After watching "For All Mankind" on Apple TV, I found my old interest in space exploration reawakened. It's been too long since the glory days of the Apollo missions of my childhood. Somehow, the space shuttle program just didn't excite me the way trips to the moon did.
So I was pleasantly surprised to find this book offered by NetGalley. It's a good one. Gone are the overly cautious and hidebound days of the NASA bureaucracy, and they have been replaced by a bunch of exciting entrepreneurs, all of whom seem to be racing each other for success and glory. SpaceX, Blue Horizon, Virgin Galactic, all are making strides as well as waves. Sure, they're run by a bunch of 1%'ers. but no one else is stepping up to reinvigorate the space race. I say more power to them. And let's get going and get to Mars!

An interesting book for those interested in the latest trends in the space industry, especially commercial companies. Provides a fairly balanced view of companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin. Also covers the latest NASA projects.

This is a stunning book. The included images are absolutely beautiful if you are interested in space shuttle history.
(Thanks to Net Galley & Brad Bergan for this Book).

Good summary of where the space race is today! Great for a hard-copy book, but doesn’t have quite the same impact in an ebook format.
