How can you tell a powerful man has been cancelled?

He’ll make another fortune off telling people about it in his next book.

Good for a chuckle at the things that haunt society.

I'm not sure why but I thought there would be more to this than just jokes, thats on me though, not the authors.

I wanted something short and funny - so a joke book geared to offending literally anyone sounded perfect, the fact that we’re offending men is just an added bonus.

Yeah yeah not all men. Of course not all men. Not all serial killers eat people either - that is not the point - so let’s just agree to move past it and understand that while it isn’t all men, there are plenty of people on the gender spectrum that will find offense within these pages of hilarity.

I got the audiobook version through NetGalley and it was an absolute blast to listen to. I listen at what has been referred to as “warp speed” so this was an incredibly fast listen. It is literally a joke book. Don’t expect more from it than that. The jokes are based around feminist issues so if that offends you, then just avoid it because you won’t find it funny.

I enjoyed it anyway. Got some solid laughs in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was hard to get through. It wasn't even the jokes, but they were not very inventive either. It was the narration. It was clunky and monotone. This book would be a good like physical coffee table book.

This was fantastic! Hilarious from start to finish (and a little sad from the truth found in the jokes)!

"What do men and pie have in common?'
"When given the opportunity, I prefer cake."

I highly recommend taking an hour out of your day to feel seen and have some fun.

Super quick listen and would have loved to see the physical book. Not sure if the high school will buy it for our collection but it would be a fun gift for my feminist friends.

Oh boy. Jokes to Offend Men was everything I didn't know I needed. It really leans in to my toxic trait of just making terrible jokes out of things that are going wrong in my life. Jokes to Offend Men include terrible jokes about things like how men get promotions more easily, how they don't have to explain themselves in certain situations like women do, how they don't even need to be qualified for a job as long as they know the right people, etc. It was a very easy listen and the narrators did a great job. They tell it like it is, which is something formed as a joke that's not really that funny. This book did make me laugh but more often it made me really think about some things. I'd recommend this to my friends, definitely.

HILLARIOUS! Poor Greg, he's having a rough time today and not taking it well. This would make for an awesome gift and I highly recommend the audio version as well. So funny... because it's true.

I love the narrators for this book. I think the deliveries really are what made me laugh. The jokes on the other hand...fell a little flat to me. I understand and appreciate the point of these jokes though. Honestly, it was a little bit of a bummer at times because maybe they hit a little too hard? It's a quick listen, which i enjoyed!

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Audio for this ARC in exchange for a review!

Absolutely necessary and cathartic. It makes you laugh, angry, and most of all reminds you that we are in this together.

This was really fun! Flipped misogyny right on its head, and gave me a well needed chuckle! Not all the jokes landed but there was some jems. Narrators were great too which was an added bonus..

Honestly the jokes in this book felt like they were written decades ago. I didn’t laugh at all listening to the audio book. I imagine it works much better as a hard copy book, but it doesn’t work as an audiobook.

Painful. Funny. Eye Opening.
Jokes to Offend Men has reminded me that most, if not all, of the everyday sexism I face is basically universal. These horrible truths are somehow wrapped up in a humorous and darkly upbeat package.

I listened to the audiobook, and while it was well made, and thought I would have enjoyed it more as a physical book.. I'm not sure if I would be able to keep it on my bookshelf, I'd hand it out to anyone who came over.

"A woman walks into a bar and she topples over it because being clumsy is her defining personality trait in this male directed rom com"

Thank you #NetGalley and #JokestoOffendMen for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was a good light hearted listen about a serious topic. The book touches much more on womens injustices than jokes to actually offend men

Jokes to Offend Men is a collection of jokes that serve as a sharp commentary about what women have to endure pretty much every day of their lives. It's a short read: some jokes were quite good, but most of them fell flat for me unfortunately. There are lots of repetitions, so some jokes were really predictable, I have laughed out loud to only one joke, but I think the point of this book is more about making fun about something that is still a problem, a sort of "reclamation" of a certain structure of jokes that were almost always targeting the weaker part, rather than making the reader actually laugh. Still, I think I would have enjoyed this more if it had more funny (meaner) puns and less bitter statements: I'm pretty sure these jokes will not offend men at all.

* I'd like to thank Allison Kelley, Danielle Kraese, Kate Herzlin, Ysabel Yates, Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for providing this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

I am crying at the irony of the situation where instead of laughing at these jokes, I'm so mad at the world, especially at all the Gregs who think they have a license to look down on women and give unsolicited advises and recommendations and what not. Honestly, this book is more of a social commentary than a jokes book and it would offend everybody - the oppressor and the oppressed.

Enjoyed the audio book narration! Recommended.

Thanks to Andrews McMeel Audio and NetGalley for the ALC.

3.5/5🌟.

I got an ARC of the audiobook from NetGalley. I was definitely intrigued by the title and concept of the book.

I really liked all of the narrators and I think this was a book enjoyed better audibly due to the narrators' deliveries of the jokes. Not every joke landed with me, but It was an enjoyable, quick listen. I'm not sure if many of the jokes would offend men, but women will definitely appreciate them.

Unapologetically funny and honest, Jokes to Offend Men takes many of the common jokes we hear and turns them on their head while also creating some that are entirely new. It would make a perfect gift or coffee table book! Jokes to Offend Men is a quick read and I highly recommend it.

Jokes to Offend Men was a quick listen. It was one that made me laugh, as it should as a joke book, but also made me angry at times to think about the reality of the joke. So many double standards between men and women and this book did a good job of highlighting them through a joke format. I enjoyed the organization of the book into different categories of jokes.

I enjoyed the audiobook but I would also like to have this one in print to be able to share several of the jokes.
