Different, surprising, easy to read. Enjoyed this book and was very easy to read. Was hooked by the quirky blurb and it didn’t disappoint

I had the pleasure of delving into the world of "Snap Out of It" by Maddie Dawson, and let me tell you, it was a delightful and heartwarming read. With its quirky humor and warmhearted storytelling, this book had me hooked from the very beginning.

Billie Slate, our resilient protagonist, has gone through three marriages and knows firsthand the trouble love can bring. But she's reinvented herself as the Heartbreak Bunny, a performance artist who helps heal those who have been burned by love. With a hop in her step, she whisks away sad mementos from past relationships, bringing a positive and supportive touch to those looking to move forward.

Maddie Dawson once again showcases her talent for creating relatable and endearing characters. Billie is a main character you can't help but get behind and cheer for. She's strong when she needs to be, and her journey to finding love is thoroughly enjoyable. The premise of her unique career as the Heartbreak Bunny adds an extra layer of charm to this already whimsical story.

What impressed me most about this book was how much I enjoyed the story of a 60-year-old woman, her family, and her quest for love. It proves that age is just a number, and that there's no expiration date on finding happiness. Billie's interactions with her daughter and her "found" family were heartwarming, adding depth and emotion to the narrative.

"Snap Out of It" is a cute and unique read that captures the essence of what women's fiction should be. The mix of quirky humor, magical elements, and emotional wisdom creates a delightful blend that will leave you thoroughly entertained. Despite the unconventional elements, they only serve to enhance the story and make it more captivating.

I received a complimentary copy of "Snap Out of It" from NetGalley. I am grateful for the opportunity to have experienced this heartwarming and uplifting tale. If you're in the mood for a funny, warmhearted novel about love, growth, and finding oneself, I highly recommend giving this book a try.

I love the books that Maddie Dawson writes! They always have the most charming characters with a sprinkle of magic. Snap Out of It continues that trend, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic comedies.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.

I was drawn to this book's hilarious description; I mean, give me a 50+ sarcastic woman fixing people's heartbreak in a bunny costume any day! But while the book is heartwarming and very funny, it deals with themes of hope, heartbreak, and learning to move on in a sentimental yet wise way. The characters are so lovable and fiercely strong, and I was rooting for Billie the whole way through. This was an incredible story to read, relatable for those young and old -- Billie may be 50+, but we've all been touched by heartbreak at one point or another.

Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for the delightful ARC!

I received a complimentary egalley of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I normally really love Maddie Dawson’s books, so I was excited to dig into this one. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t clicking with me, so I decided not to finish once I got about 20% in. I love the idea of an older protagonist, but it just wasn’t landing with me. Definitely worth a try for fans of Dawson.

I was very hopeful about this book. I thought that the premise was very interesting and different from other books. I had a really difficult time getting into the story and characters however. I felt like the story and main character did t hold my attention and made it difficult to power through the book.

In Maddie Dawson's hilarious and heartfelt novel, the bestselling author of Matchmaking for Beginners presents a delightful story of love, growth, and second chances. Billie Slate, aka the Heartbreak Bunny, is a resilient and lovable character who reinvents herself as a performance artist, offering solace and healing to those wounded by love. Dawson's quirky and warmhearted storytelling shines through once again, making it impossible not to cheer for Billie as she navigates life's ups and downs on her journey to finding love.

The only thing I can say about 'Snap Out of It' is that it was quirky and had its fun moments but it also dragged in places. Although I received an e-Arc of the book, I ended up listening to the audiobook version instead and I think that was a good idea because otherwise I might have taken a while to finish the book. I won't say whether I liked/disliked the book...it was alright but not something I would go back to read again.

I received an e-Arc of the book from the publisher Lake Union Publishing and the author Maddie Dawson via NetGalley.

The Heartbreak Bunny is something that Billie invents to help those with a broken heart deal with the residual STUFF from past relationships. The idea takes hold with Billie dealing with the resulting drama but sees that love has much more up its furry sleeve.

I enjoyed reading this book and feel like everyone can relate to either Billie or her clients. As the heartbreak bunny she has a million dollar idea and is bouncing her way to the top! A fun, easy read that has you rooting for the Heartbreak Bunny.

This book has been chosen for my book clubs April pick and I’ve already read it thanks to Netgalley!
Billie is a relatable character after suffering many heartbreaks and wants to help people to “snap out of it” which is a piece of advice that I could do with following myself!

This was my fifth book by Maddie Dawson. While it wasn’t my favorite of all her books, I enjoyed it. This story is full of whimsy and interesting quirky characters who come with their own complexity. It’s refreshing to read a story about a 60 year old MC and follow along as you hope for her HEA.
