I couldn't get into this book, but it was still well written and apparently part of a six book series. But once, again, not the book for me.

Interesting story. I’m not sure English is Mr. Tuzcu’s first language because the writing seems….clunky, for lack of a better word.

Author Aydin Tuzco created a wonderful world filled with vibrant characters in Stillborn Bastards. This books was everything I hoped it be, full of adventure and a fantastical story. It really is a wonderful start to the Jonast the Crazy series and I can't wait for more.

this was a great start to the Jonast the Crazy series, it was what I was looking for in this type of book. The characters were what I was hoping they would be. The plot worked so well in this story and I was hooked from the beginning to the end. The time-period was what I was hoping for and it left me wanting more in this series.

"The air here seemed to be thinner and smelled better. Maybe that's how it felt to him. For this Arab of Saba, who was a slave at the hands of the Lydians, every free breath was considered fragrance, even in the midst of the foulest odors. He was so grateful to Jonast that he could die for him. Jonast, who had given that perverted human butcher what he deserved, was Zayd's hero. For the first time in his life, he had been glad that a person had died."
