A hallmark movie in book form! Everything you love about Hallmark movies was present in this book. I fell in love with the party princess right along with the prince. It was sweet and believable. I will be looking for more books from this author.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas was the perfect holiday romance to help get me into the holiday season. When party princess, Gracie Clark, wins a contest to appear in the Ice Village festivities to help boost tourism in San Glacera she meets her Prince Charming.

I always love holiday romances at this time of year and this was the perfect on to start off the holiday season. I loved the characters and the San Glacera setting. The romance between Prince Nikolas and Gracie was the hate to love relationship that I always love and it had me hooked from the moment they met. This is your perfect Hallmark type romance and I loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fun, light hearted holiday romance!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an audiobook copy of this book!

It was a cute story, but very predictable. It was a good book to listen to if you aren't able to overly concentrate.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas felt like I was listening to a fairly tail coming to life. It was magical, sweet, and heartwarming. With this being my first Teri Wilson book, I can’t wait to read more from her in the future. You get Royal Family and Grumpy x Sunshine wrapped up into one during the holiday season. With this being a typical holiday movie from Hallmark, I enjoyed the little twist they threw into this story with the Main Female Character winning a contest to perform alongside the royal family during their Holiday Celebration.

The narrator did a fantastic job and made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Thanks, Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for sharing a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest opinion.

Just what you want.

A dreamy fairy tale story.

A sweet clean romance perfect for Christmas.

Teri Wilson crafted a story that is filled with charm and charming characters that are easy to like.

It was easy to whil away the afternoon listening to a great story. All the whole wondering what is going to happen next.

Gracie and Nick are perfect. She's a sweet, strong and independent business owner. But she struggling hence the reason she ends up in San Glacera.

Prince Nick appears to be grumpy and moody. And he kind of is but he can't help but show is nicer side when Gracie is around.

She just kind of grows on you.

This is a perfect fairy tale story.

I enjoyed how everything worked out for Gracie to stay in San Glacera.

I couldn't help but wonder and that Clara might get her own story.

Although I really, really liked the story the narration was hard to like. The men's voices didn't seem real. And the voices of the locals and the Royals sounded silly.

I received a complimentary copy through Netgalley.

My review will appear on Amazon and Good Reads.

Another royal romance. Seriously there can never be enough of them so keep them coming. This book was one of the best reads of my year. Teri Wilson is definitely one of the best when it comes to penning a royal romance and you won't be disappointed in this, trust me.

Prince Nick has a problem. For one, his face is plastered all over the news. That's bad enough. But his problem is with his family and their newly developed hair brained idea. In order to increase tourism, they have opted to invite a commoner to win a trip to the palace to take part in all of the Christmas traditions. Bringing a commoner into his home is one thing...but this person is completely ridiculous. She's a party princess. She wears over the top gowns and a crown as fake as his excitement of this whole idea.

This was a fun holiday read that you definitely need to pick up. There were so many laugh out loud moments that I was constantly smiling.

This book is appropriate for all ages.

What a fun listen to prep me for the holidays! Gracie owns a party princess business and she's seeking to get additional funding for expanding the business. Her business partner enters Gracie (AKA Princess Snowflake) in a contest offered by a small principality in the Alps. Gracie is apprehensive because the appearance requires her to sing in public, something she hasn't done since freezing on stage in a previous performance. To make matters worse, she begins to fall for the Crown Prince when she arrives. A typical romance story, but the descriptions of the winter wonderland that is this small country were so realistic. It really put me in the Christmas spirit! Check it out!

Once Upon a Royal Christmas is the story of a party princess named Gracie that wins a contest to star in the annual Ice Village festivities in San Glacera. When Gracie meets Nikolas she doesn’t realize he is Prince Nikolas of San Glacera. Nikolas is still reeling from finding out that his former girlfriend sold a story about him to the tabloids, calling him cold. The more time Nikolas and Gracie spend together, the more Gracie’s sweet innocence thaws Nikolas’ cold heart. This book gave me all the warm feelings of the holiday. It is such a good story and so well written. The characters are so likable that it doesn’t take long to get sucked into the story. I listened the audiobook and thought Brittany Pressley’s narration was perfect. She really brought the story to life.

💭Thoughts:
This is a sweet, cheesy, closed door romance. Gracie, an American, owns a party business where she dresses as Princess Snowflake. She’s in need of money to help give her employees stability and benefits. She’s convinced by a friend to enter a contest in a small European village. This is where we meet Prince Nikolas of San Glacera.

Gracie and Prince Nikolas grew on me quickly. They are grumpy/sunshine perfection and I enjoyed seeing how they evolved throughout the story. It was a bit of insta-love since the timeline is only about a week long.

The narration was lovely and really helped bring the characters to life, specifically Gracie. I recommend for anyone looking for a quick, fun, cheesy holiday romance. It’ll put you in the holiday spirit!

I am familiar with this author having written many stories that have become Hallmark Channel movies. Hallmark Channel movies are something very near and dear to me, and I always love being able to read a story that has a similar vibe to it. There is something about it that feels nostalgic and wholesome. I really loved the premise of this story and the author did not disappoint. I was invested from the first chapter, and it was wonderful t be able to listen to this book instead of just reading it. I really loved this story, and wonder if one day this will become a movie on the Hallmark Channel. If it does I will definitely be watching it. Thank you NetGalley for an arc of this audiobook. I didn't get approved until after the publication day which is why this review is going up slightly late.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson might just be my new favorite book!!

Let’s start this off by my saying that I LOVE love, romcoms, and GLITTER. And Princess Snowflake is the embodiment of all these things!! Gracie Clark, who is a full-time Professional Princess, often dresses up as Princess Snowflake, and spreads cheer amongst children whose parents hire Party Princess for events.

BUT Gracie has plans for expansion and to support her enthusiastic staff, seeking to provide benefits and a living wage, to empower these staff members. That’s where her failed business loan attempts lead her to the holiday contest being thrown by the royal family in San Glacera.

Will Gracie be able to achieve all of her hopes and dreams while spreading glitter and cheer?

Read this book, and you’ll be instantly transported into a Hallmark Holiday Movie, in the Best possible way.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this advanced listener’s copy!! (And introducing me to a new favorite author).

The description of the book clearly identifies Once Upon a Royal Christmas as being from Hallmark. The cover, sparkly and snowflake adorned, underscores the direction the book will take. If it is possible to get diabetes from a book, this one is sure to spawn it in spades! From the outset through the conclusion, the story is sugary sweet in the extreme. Teri Wilson delivers a story perfectly crafted for Hallmark. I would expect it to join their holiday lineup soon.

Gracie is too perfect. She is (again) sweet in everything she does. Her wide-eyed innocent approach to everything she sees or encounters is a bit extreme, more than I would expect from someone who had attended the likes of Julliard. But it is part of the whole Hallmark formula, so it works.

The characters are not deep or well-developed. Their relationship is a standard Hallmark 5-second romance. An enduring work of literature, this is not. However, since it wasn’t meant to be, it should not be judged that way.

The story is fun, romantic escapism at its best. “Princess” meets Prince. Beauty meets “The Beast”. Nearly every fairytale is represented in one way or another, including modern ones.
If one loves Hallmark Christmas movies, this is certainly the right book for the holidays.

If you like Hallmark movies, you’ll find this to be a fun read. It did drag through the middle for me and the ending seemed rushed. It was cheesy at times. If you are looking for a feel-good, light read, then this one is for you!

Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson was the perfect lighthearted holiday listen, especially for Hallmark movie lovers. Was it predictable? Yes. Was it cheesy at times? Yes. Was it everything you'd expect from a wholesome Christmas classic royal meets average person who gets their fairytale ending? Yes. I loved this Beauty and The Beast, grumpy/sunshine, royal/regular love story. It truly would make a fantastic movie too. The narrator was absolutely perfect for this story, she had such a whimsical flow which fit Princess Snowflake beautifully.

This is one of those books that I can easily imagine could become a very successful Netflix Original Christmas movie. It is so cute and has an original enough plot that it could be something many people could enjoy. There are so many cute moments between Nick and the Snow Princess that made my heart flutter. It was just an overall cute and wholesome read from start to finish. Will definitely recommend and hope that I do get to see this in movie form one day!

I loved this book. It was exactly what I wanted in a Christmas story. It was cute, adorable, somewhat cheesy, and had a happily ever after. If you've watched A Christmas Prince on Netflix, then you will love this book. It really has that Christmas magic that I just love. Seriously, just wonderful.

Gracie runs a party business. Her presence of Princess Snowflake charms the children. She has tried to get a bank loan to help her business, but no one seems to have faith in a princess. Her best friend enters her in a contest for the Christmas holidays. The prize money will help her business. Gracie wins and will open the festivities with Prince Nikolas of San Glacera. The town needs to draw people to the festivities and Gracie, Princess Snowflake, warms their hearts. I loved this story. The royal family was proud and loving, especially Nikolas’ sister. Loved the dog. Gracie warms the hearts of the town, but especially Prince Nikolas. Great holiday story. I felt like I was walking through the snowflakes, drinking hot chocolate, and enjoying the town and it’s people.

Do you like saccharine Hallmark movies about a commoner and a royal prince falling in love? Do you like silly costumes, party princesses, grumpy/sunshine pairings, and enemies to lovers? If you answered yes, you'll enjoy this super cute, only slightly cheesy (except for the breakfast fondue!) holiday romance. It's a romp through the snow in the best way possible.

The character development was lovely. There was one part that felt really out of character for Gracie (donating the prize money), especially considering how her story arch started, but I was able to overlook it for the greater enjoyment.
