30,000 prize. Need I say more?

The plot of this Grumpy + Sunshine romance is predictable, but also included a few surprises to keep it interesting. It's chock full of Christmas traditions, likeable characters, and cute dogs ... a sweet and heartwarming tale.

The audiobook is narrated by Brittany Pressley whose voice is well suited for a Hallmark princess story.

Thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this fun beginning to my holiday reading.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas was the perfect was to kick off the holidays and my marathon of holiday romcoms.

Gracie is a children’s party princess who wins a contest to bring her Princess Snowflake to the country of San Glacera during their Christmas festivities.

The grumpy-sunshine relationship between Gracie and Prince Nikolas of San Glacera was everything I wanted in a romcom. I especially loved reading as Nikolas slowly melts from the abominable snow prince as he gets to know Gracie.

The scene in the Christmas Tree Maze was by far my favorite in this book, and for once I didn’t mind that the author included and epilogue because I definitely wanted to know what happened to these two after the final chapter.

I listened to Once Upon a Royal Christmas as an audiobook, and the narrator, Brittany Pressley, did a fantastic job keeping my attention throughout the book.

Just as a disclaimer, I'm actually not a fan of Hallmark movies, BUT I'm unfamiliar with the publishing side of the company, so I thought I'd try reading this book. I liked this book because it had royalty themes, but I loved this book because it's a foodie romance. The descriptions of the hot chocolate alone was enough to make me hungry and craving. The romance had strangers-to-lovers and secret royalty tropes. Lastly, I loved the focus on Christmas traditions in this novel.

I listened to the audio version of this book. Once Upon a Royal Christmas is a fun read. If it hasn't been optioned by Hallmark movies it certainly should be. It is the lighthearted story of a young woman who makes a living as a party princess. She wins a contest and goes to a foreign kingdom. The plot was good and the narrator did a fine job. I look forward to reading more books by Teri Wilson.

So grab your phone and have a great listen while decorating cookies, the house, or whatever!

I was given a copy of this audio book by the publisher with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.

"She's a special person but then I think you already know that."
"Yes I do."

A fairy tale comes to life in Once Upon A Royal Christmas by cuteness overload romcom author Teri Wilson

Grace is Princess Snowflake; royalty to the children she performs for at parties and hospitals. The gig isn't paying the bills but now she's won a contest to perform for a royal family.

Grumpy Prince Nikolas is aghast at the palace hosting a reality contest even if it helps tourism for his country. Then he meets a sweet woman. He hopes he can spend time with her instead of Princess Snowflake. Wait til he finds out they are the same person! Narrator Brittany Pressley was spectacular switching from grumpy prince to sunshine princess. Extra points for the puppies!

Favorite Line: "Never be afraid to melt."

I received a free copy of this audiobook from the publishers via #NetGalley for afair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

Gracie plays a princess and makes a business out of doing so. She embodies the persona of a snowflake ambassador in that she gives children lessons about the science and wonder of snowflakes in a party setting. She is charming, warm, and sweet as she tries to deal with financially difficult challenges to grow her business and give her employees benefits. With the push from her assistant, Gracie wins a contest to play her role at a real castle in a small snowy country where she meets the prince and has a life changing experience.
This was a sweet Hallmark story that contained children, puppies, hot chocolate, cinnamon rolls, and tiaras! It visually played out in my head like a movie and I enjoyed it!

If you are a fan of Hallmark movies, you MUST read this one! You get all the vibes and it’s just so perfect. I’m always in for a story with Royals, especially around Christmas, there is something magical about it and I just love it.

Once Upon A Royal Christmas tells the story of Gracie Clark, also known as Princess Snowflake. She’s everything you can expect from a fake princess performing for children’s parties; she’s sweet, always looks happy, and is loved by pretty much everyone. Everyone, except the real Prince of San Glacera, Prince Nikolas, who is not impressed at all by this woman "playing dress-up" and he is definitely not on board for her to spend the Holidays with him and his family. But there is more to Gracie Clark than a big fluffy dress and glitter, and maybe, the real prince and the fake princess are more alike than they expected...

If you enjoy the grumpy/sunshine vibes like me, you’ll just fall for those two wonderful characters. Prince Nikolas turned out to be oh so sweet! And despite her name, Princess Snowflake can definitely melt everyone’s heart. The story was sweet, fun and easy to enjoy. If you are looking for something light that is sure to not disappoint and has all the Christmas vibes, you really can’t go wrong with that book.

Grab a blanket, a cup of hot cocoa, get cozy and enjoy your reading!

Thanks to Dreamscape Media, Hallmark Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I really really liked this audiobook! I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for royal, Hallmark type stories! The fact that this is a Christmas story is icing on the royal cake. I enjoyed both the hero and heroine (Prince Nikolas and Gracie).
This book was well written and kept me interested from the first chapter to the last. It was funny sometimes and other times pulled at my heartstrings. I enjoyed the sweetness of this story around the holiday season. The narrator did a great job.
