The Journey of The Little Prince by Corinne Delporte, illustrated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, translated by Carine Laforest is a good retelling for the classic one. It is so addicted and I need a sequel

While I love the little prince and this was a pleasant chance to revisit, I feel like it has sacrificed the timeless quality of the book and the story to turn it into a conversation. For young children, I think the questions asked in this retelling are good, but without the rest of the story of the Little Prince it feels more like an education book on mannners and judgement and not something to return to again and again.
I feel like it has taken the message of the little prince, and distorted it where all we experience as the readers is being told what to feel, rather than letting us interpret it ourselves.

I have always loved The Little Prince since I was a kid. It is such a beautiful story. Seeing The Journey of The Little Prince put a smile on my face. It is so beautifully illustrated. I loved that it explained the key points of the story like appearances and inner beauty to knowledge and experience. This is perfect for any child and adult who have loved the story of The Little Prince.

Thank you NetGalley and Choette Publishing for the opportunity to read this classic tale.
The Little Prince is a little traveller, journeying to meet new friends and have adventures. He meets those he likes and doesn’t. There is a lesson after each littke journey.
I liked it a bit. I did find it reminiscent of those old after school specials, and that I did not love.
Happy 80th anniversary Little Prince!

I liked the idea behind this book but it wasn’t one that really worked for me as it stands
I think that this book would need to be read with the original to get more out of it
The illustrations were really nice and worked with the story but the number are limited as the book is only really a short explanation about what goes on in the original story
It is 3 stars from me – may come back to it after reading the original story

this is like a short retelling about the original The Little Prince, but with additional explanation about some values owned by each of the man he met on each planet. it's interesting, actually. I would like to read more about this.
