A fun one-time hookup at a party quickly turns to more for Leanne Vanderpol and Trevor Montgomery. Leanne has her eyes on a city council seat and Trevor has been waiting for something to come along and give him purpose. The two launch into a marriage aimed at giving Leanne the aesthetics she will need to run for office and the arrangement offers Trevor a place to live and financial perks. It just so happens Leanne is all the whole keeping a very witchy secret. Will their relationship come crumbling down when Trevor learns the truth or will they make magic?

This was a pretty cute story. I found parts of it a little over the top and/or predictable such as how “perfect” and attentive Trevor is depicted to be and how under the radar the magic was and then wasn’t. I still found it to be a sweet story and would read it again. I recommend for those looking for a sweet magical romance.

This is such a cute set of books. I mean witches that can’t tell anyone they’re witches? Including their non-witchy loved ones? Hilarious.

I gotta say some of the situations these ladies find themselves in is just too much. In this installment we follow one of these witches down the path of politics - both mortal and witchy politics! It’s hilarious honestly - the way she mumbles about hexing those that are acting less than appropriately (you know without giving away anything) and how I know in her shoes I’d be the same way.

We’ve got a marriage of convenience that goes on and that’s when the real trouble starts because oh no! The counsel is convinced he knows too much! We watch our MC do everything in her power to save him and realize she just might ACTUALLY be in love!

Thanks to NetGalley for the audio version, which was also fantastic. I feel the narrator really grasped the feel of the story and made it the light, fun and enjoyable listen that it is.

I almost put this series down halfway through the first book but I'm so glad that I didn't. Book two was great and this one was good as well. However I wasn't crazy about the characters until around half way through. This series is best in audiobook for me. The narration was on point and I could listen to her for hours!
I just reviewed Extra Witchy by Ann Aguirre. #ExtraWitchy #NetGalley

Extra Witchy by Ann Aguirre
Narrated by Ava Lucas
Publisher: Dreamscape Media
Genre: Romance
Published: November 10, 2022

Extra Witchy is the 3rd book in the Fix-It Witches series by Ann Aguirre and I think it's my favorite! Honestly, I loved each one of them and it's hard to pick a favorite! This book can be read as a standalone novel or as part of the series. This book does overlap with the previous book, but is told from the perspective of a different character, so I think you would enjoy it even if you hadn't read the previous book.

I absolutely loved this book! It made me feel all the feels! I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster with these incredible characters because I was so invested! The characters were wonderful, so likeable and interesting! The story was captivating and I was so drawn into it!

The narration by Ava Lucas was incredible!!! She is meant to read these books!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I’ve enjoyed reading the previous books on audio, so it was a given that I read this on audiobook as well. However, this one wasn’t my favourite in the trilogy.

First off, this wasn’t as steamy as I thought it’d be, considering the fact they did have a lot of chemistry. And the queer rep, with our hero being pansexual didn’t play that much of a role unlike in her other books in the trilogy. That’s not a bad thing at all, it’s just something I noticed.

Secondly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of either character. I couldn’t connect to either of them and I didn’t appreciate how Leanne treated Trevor in the beginning of their relationship. However, out of our two protagonists, I thought Trevor was just a tad more likeable. I also personally can’t speak on how accurate depression was represented in here, but I will say I’m glad it was featured.

By the end, I liked the direction the story ended up going in and I found myself enjoying Leanne and Trevor’s romance way more.

Overall, this was quite the cute and charming read. I’m not sure if this is the last book in the series or not, but if there are more books coming, I’ll be reading them in the future.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ALC in exchange for an honest review.

I was bored and annoyed while listening to this book. The MC was very immature. The sex scene came right at the beginning of the story, and there was no actual build upleading to an actual romance and feelings for each other. The narration was good though. Wanted to DNF, but I pushed on. Thanks to Netgalley amd publishing for allowing me to review this book.

First of all, I want to say thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for gifting me with an audiobook copy of Extra Witchy. I was quickly drawn in to wanting to know more about what would take place between Leanne and Trevor. Trevor was a totally charming and you wanted to root for him even though he honestly seemed like he had nothing to offer Leanne. I loved how their story played out and I was very happy with the ending. I really think that anyone who is looking for a cutesy romcom will be happy to stumble upon this one. Love is worth fighting for.

This is the third book in the series but can be read independent of the others.
Leanne has had it with her boss and his cronies. When she decides to run for city council, she wants to improve her twice divorced image. To do that she proposes to a man she just met, Trevor, that they get married.
Trevor has some family and self esteem issues. If he marries Leanne, he can at least get out of his parents basement apartment and solve the family issue. The only issue in the marriage is that he doesn't know that Leanne is a witch.
Opinion
I have enjoyed this series (and hope it doesn't end.) This book, however, frustrated me. The story line is great but Trevor's lack of self esteem really got to me. This may be because I do not lack self esteem so Trevor drove me nuts. I wanted to shake him by the shoulders and possibly slap him across the face to say "wake up man!"
I really did enjoy the sweet moments between the two MCs. The idea of marrying for political reasons is something that I'm sure happens in real life all the time so this made the story line plausible. It was sweeter still since they actually fell in love.
I was lucky enough to get a copy of the audiobook. The voice was perfect for the part. The book is written through Leanne's point of view and the voice was perfectly witchy.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for providing me with an ARC of the audiobook.

I loved this! Trevor was so sweet 🥹 and Leann was so good to him. They were fun and cute and such good complements to one another. Would have liked some more emotion in places but overall super sweet rom com. The audiobook made it fly by - very well done.

I do love these stories. The entire family/friend dynamic is delightful, and the world is well-thought out (I would expect no less from the author <3). The pace is perfect, and the stories intertwine so well together that they can be stand-alone, but are do much better in order.
We hear the first part of this story in a previous book, but it gets much more fleshed-out and detailed here. I love that there are so many different issues touched upon, including mental health, equality and discrimination.
The sexy MC's are a great addition, and I look forward to more books in this world, with these people. There is lots more to find out. is Darcy next?
thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Extra Witchy was such a fun, quick read filled with magic, fake dating, complicated family dynamics, unbreakable friendships & small town/Gilmore Girls vibes. The third installment of the magical Fix-It Witched series by Ann Aguirre - this book hit the nail on the head for a fun filled paranormal romantic comedy. 4/5⭐️!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Twice divorced, Leanne Vanderpol doesn’t do relationships, so when she meets Trevor Montgomery at a party, they escape to spend just the night together. Neither expects more, but when Leanne finds herself in need of a fake husband for her councilman run, she turns to Trevor.

Extra Witchy is the third on the series and I usually like the sequels better than the first, but this is my least favorite in the series. I feel like it was less action packed and more message driven than the first two. The message of love and acceptance despite any differences is fabulous and saves the book for me. Overall, I did thoroughly enjoy it and it’s definitely worth the read!

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for gifting me this audiobook.

This was cute. I will say that I enjoyed it more than Boss Witch but Witch Please is still the best book in this series. I don't have much to say though because I just feel content with this book.

I just adore this series!! This is the third book in the series and may be my favorite. I listened to the audiobook version, and while the voices weren’t what I “heard” when I read the other books, I loved this narrator. She did such a wonderful job!

I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Leanne Vanderpol has been divorced twice. She doesn’t have plans to open herself up to a man again, but with her political aspirations, she is afraid her past will be brought up against her. Trevor Montgomery is adrift in life, living at home with no career a decade after graduating college. After Leanne and Trevor spend an amazing night together, Leanne suggests the two get married – it will make her look better as a candidate, and Trevor can move out of his parents’ basement. He agrees, and the two fall into a comfortable life together.

I was happy to return to the Fix-It Witch series with the newest installment. It took me a little while to warm up to both characters, but once I did, I really liked both Leanne and Trevor, and they complemented each other so well. The end of this book seemed like it might be the end of the series, but I would welcome a book about someone else in their coven. Ava Lucas’ narration was just OK for me.

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.

What is a witch to do when she is divorced twice and happy alone but wants to run for office and needs to show some stability? Marriage, of course. That is where Trevor comes in. He is the perfect man for the job. He can clean, cook and keep house, and he looks good too. The only problem is he doesn't know she is a witch and she cannot tell him. This was a cute story and hit all the right feels. What started as a marriage of convenience quickly turned into so much more but what happens when the witch-thing isn't a secret any longer?

This was my favourite audiobook of the series so far!

Although you are introduced to the characters in the other novels, you really get to know Trevor and Leanne on a deeper level

Leanne is a strong, independent woman, and Trevor, although lost, is a loving and caring goofball.

Their love story was so cute to read! Can't wait to hear who's next.

This was adorable, though it was probably my least favorite of the three in the series thus far. The only reason I say this is because a lot of it felt very repetitive after a while. I am always here for a good fake dating (marriage) trope, and this was not disappointment in that category. It just felt like the disbelief that they could be loved by someone like the other and the "Am I developing feelings?" was just a bit overdone. Otherwise, I liked it. I love the series that follow different people in the story and can be read as a standalone, while still getting a story in the original world/friend group. The narrator does a fantastic job of emoting and making each character's voice individual and knowable. Overall a very enjoyable read.

Leanne is has had a difficult past and two failed marriages so she is not one to trust relationships. She has in her head that she wants to run for city council but knows that her chances would be much better with a partner. When a hookup with Trevor turns into a good friendship, they decide to get married for both of their benefit. Leanne gets that significant other to support her in her political run and Trevor gets to move out of his parents house and get his feet on the ground. There is a witch component to this book, but the struggle between Leanne telling Trevor what her life is like and him accidentally over hearing about her secret life puts him in danger with her witch coven.
