I loved everything about this book. From beginning to end, it was perfect and so cleverly written. I’ve already recommended this book to all of my friends and I can’t wait to read more from this author

Oh how I just loved this one!! It was so fun and I loved the humor and sassy aspects of it. I enjoyed watching Bea grow throughout this one. Overall, this is a super fun, from different worlds, age-gap romance. I can't wait to read more from Amy Andrews.

After being passed on yet again for a promotion, Bea decides she's done with the rat race and leaves it all for small town Colorado. She's decided to be a rule breaker and not care about anything, which leads to her eating ice cream outside the local diner for breakfast wearing bunny slippers. When someone calls the cops on her, she meets Austin, a younger police officer who decides to help her break all the rules...

I think deep inside we all have a little Bea in us. This is a funny romance. I love Bea and Austin together. This has a small town romance, age gap and a little bit of finding yourself.

Thank you Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Well, the novel was entertaining and predictable. I found the beginning to be slow but then it perked my interest. The author handled the situations in a very different manner. It was a very pleasant read and a very nice way to pass some time.

Small town romance, a woman who knows what she wants and a man who has just discovered that what he needs will change his life forever. Age doesn't matter and when the town deputy meets the new resident the town will be talking and the shenaningans will begin.

Amy Andrews writes fun, flirty, and sexy small town perfectly. Take a risk, listen to your inner voice and follow your dreams. Age is a number, ideas are meant to be shared and dreams chased. The romance is sexy, sweet and perfectly spiced.

Are you a rule breaker? Fall in love and read this today.

Breaking all the Rules by Amy Andrews started off strong and hilarious funny but then everything became sexualised it was as if Nigella Lawson was reading a book. I’m far from being a prude but I wasn’t liking the communication between Bea and Austin. I’m definitely in the minority of not liking this book so check out the higher rating stars.

Thank you Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for the digital copy of Breaking All The Rules for reviewing purposes.

*due to the low rating I won’t post my review to social media.

Something about this just didn’t sit well with me. The sex scenes made me cringe. Bea seemed pretty gross to be honest, walking around in dirty stained clothes and having not showered in days. For sure I can see why someone immediately thought that was hot…

Just not for me I guess.

Breaking All The Rules is simply a complete misfire. Tonally jarring and incoherent with its plot make breaking all the rules an immediate skip.

“Breaking All the Rules” by Amy Andrews tells the story of Beatrice (Bea) Archer and Officer Austin Cooper. Bea has lived her life by the book but decides to move to a small-town for a fresh rebellious start. When a cop is called to assist with her immoral behaviour, Bea realizes the only thing missing from her rebellious new lifestyle is a little fun time with a partner. Cooper agrees and has no problem breaking the rules, especially regarding this kind of game. As the two have a fling, Bea realizes that playing with fire leads to consequences.

This book was amazing!!! I really appreciated the themes mentioned in the story, and I love how Bea was written - she makes me want to start somewhere fresh! The banter was good, and if you’re interested in a small-town romance where “he falls first,” this book is for you!

I loved how unique this story was. I was absolutely here for the reverse age gap. I loved Austin and Bea and how they each fought for their own ages and against typical stereotypes of those ages. Definitely one to put on your TBR!

Really enjoyed this sweetly sexy and action-packed adventure filled with witty and engaging charters, fun dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable and exciting passion. A highly entertaining read from beginning to end.

This book by Amy Andrews is funny, sassy and a great read!
Bea has escaped from her less than happy life, she doesn’t care what other people think, she needs to heal in Credence!
I love the spicy writing style with attitude and the idea that a hurt, sad woman can be helped by a hunky man in uniform!
Bea thinks that time spent drinking, binge eating and watching television is going to solve her problems, along with apple pie!
Hunky deputy Austin slowly works on showing Bea that a different life may be just what she needs! Who knew that Bea would allow herself to meet new people, enjoy line dancing and especially, open her heart!

Thank you to the publisher, NetGalley and the wonderful Amy Andrews for the opportunity to read this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

First, the cover sold me from the get-go. I loved the cover of a woman who has just given the last of her F*@%$ and has decided to live in her own skin and do what makes her happy.

Honestly I wish i could be more like Bea and her no nonsense rebirth in Colorado. Also.... I think I want a cowboy now and want to read more cowboy romance.

This book captured me from the start and I loved that we begin in CO and get a backstory of what led her there in snips and memories. Also, where can I get Annie's pies?

I laughed and swooned and loved this character!

Run, don't walk, and go read this one!

First time reading this author. I liked the cranky feisty female main character. I admit I had a hard time getting into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. Thanks NetGalley for the advanced copy. #NetGalley #BreakingAlltheRules

“And yep, there it was. Holy Adonis, Batman.
V for victory. V for vice.
V for va-va-voom.”

Beatrice Archer has always done everything she’s supposed to. She has worked her ass off, ignored her non-existent personal life, and kept her mouth shut. Now she’s over it. The rat race, respectability…the underwire bras. She’s taking her life back. Starting with moving to Nowhere, Colorado to live life on her own terms.

Now Bea gives exactly zero forks. Beer for breakfast. Sugar for everything else. Baggy sweats and soft cotton undies FTW. Then a much younger and delightfully attractive cop is called to deal with her flagrant disregard for appropriate clothing outside the local diner (some folks just don’t appreciate bunny slippers) and Bea realizes there’s something missing from her life…and he might be the guy to help her out.

When it comes to breaking rules, Officer Austin Cooper is surprisingly eager to assist. He’s charming, a little bit cowboy, and a whole lot sexy. But Bea’s about to discover that breaking the rules has consequences.

Jilted woman moves to small town and meets hot cop. I will just never tire of this type of story. I legit laughed out loud throughout this whole book! Beatrice is such a hoot and Austin is the legit perfect man. Young. Honorable. Hot. Wears a uniform. Lives on a ranch. Brings his girl pie. He single handedly helps Bea heal her heart and soul, and watching her unapologetically go after what she wants was so refreshing!

Thank you to @netgalley, @tlcbooktours, @entangled_publishing and @amyandrewsbooks for the #gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I seriously love this author and the town of Credence! I've also developed an obsession with Thursday panties, the word ma'am, and one eyed scruffy cats!. This story had all the feels for me, it was funny, tons of hot steamy scenes, loads of great characters, and a couple that you just absolutely had a connection with. Loved Bea and Austin, I mean seriously, a hot small town cop and an ex advertising exec that hit her breaking point and landed in the small town of Credence. Had me laughing from the get go (pokey and melted ice cream, lol!), truly a very entertaining and well written book. Can't wait for the next one!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

This is my first read by Amy Andrews and I'm hooked. Not only does she weave an intriguing story, her writing style offers a unique rom-com style that had me literally laughing out loud more times than not. I've definitely found a new go to author when I need a feel good, fun read with some fun and flirty spiciness.

The main character, Beatrice (Bea) has moved to Credence, CO in an attempt to escape her crumbling life in Los Angeles. She escapes by eating junk food, drinking beer and binge watching the Winchester brothers on Supernatural. She simply wants to hide out for a while and lick her wounds. What she doesn't count on is a decadent deputy named Austin who is about ten years younger and solidly built from helping out on his family's ranch. As he slowly lures her out of her self imposed exile, Bea discovers there may be more to life than the advertising world she's just left. Maybe new friends, line dancing, day of the week underwear, watching tv and enjoying a hot younger man can be worthwhile parts of her life too....oh and pie....lots of wonderful pie from Annie's.

This book provided the perfect little escape and kept me thoroughly entertained. I not only read the ebook, I also listened to the audiobook. The narration in the audio was spot on. With the quick one-liners that the author throws out, I think the narration made it even more funny because the listener could hear the inflection and more easily catch the author's intent. I'm rating both versions with 5 stars because I found them both extremely enjoyable.

Thank you to NetGalley for both the ARC and the early listening copy. I voluntarily chose to review both of these and the opinions contained within are my own.

Amy Andrews has once again written a fun, smart, witty, sexy story. Bea is done. She has metaphorically hit a wall and runs away from L.A. and found herself in the small quirky town of up Credence. While there all she wants is to hole up in her apartment, wear what she wants, eat junk and be left alone to figure out how to let go of others expectations and figure out who she really is and what she wants out of life. This involves a lot of pie, ice cream, bunny slippers and thr seriously good looking Austin Cooper. Their chemistry is great. Sit back and enjoy this enjoyable read with a fabulous ending.

This was a fantastic book. It was so close to getting full marks. Just from the start, I knew I was going to love it . It was funny, and I found myself laughing out loud at times. I especially loved the bunny slippers. The pie must have been good. It was the added details that made this book stand out. I actually rated it 4.5 stars. The author did such a fantastic job at creating such a wonderful storyline. There were a few unexpected events and one shocking event. I am just thankful that the book didn't go the way I thought it was going. It was a fantastic end not giving anything away, though. You will have to read it yourself. I loved the characters they were easy to connect with and love. It was a fantastic reading experience, and I became emotionally invested in the story. It's definitely a page turner that I have to recommend reading. Especially if you like some steamy bits. For me, they were slightly too much for me, and the only reason it didn't get the 5th star.

So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating a wonderful and engaging story that was almost impossible to put down.

I will definitely be looking out for more books by this author.
