I got this on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!

A lovely picture book about how all of us are different, but also the same! Focuses on how although we are different, we still experience the same things and have the same feelings sometimes and in some situations, and that these are entirely okay!

'All of Us' is such a beautiful book both visually and in how it communicates our commonality. It speaks so simply about universal feelings and shared experiences no matter where we come from. It celebrates diversity and encourages tolerance and acceptance. The pictures are truly beautiful and we lingered on these for a long while, discussing what we noticed and what they told us. They are truly supportive of the text.

I would use this book over and over with children of all ages. A great starting point for brilliant discussion and personal development work. I will certainly be purchasing at least one hard copy of this.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I say gather yourself and everyone you know. Read this book with the kids! This is so beautiful and speaks exactly what we all need to hear. The book is so beautiful inside out. Not everything needs to be perfect. Let’s learn to accept who we are and know that what we feel is valid.

The kid who’s going to read this book and the adult who will be reading this book to the kid, I say, consider yourself lucky.

Thank you, Princeton Architectural Press, for the advance reading copy.

Great message and unique illustration. A refreshing new take on your typical children’s books. Not too long, makes for a great bedtime read!

This is a pretty good story! I like the message of everyone dealing with things and having similar feelings. The illustrations are really lovely. I do feel like some words used are too sophisticated for a young child, I don’t know if they’d fully grasp or understand those words or the general story/message. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.

I love the illustrations in this story! They are so whimsical and I found myself zooming in to look at the details of each person. This story would be great for a diversity lesson for young students!

Loved the particular style of the illustrations. Great for teaching kids about community and how even though we are different we are dealing with similar situations and emotions.

This book celebrates how we, kids in this instance, are all alike in so many ways. The author acknowledges universal actions and feelings that connect people as humans. Interesting illustrations accompany the text. Along with the painted artwork, there are moments when photos come into play. Sometimes these are rather playful as, for example, when Einstein’s head is put on a drawn figure.

This book offers a nice way to encourage tolerance and acceptance without actually naming those terms. It is a “show” and not “tell” text which makes it feel more authentic.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Princeton Architectural Press. All opinions are my own.

A book about how we are all the same. It goes through emotions and things people all experience with different people/drawings illustrating them. Nice but not a story if that is what you are looking for - more just nice words about everyone being the same.

A beautiful world was created for this story. Perfect for children learning about diversity, community, emotional health, and acceptance of others.
As we fall in love with the illustrations, we journey to a world with all different people. Living in different places, and experiencing different things. Showing us that no matter how different we are, there is something much more beautiful that unites us. Being humans.

All of Us is a story filled with adorable illustrations. It will make your heart flip with joy. The lessons this story teaches are endless.

I thought that this was a good book and the illustrations were brilliant!

The illustrations really worked with the story and brought the book to life

I loved reading the book with my five-year-old daughter and we had a talk about the different people at her school and it is lovely to see what a mix of nationalities and backgrounds there are

It is 5 stars from me for this one, very highly recommended!

All of Us is a simple and straightforward book about how there's diversity all around us, but we all share a wide array of emotions from happiness to fear no matter where we're from. The art style was also very different and interesting and I think it added to charm of the book.
