Ariella Talix is a master at describing MMF relationships in her writing. In this scenario, our protagonist, Caro, is the privileged sibling of the governor and first lady of Kentucky. She was born in New York City but now resides in Kentucky. She dumped Nash because she falsely suspected him of cheating. Caro is in the governor's entourage at the Kentucky Derby when she runs across her love again. Quickly reuniting, Nash and Caro nevertheless mourn their third child, Greyson. When they get in touch with him, they learn he is set to be married, so they travel to California to stop the ceremony. In the next months, they experience a wide range of bizarre and unpleasant events, but they also grow closer to one another and have many passionate encounters. They've all matured and discovered a fresh way to coexist while continuing to produce music and do good in the world.

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance story. This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed her writing style as well as her attention to details. This is a steamy story that comes to life with each page I read. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world right from the start. The are engaging and had me coming back for more. They have great chemisty and growth throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. You do not want to miss what happens in this second chance story. I highly recommend this book.

This book fell flat for me. The spice was there, but there were so many different plots going on, it was hard to follow. Also, the point of view constantly changed without any type of segue, which made it often confusing to figure out who was talking or thinking.

Everything with the main characters felt extremely rushed. Even though there was serious history between them and a lot that needed worked out, they all just jumped back into it without really addressing the past.

I really, really liked the racehorses/farm storyline and if the author had focused on that, and fleshed out the rest of the story, it would have been successful. But too many things going on, and lack of editing made it hard for me to enjoy.

Caro, Grayson, and Nash were much more than just a band, but things went terribly wrong. Now 10 years later, they have a chance to make things happen again.

This was an interesting read. I liked the characters and the settings. I genuinely wanted them all to get together and be happy. The writing style itself was not my favorite. I also had a hard time with some of the dialogue just feeling off. I did wanted more conflict throughout. The spice however, knocked this up a star for me! I pibe a good MMF and those scenes were fun and actually realistic.

All in all, a good read. Check it out if you love spicy MMF se and chance.

Caro, Nash and Greyson

Enjoyed their relationship and story. Spicy times aplenty!

There was a lot going on and seemed to move quickly. Some of the storylines weren’t quite believable but still enjoyable. I say just go with it and enjoy!

I received an ARC for free and this is my honest review.

The constant change in POV was a distraction. Overall, the story kept moving. There were a few humorous moments. I just feel like I've seen this type of book done before, with better defined characters. I will look into this author. Thanks NetGally for the ARC copy

I enjoyed this book immensely. It's well-written, nicely edited, and it's a fun story.

The characters' personalities are well-developed, and the storyline takes some interesting twists and turns.

I'm glad I read The Rule of 3 that comes before it, but I don't think that is crucial to enjoying this one.

There is plenty of steam for those looking for it. But the scenes are tastefully done. Kudos for that. Of the three MCs, my favorite was Grey. Somehow he really got to me. I loved his relationship with his horse. Plenty of humor there too.

Thank you for the advance copy. These opinions are my own and freely given.

I liked the concept of the book but found it very difficult to follow whose POV we were in throughout the chapter as it chopped and changed all the time. 2.5 stars.
