Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for sending me an early copy of this book! All opinions are my own!

I adore this series so much, and every book just adds such depth and sweetness to the story. My favorite thing about this book is how it talks so much about mental health struggles and healing. It takes two people who feel worthless and shows them how wrong they are. It takes such struggles of self-confidence and acceptance of love ad teaches them what a healthy life is supposed to look like and how much they deserve it.

I adored Leanne and felt like she was such a relatable character as a strong woman who is looking to advance in the world. So many people are always trying to tear down these kinds of women, but Leanne doesn't shy away from what she wants in life, and I appreciate that so much. And the fact that Trevor is simply her support, no matter what, is the cutest and most endearing thing ever.

As someone who usually doesn't like the love at first sight trope, I ended up really enjoying how their story unfolds and how they still came to know one another and cherish their lives together. It was refreshing and fun to watch unfold with the drama of the paranormal world.

If you're a fantasy romance lover, definitely check this series out!

3.5 stars

This definitely felt like the conclusion to the trilogy/series, so I’m imagining it’s the last book. Initially, I really wasn’t sold on either of the protagonists or their relationship dynamic, but it did grow on me, and I liked them by the end. The story itself was fine; I liked but didn’t love it, it made me laugh a couple of times, and it felt like a satisfactory conclusion to the set of three stories. It was a fun, fluffy, semi-magical romcom.

This is a cute story featuring a marriage of convenience. Leanne has had two failed marriages and wants to run for city council. She meets Trevor and after a quick hookup proposes a marriage of convenience to help with her image and keep her mom from moving in long-term. Trevor has been battling depression and living out of his parents' basement. He can't believe his luck when he meets Leanne and finds himself agreeing to her proposal so he can finally move out. Their story is an entertaining read featuring spicy scenes and a bit of magic here and there. Leanne is a heroine who knows what she wants and Trevor's exploration with and discussions around therapy are refreshing. The audio is well done and kept me engaged and wanting to listen longer than I had time for. If you are looking for lighthearted escape and enjoy books with witches I think you would enjoy this one.

I reviewed both books previously as 3.5. They were not stand-alone books and didn't do anything new. I wished there was more magic involved.
This book feels like Boss witch all over again, except worse. There's almost no conflict in this book. Clem is still the best protagonist, but Leanne is better than Danica. Trevor doesn't have a personality besides being depressed and ambitionless. I got annoyed by how many times he called her butterfly. Heavy wish fulfillment with having a stay-at-home husband and sugar mom. Leanne says she chose her coven, but they're not there for most of the book. <spoiler>There haven't been any real changes with the witch hunters being witches twist. The reveal that Leanne and Danica are witches to their husbands is underwhelming. </spoiler> Gram still got away with everything in the first two books. There's so much family trauma, but could we have at least one healthy parent/family in this series? Also, for a lgbtqia+ series, there's very little mention in this book, much less the series, as a whole. Why are there two epilogues? 3 stars

Cute story! I will forever be a fan of stories involving witches and witchcraft. Went into it not realizing it was a part of a series, but it read very well as a stand-alone.

I enjoyed every bit of the beginning, but kinda felt like it tapered off at the end. Trev was quite easy to adore and Leanne’s independence and confidence was fun to read about.

However, I think it could have wrapped up sooner rather than being dragged out. Also, by the end of the book, the nickname given to Leanne started to annoy me. It was overly used and took away from the sentiment.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ARC!

A modern woman looking for a regular guy to make her seem more relatable? Sounds interesting. Marriage of convenience trope mixed with potential of more feelings? Also sounds interesting. Add in the fact that she is a witch and has to keep it a secret? Sign me up!

I will say that this book for me was a. little slow. There was not a ton to move the plot forward. There was no big magical crisis and no big relationship drama moving it forward either, So I kept thinking something along the lines of "okayyyy and?" like both characters developed and opened themselves up to being love which was great but why other than right person right time? I wanted a little more drama. I just wanted more in one area or another. Maybe I put too much expectation on this book because I was so excited for it but I really wanted to love this book so much. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Was it my favorite book I've read after finding it on NetGalley this year? No.

Overall I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a cozy fantasy to read this spooky season. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

I love the Ann Aguirre books! They are such a fun and simple read. Not simple in a bad way, but in a way that my brain can relax and just enjoy the story! Extra Witchy was just what I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed their story.

Ava Lucas did a great job of narrating all the characters in this book. Leanne could be seen as a hard person - she was straight-laced - you know what she was thinking. she was ambitious and driven.

Trevor was a bit of the opposite he is stuck and doesn't know what to do next or how to get out. what else could they do but get married - win-win right
I believe they won more than either bargained for

I enjoyed the way the magic was interlaced into the story - the world was the same but with some magic that Leanne use when needed

A good easy read with some funny banter and good spicy scenes

This has been my favorite book in the series thus far! I was lucky enough to receive an audiobook copy via NetGalley for review and thoroughly enjoyed listening. Book 3 in the Fix-It Witches Series stars twice-divorced Leanne Vanderpol and Trevor Montgomery, the resident pothead/slacker. Their first meeting was mentioned both in books 1 & 2, but book 3 really gave it the substance to understand the chemistry these two characters bring. I loved the relationship between these two! They have both dealt with many challenges which brought them both insecurities, and it was so great to see them help each other out and build each other up. This was a very modern approach to a marriage of convenience and I thought it was greatly done. This was a lovely listen and the narrator matched the characters and story perfectly.

Not sure if there is a book 4, but if there is, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Witch Leanne’s political ambitions lead her to a marriage of convenience with presumably deadbeat Trevor. Will the two disenchanted souls end up finding something to hold onto in each other?

This third installment of the Fix-It Witches series served up more of the paranormal shenanigans and smut that the first two books delivered. I enjoyed the return to St. Claire and appearance of characters from the other books. The audiobook had solid performance quality. However…

I had a few qualms with this book. First, the series is very formulaic (there’s a big witchy problem for the coven to solve, there’s family drama, the heroine struggles with not sharing her full witchy self with the hero, etc.). Second, I just couldn’t see these characters together. I’m all for opposites attracting, but the combination of marriage of convenience, unbalanced power dynamic, and age difference (which came across much more Mrs. Robinson than it really should have been) just didn’t work for me.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for providing me with an advance listener copy to review!

This is a paranormal mystery. Leanne is a witch with political aspirations. She needs Trevor to be in a fake relationship with her to better her political career and as a side bonus, keep her mother from moving in with her. Trevor seems to be depressed with little confidence. He jumps at the chance to be "everything" for Leanne. Leanne is a master manipulator-perfect qualifications for someone with political aspirations. This includes several steamy scenes. Excellent narration by Ava Lucas.

This series just gets better and better! This installment finds us following Leanne as she jumps into the deep end of politics as well as in her personal life. Superb characters that draw you in and make you love them wrapped into a delightfully entertaining yet realistic plot in spite of being set within the paranormal realm. I love how this series is a fun, entertaining rom com set within the paranormal world while the underlying message is one of acceptance and letting people be who they are without judgement or prejudice. The narration is outstanding and really brings the characters to life. I am absolutely chomping at the bit to see which witch will be the focus of the next book!

Extra Witchy by Ann Aguire
Fix-It Witches #3. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone. The world building is the same and the prior characters at mentioned but don’t have a huge role here. Marriage of convenience troupe.
Leanne has been married before and is quite happy alone. Making a move into the political world though has her thinking of her image. She decides marrying Trevor is her best move. He can keep house, cook and basically support her as her career shifts into the public. She just needs to keep her magic hidden since the counsel prohibits anyone from knowing it exists.

Trevor is at a low point in his life when Leanna proposes. He has nothing to lose. What he gains is self respect, business skills and the love of his life.
While magic is the bottom line premise here, it’s really only about 25% of the story, most of which takes place in the last quarter of the book.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the relationship building that occurred both for the couple and his friends and his life. The magic was an add-on that wasn’t missed.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook version of this narrated by Ava Lucas. I thought the performance was excellent in its pace and timing. There were distinct voices for Trevor and Leanne and alternating viewpoints. In this instance, I liked the audio for the drama and Trevor’s worries which carried clearly to the reader. We also heard the lack of depth of feeling from Leanne as her priorities became work and counsel and not her marriage. Or perhaps just buried under a lack of time?
I listened to this at 1.5 which is a bit faster than my preferred but it needed that bump for conversational comfort.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media.
By far, my favorite of the series.

Extra Witchy (Fix-It Witches #3)
Ann Aguirre
Leanne Vanderpol Is a career driven witch. After two marriages she’s given up on happily ever after. She doesn’t need a loving relationship, but she does need a husband to help with her run for the city council. Trevor Montgomery just might be THE guy. He was the party guy in school. Being popular doesn’t pay the bills. No job, no anticipation of being successful as a matter of fact he lives in his parents’ basement. His family has written him off as hopeless. Of course, with that kind of support how could that expect more. Then he sees Leanne, the girl of his dreams. Both Leanne and Trevor realize being a team could be advantageous to both. Leanne is beautiful, intelligent, with a sharp tongue. Trevor is the opposite. Although he failed to launch, he is likeable, and he is dependable. He loves to video games and weed is one of his pleasures. Leanne recognizes Trevor’s charisma and other attributes. He is the perfect man for the job of being her husband.
Author Ann Aguirre explores what makes both of the main characters tick. Trevor’s family expects disappointment from him because his father has spent a lifetime pointing out Trevor’s faults. How can a parent expect more than disappointment when they treat their child the way Trevor has been treated. Leanne brings out the best in Trevor because she believes in him but does not pressure him.
This is a cute, sweet and fun romance. I am not fond of the witch aspect but that’s my own personal opinion.

It’s been awhile since I’ve read a fake wedding trope so this one was refreshing. Plus, it had the added twist of the witch part of it- which honestly was just enough. It didn’t overtake the story, just helped it to flow.

🌀Synopsis
Leanne is putting her career first. After two divorces, she needs to work on her image if she’s going to be in politics. After an escapade with Trevor at a party she decides to see if he will help her out.

It starts with them moving in together so Leanne’s mom will leave her alone. Then it’s getting married so she’ll look better when she runs for office. Once they are married Trevor helps her spearhead her campaign and supports her to victory.

Leanne has a secret though and it’s one that Trevor can’t find out. He overhears a conversation that she can’t tell him about and their relationship starts to crumble. She finally gets the council of witches to agree to let her tell him she’s a witch.

✨ Review ✨ Extra Witchy by Ann Aguirre; Narrated by Ava Lucas

The Third in the Fix-It Witches series, this book follows the story of Leanne (another coven member) and Trevor (Titus's stoner bff, who appeared in book 1). Leanne's running for mayor and Trevor's looking to get out of his parent's basement and they form a mutual fake dating/marriage bond.

I was engaged in the audiobook and enjoyed the narrator, but in the end the narrative arc just fell a little short for me. The marketing sells Trevor as a pan hero of the book, but aside from a mention or two of his presumed queerness this isn't a part of the plot or really of his identity in the book. To me, this felt a little like playing up his queerness just to market the book. **shrug** There was definitely some steam, but for me, the second book of this series was my favorite!

I loved the first two books in this series but this one just fell short the main characters never grew on me and I felt that it should have ended after book two.

After reading Not The Witch You Wed I knew I loved Ann Aguirre's writing style, after listening to Extra Witchy I know she's my go-to paranormal romantic comedy writer.

This book is brilliant, witty, magical, and spicy, it has everything you could be looking for. Full of ups and downs, emotional roller coasters, and drama (both family and life in general) Extra Witchy tells the tale of Leanne and Trevor, how an unusual proposal can get both of them everything they wanted and a few things they didn't know they wanted or needed.

When you have a group of fix-it witches that look out for each other and the town they live in you're bound to have some bumps in the road but those bumps are so funny that I found myself listening hour after hour laughing as the dominoes fall get put back up and fall again, I enjoyed so much of this book, it was a great escape from reality that has just enough reality to make it relatable.

As for the spice, it's nice, done well, and makes perfect sense in the story in the case of Leanne and Trevor it leads to the perfect answers for both of them and their problems while setting up a wild ride (no pun intended) for them.

This audiobook was fantastic! I love the continuation of the story from Witch Please and Boss Witch! It was great to jump back into the story and learn more about something that happened in a previous book. I’m hoping for more St. Claire witches books!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for a copy of the audiobook. This is my voluntary honest review!

Extra Witchy is the third installment in the Fix-It Witches paranormal romance series. It's been a fun adventure being introduced to the people in this small witchy town. I enjoyed the first two in the series more than this one. It was good but I would have liked more about the coven and spells and the fun that was more prevalent in the other two. I also found the end to the book just a bit too easy and buttoned up. After reading it, I did look at some of the reviews and many people enjoyed this one quite a bit. So maybe this set of characters just didn't connect with me.
