I've enjoyed the Fix-It Witches series, the combination of witches using magic in a modern setting and incorporating technology is so fun. This third (and maybe last?) book focuses on Leanne, who's twice divorced and decides to run for city council. I liked how strong and self sufficient she was, she wasn't really looking for a partner and was fine on her own. Of course when Trevor comes on the scene, Leanne finds out that having someone by her side might be just what she was missing.

I liked Trevor's personality, he's pretty nice and makes friends easily. At first I didn't think he was a good fit for Leanne, since he couldn't hold down a job and was in debt. That would be a big no from me, but Leanne didn't need him to financially contribute, just be arm candy basically. It was a fun flip of the trope I've read before and the couple fit together pretty well.

The ending of this was great and felt like it wrapped this world up. I'd be happy to read another installment, but this was a nice conclusion too.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All opinions are my own. Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the copy.

What an interesting concept for a romance! The idea was very intriguing and I was curious as how the fantasy/paranormal aspects played out - I would say this is on the light end of the spectrum and really isn’t a focus. I found the characters to be interesting, especially Trevor. Do was curious to how he got in the situation he found himself in, but really there didn’t seem to be enough backstory or really exploration into why. There is personal growth but just not enough really. The book is steamy from the jump, there’s little tension or angst if that’s what you’re looking for. Perhaps I would have enjoyed this more if I had read the previous books. The narrator was good and I enjoyed the audiobook version. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

The third installment of the Fix-It Witches series follows Leanne Vanderpool and Trevor Montgomery. We see both of these characters in previous books, and we know these two have gotten married on a whim. In this book we find out the events that lead up to their marriage and everything after.

I really enjoyed this series, and this book is quite possibly my favorite in the series. I felt like I connected and had a lot in common with both the main characters. Trev says something along the line of he wasn’t sure how many times he went without showering or brushing his teeth because it was all so fucking pointless. Damn I felt that! The reason behind his term of endearment “butterfly” is super sweet! Both epilogues made me teary-eyed to see what was happening in the witchy community! It was a bittersweet ending.

I was not really a fan of the narrator for this book. The voice just didn’t seem to fit. But I still really enjoyed the story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for giving me an arc of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I couldn't get into this book. The narrator was ok. Given the story she did her best. The characters were not well developed and the writing was ok. The storyline has potential, but it didn't work for me.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the opportunity to listen to listen to this audiobook.

This was the third book in the series focusing on Leanne's story. Leanne sets her eyes on Trev during a party. They immediately have a hookup but Leanne gets the brilliant idea of how they could have a fake marriage to help her political run.

Trev has been stagnant in his life since he graduated from college. Leanne is the first thing that seems to go right in his life in a long time. He is amazed that this wonderful woman wants her and he is on board to marry her to help her for her dreams.

I like how this story flipped the gender constructs. Leanne was the main bread winner and Trevor was the more domesticated one cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the home. They were immediately in to one another but it took them a long time to own up to their feelings and tell each other the truth.

It was an easy read with the full coven and friend groups popping up throughout the story.

This has to be my favorite of the series!

*Gender Norm Swap

*Cinnamon Roll Golden Retriever MMC energy
*FMC in politics
*FMC complicated family relationships
*MMC that goes to therapy

These two were absolutely perfect for one another. I absolutely loved that the author dug more into the world structure of this world. Charming fun read! The audiobook was chefs kiss!!!

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape media for this audiobook. This is Book 3 in the Fix-It Witches series but can be read as a stand alone. This was a marriage of convenience trope with some supernatural elements.

This was just an okay read for me. I could get fully into it. There where some good moments though. And I did love the coupling of Leanne and Trevor. Besides her big secret she kept from him I liked their dynamic. Also enjoyed Trevor’s friends and his relationship with his mother in law. I also thought this May of had one or two too many story lines. I will say I really enjoyed narrator Ava Lucas. Her voice what made me want to keep listening. A very soothing voice I wanted to keep listening to. Would be happy listening to more of her work.

Giving this three stars.

Although I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first two, it’s a great addition to the series. I love seeing how these women come together, no matter what, for each other.

Thank you Net Galley for an audio copy of Extra Witchy by Ann Aguirre. For me, this one was slow to start so I'm giving it 3.5 stars. I did like the last half though!

I absolutely adored Titus in Witch Please, so I couldn't wait to read Extra Witchy when I heard it featured Titus' friend, Trevor. Can I just say that Trev is a breath of fresh air, an uncomplicated and supportive partner in a world full of third act break ups? In the grand scheme of things, this book was overly not complicated and rated very low on the drama scale for me. After reading so many romances with explosive plot points, Extra Witchy ended up seeming simple in its conflict. However, it was so nice to read a romance that was purely about the feel-good relationship and not a rollercoaster of emotion.

I loved Leanne - she was strong and take charge on the surface, but softened when Trev was around. I just sunk into Leanne and Trev's relationship. They supported each other in a way I don't see in a lot of contemporary romances and they were just so easy around each other, which in turn made their story an easy one to read. Some readers may not like the lack of emotional conflict in this story, but I loved the way Aguirre wrote Trev and Leanne's relationship.

Ava Lucas did a fantastic job at bringing Leanne and Trev to life. She gave both main characters such personality, and it was just so easy to listen and get lost in Lucas's narration. However, by far my favorite part of this audiobook is how Lucas treated the internal thoughts of the characters. It immediately stood out to me how Lucas read the thoughts and internal dialogue in the same voice she gave the characters when they spoke out loud. I absolutely loved that part of the narration. Lucas not only made it clear that the line was a thought, but she also made it clear who was thinking that thought. Audiobooks don't always make it clear when someone is speaking versus thinking, but that was not an issue at all with this narrator.

I think Lucas did an excellent job at giving voice to the main characters as well as all of Leanne and Trev's friends, family, and acquaintances. Her voice was clear, and it was obvious when a speaker changed as well as when we switched from dialogue to exposition. Ava Lucas made an already enjoyable book an entertaining audiobook to listen to.

Extra Witchy was 100% my favorite of the series! I love Leann and Trevor. Marriage of Convenience is one of my favorite tropes. Absolutely loved it!

This is the third book of the Fix-It Witches series and it follows Leanne and Trevor's point of you. It picks up during the party where she asked Trever the fun pick up line seeing if he wanted to be her third husband. Thank you so much NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ARC!

The audio book was great and I enjoyed the narration. Ava Lucas does the best dialect switching between characters. I was enamored with her accent for Leanne. She really brings the story to life.

Ann Aguirre has a fun way of continuing the story. Instead of picking up the story after everything ended in the previous books, she picks it up in specific spot in the plot from the previous books. I love this about these books. She really gets to flush out all the characters!

The beginning was a little slower for me and it took a few chapters for me to get into the book. When it took off I flew through it!!!! I loved how Leanne and Trevor invested in each other in their own ways through out the story. Some things you will see with this are:

-Strong willed (very strong) main female character
-Love Marriage of Convenience
-He Falls First
-Found Family
-Strong Friendships
-Instant Attraction

Please check any trigger warnings as the book does hit on some heavier topics like Toxic Family, Depression, Failed Relationships, Drug Use.

I have immensely enjoyed all of the books in the Fix-It Witches series and Extra Witchy was no exception.
I loved that we got to focus on other members in the coven and Titus' friend that was mentioned in Witch Please. I found Leanne and Trevor to be an unlikely couple but they worked! I think their dynamic was so sweet and I enjoyed watching them fall in love. I also thought the reasoning for their marriage of convenience made sense.
This book started with a bang and that should've been a warning for how steamy this book was going to be! I think this is the steamiest out of the three.
I'm a big fan of the world Aguirre has created too. It feels like Practical Magic almost, perfect for spooky season.
I'm hoping there are more books in this series (fingers crossed!)
I have read the previous two books as audiobooks so I was highly anticipating this one. I was not disappointed by the narrators. They always bring the characters to live and make their voices unique. Always helps draw me into a story.
Overall I really thought this was a delightful romance with some light paranormal magic in it. I would recommend this for readers who like opposites attract, marriage of convenience, small town romance, witches, Practical Magic vibes, and steamy romances.

UGHHH I just think I have to finally admit that this series is just not for me. As a big fan of paranormal romance, this book is just not it. There's barely any magic in this book and I just feel like the author needs to commit to the paranormal aspects or not.

I also felt like our characters backstories were very underdeveloped and it hard to care about them and their personal motivations.

Rating: 2.5 stars

The way I dropped everything to listen to this when my ARC request was approved.

I really like this series. There's bits about it that I would tweak if I could, but overall this is a really well put together contemporary magical romance series, and I like where she's taking it. I hope there are more books. I feel like there will be with some of the side character stuff going on in here.

This book follows Leanne, the driven political witch, who now has decided to run for City Council, with the eventual goal of becoming mayor. Her co-MC is Trevor, who has been depressed and living in his parents' basement, and feels aimless and worthless. He also has a lot of needs and wants that his family doesn't deem appropriate for a man (he loves taking care of people, for one). So when Leanne impulsively (and facetiously) asks him at a party if he wanted to be her third husband, neither imagine that's exactly what's going to happen. They're more in it for the hot bathroom sex. Instead, Leanne decides to propose a partnership. They will be together to get him out of his parents' house, get him health insurance (so he can finally go therapy) and figure out his life, and she can get the political stability that will come from being married instead of twice-divorced.

I really liked Trevor and Leanne together. His nurturing, homebody nature paired really well with her outgoing, ambitious one. They just fit really well as a couple. And I'm really glad that the biggest thing that's bothered me so far in this series was finally addressed. Now thanks to Leanne and Trevor, it's no longer a problem.

Thanks Ann Aguirre & team for sending me an advanced copy of the audiobook for review, I've adored this series since the first book was released and each new addition is so uniquely sweet & heartwarming. I adored LeAnn and Trevor, I especially enjoyed watching them grow and figure out how to support each other as they went towards their goals. I was sad that the epilogue read so much like an ending, I felt like there was so much more of this universe to explore.

CONTENT WARNING: toxic family relationships

I was really excited for this one, since I really enjoyed the first two, and the author managed to keep things fresh, fun, and absolutely adorable in this book.

Both Leanne and Trevor are characters that were easy to like - Leanne is dedicated and highly focused on her job, and she's very successful. Trevor is super down on himself and not very motivated, instead living in his parents basement and smoking a lot of weed, doing odd jobs for his friends and seeing a therapist to help him get over a terrible breakup that further decimated his already low self-esteem. So when Leanne picks him out of a crowd with the amazing pickup line of "want to be my third husband," Trevor is shocked at this stunner of a woman, and isn't going to do anything but go along with it.

But what starts out as one night of fun winds up being something else entirely. The two of them realize that they're weirdly comfortable with each other in that way that happens every once in a blue moon, and wind up spending the night together rather than having a random hookup. And when Leanne decides that she's going to run for city council, she realizes that a single woman won't have as good of a chance as a married woman, and proposes a marriage of convenience to Trevor, who readily agrees, because ... duh.

And naturally, the two of them hit it off. Trevor is a natural househusband, more than happy to sit back and support Leanne as she strives to achieve her goals as well as be supportive to her mentally and emotionally, and she returns the favor, encouraging him to find out what he's good at and set some goals to work towards. As an added bonus, she supports him at building up his self-esteem.

I totally shipped these two, and not least of all because she didn't miraculously "complete" him - she supported him as he did the work to improve himself, and he did the same for her. There's an actual plot going on outside of the romance, and I was fully invested in both the story and the romance, and I found myself really enjoying the story. Ava Lucas did a great job as the narrator, and kept the tension - both in the story and the sexual tension - simmering enough that I couldn't stop listening, and the spicy parts were absolutely perfect! I was so happy to see this couple's story, and loved how everything worked out. I would have liked to see a little more witchcraft in the story, but it's explained how Leanne isn't strong as a witch. Overall, this was a fun and flirty read.

The third installment in the Fix-It Witches series was a spicy, fun, and touching read. I love the relationship that Leanne and Trevor form and that they both bring their own strengths and weaknesses. I like how each book in the series focuses on a different witch in the coven. Very much looking forward to reading the next book in the series when it is released.

Ava Lucas does a great job of narrating this audiobook. I was able to listen to the book at 2.0x speed and still understand everything she was saying. The voices for different characters were easy to differentiate. I will definitely look for books narrated by Ava in the future.

Loved this book! My favorite one in the series… so far.

I was curious how Ann was going to keep the tension since we already (mostly) knew how the book was going to end. It was brilliant! I have never read a book where the characters and timeline overlap like this series, while still moving both forward. It’s done so well! Because of this, I highly recommend reading these stories in order.

Leanne is abrasive to start with, but we quickly learn why and what makes her tick. When Leanne and Trevors paths cross, its happy accident turned beneficial agreement with swoon worthy interactions on every page.

Since I listened to this as an audio-ARC, I would be remiss to not mention how much I love Ava Lucas! She is a FANTASTIC narrator and makes these stories enjoyable to listen to.

Thank you NetGalley, DreamscapeMedia, and Ann Aguirre for the chance to listen to this great story!!

This latest Fix-It witches book started off with a bang (literally!), as strangers Leanne and Trevor have a steamy hook-up that later leads to a marriage of convenience that slowly turns into something real neither of them was expecting.

Both Leanne and Trevor have been burned by love in the past so when Leanne proposes they team up to help her chances running for a seat on City council it seems like a good idea. Jobless, loveless and tired of always disappointing his toxic family, Trevor was hopeful this change could be a good thing and make his family think he's doing something with his life.

I loved the mental health rep in this book, especially that Trevor is the one struggling with depression and feelings of self-worth. There is great found family and amazingly STEAMY open door scenes. It was also fun seeing the evolution of the witchy world as Leanne fights for the coven to come out into the open.

Great on audio, this is my new favorite in the series and was totally worth the wait. I'm excited to see what's next as it seems like there may be another book still to come with these characters. Much thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for early digital copies in exchange for my honest review!
