I rate Friendshipped by Savannah Scott 3 stars. I see how people that like young love/first real relationship books with small Midwestern town feels may like it, but it is too wholesome for what I like my romance novels to be. There is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone liking any of these things, I am just not the intended audience.

Amy McFadden is one of my favorite narrators and she didn't disappoint. Will Damron was fine as well.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media for providing me with an ALC.

I loved this one from start to finish!! The pacing was perfect, it was so funny and the love story just right. I saw that it is the beginning of a series and I cannot wait to read the rest! I listened to the audio version and I can’t say enough good things about the narrators- I even looked for more books narrated by each of them so I can hear their voices more.

Lexi and Trevor have been friends since their nappy age. Throughout the years there were two false attempts at romance, both initiated by Trevor. However, the possibility that their romance can destroy their close friendship has kept the two in a friend zone. Their recent effort to date other people just made them realize the love they have for each other. But the hardest part is to cross the friend line.

Friendshipped is a cute romance. Lexi and Trevor's friendship was unique. Although I loved their bond, I felt that Trevor was the only person who made multiple attempts to shift their friendship into romance, while all Lexi had ever done was drool over her hot best friend. Overall, it's a fine romance, with great writing, and an idea of the plot, and I absolutely enjoyed the sarcastic dialogue between the characters. If you're a fan of Hallmark movies and corky romances - this novel is for you.

Thank you, NetGalley for a free and advanced copy of the novel.

Lexi and Trevor have been friends most of their lives and have occasionally been tempted to cross the front barrier but it never happens. Now, being best friends, working together, living next door to each other, something's got to give. In an attempt to console a friend after a breakup, and with her sister's wedding coming up, Lexi gets talked into setting up a dating profile which leads to high comedy dates and Trevor coming to his senses.

A cute little friends to lovers rom-com and a light fluffy read.

This book had a lot of potential, however, there was honestly not a lot of substance to it.

I felt like the author was so concerned with making sure that we understood how madly in love they were with each other, that there was little room left for substance. It was mostly just narration of them pining for each other. It got a little repetitive and made for a not so interesting listen/read.

Friendshipped by Savannah Scott was a cute RomCom that showed us exactly how wrong and how long misunderstandings can go between friends. Lexi and Trevor take us on their journeys of best friends who secretly pine for each other for over a decade, but haven’t tried for anything more because of misunderstandings and worries of losing the other’s friendship.

When they try dating other people from in and around their small town, and continue supporting each other through those disasters, it is comedy gold! I mean, it’s not every day that one gets to date a giant ginger oompa-loompa and have your best friend standing outside, waiting for you, gardening with giant pruning sheers in the middle of the night (lest the oompa loompa get any ideas).

Oh, did I mention that these 2 besties share a duplex? And work together? All while Lexi is next-level in love with Channing Tatum?

This is a fun read, and can totally work as a stand-alone (even though it’s part of a series). I literally finished it in one day because I could not put it down.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the advanced listening copy!!

The sweetest and purest.

I adored so much about this book. The best friends to lovers trope can be so intense, this sweeter side of it was refreshing. It made me laugh and smile and was so fast paced I wanted more.

If you’re looking for a non spicy romance, this is your book.

I received an ARC audiobook from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media .

"Your captivation is showing. You may want to tuck that in."

The hilarious rom com Friend(Shipped) by very funny author Savannah Scott
is romance comedy gold.

Lexi and Trevor has known each other forever, there are pictures of them bathing together as babies. They are BFF who live in an adjoining duplex. Though each is in love with the other, bad timing and fears of losing their friendship have kept them romantically apart.

Narrators Amy Mcfadden and Will Damron are adorable as the long time wanna be lovers and their comedic antics worthy of a RomCom movie.

There are good hearted nosy friends, a randy grandmother and some horrendous online dates for Lexi (one asks her if she's in a frisky mood after an awful dinner), and Trevor doing midnight gardening with sharp shears waiting for her to come home. When Trevor and a mutual friend concoct to trick Lexi into admitting falling for Trevor can it be the the answer to their misconstrued love or sink their friendship?

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

I really wanted to like this audiobook. The description seemed so cute, and seemed like something I would definitely like. Unfortunately I did not enjoy much in this book.

I felt each POV was redundant, where they each would say how much they love the other since forever, but neither one felt they could act upon it. It got pretty frustrating at times.

Unfortunately in the over 300 pages of this book, nothing really substantial happens. There is no conflict what so ever. I feel there were some missed opportunities here, for example how [ Lexi goes to message her online date TJ that she was in love w her best friend, maybe could have had it where Meg had gotten a hold of Trevor's phone and told her to not confess to her best friend... or something like that. And when Lexi found out Trevor was actually TJ she just accepted it. Didn't say how deceiving that was or anything. (hide spoiler)]

In relation to the audi0book, I found the female narrator to be a bit annoying, but had a good flow. The male narrator was good, and had good timing.

I feel like the book had potential for sure, but just sort of fizzled out, and I had a hard time caring about what happened to the characters. At this point I won't be continuing on with this series.

Savannah Scott’s Friendshipped is a super cute friends to lovers romance. Lexi and Trevor have been lifelong friends. Everyone thinks they should be together. And the truth is that they are crazy about each other, only unwilling to admit it to each other. There was once an ‘almost’ kiss and once a declaration of wanting to possibly try for more than friendship. However the timing was never right and now when either of them even thinks about taking their relationship to the next level they fear ruining their friendship. In a story like this the ending is never really in question, it’s just all about the journey. And Friendshipped is a wonderfully sweet and amusing, slow burn journey. The audio narration is excellent. While I wasn’t familiar with Will Damron, who narrates the chapters from Travor’s POV, I thought he did a very good job. The chapters told from Lexi’s POV are narrated by Amy McFadden who is one of my favorite narrators and always a pleasure to listen to. I’d like to thank Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to an ARC of the audio version of Friendshipped.

This was a cute, but very slow-burn friends-to-lover story. This is probably more of a 3.5/5 stars.

I did get a bit frustrated because it took soooooo long for something to happen and I know that can happen with friends-to-lovers books. And while it did mention why they didn't have those conversations, I was still yelling at them to talk about their feelings.

Lexi and Trevor are childhood best friends who grew up next door to each other. They had a couple of chances to explore a romantic possibility when they were younger, but those didn't work out. Now Lexi is trying to move on but keeps on getting pulled back to Trevor. It doesn't help that they live in the same duplex. And work together. And drive to work together. They're the best of friends and spend so much time together so she's afraid to lose that by trying to explore something more.

I enjoyed the characters, the dual POV, the narrators for the audiobook, and the small-town setting.

I listened to an advanced copy of this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media!

Best friends Trevor and Lexi are in love with each other. Neither knows of the other's feelings and both are afraid to take that next step. As a way to get Trevor out of her system, Lexi attempts a few disastrous dates with men she finds through dating sites. Trevor finally decides to take matters into his own hands by also signing up for one of the dating sites with an alias.

Friendshipped is a sweet friends to more romance. While it is the first book of the Getting Shipped series, it can be read as a stand alone. This clean romance is also a bit of a slow burn. There is some kissing but nothing spicy.

Friends to more can always be a little angsty but this book is well balanced. The author does a good job with giving us enough of the MCs history so their dynamic is understandable. I appreciate that their backstory is spread throughout the book and not just dumped at the beginning. I love that you see not only the developments in the MCs relationship but also the growth in their other friendships.

I enjoyed the narrators chosen for this (Amy McFadden & Will Damron) The book is written in dual POVs and they really brought life to the characters.

Savannah Scott continues to impress me with her fun and unique storylines and her relatable characters. I’ve read all but one book in this series now and can’t wait to listen to the rest of them as audiobooks.

I voluntarily listened to and reviewed an advanced copy of this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media!

A nice closed door sweet rom com. This is a very very slow burn. As an audiobook I felt like the pace of speech was slow. When sped up the sound was off. The narrators were clear and easy to listen to however I didn’t feel like they match the characters.

I really like this couple, and really love that they have a great friendship with a firm foundation to build upon. They made me laugh and a bit frustrated. The elephant in the room was just a little too dragged out to me considering that they were individually well aware of wanting more. They are perfect for one another with a great, supportive meddling from family and the community. Both narrators did an excellent job!!

This book had everything I loved in a good rom-com:
-small town with meddling neighbors - check
-childhood friends with hidden feelings for each other - check
-dual POV with great audiobook narration - check
-supportive group of friends
-dating app fun! - check

This book was so funny, cute and sweet. I found myself rooting for Lexi and Trevor's relationship throughout the entire book. I also really enjoyed the introduction to Laura and Rob and am excited to see how their love story evolved in the second book of this series.

Overall, I would whole-heartedly recommend!

3.5 Stars

This was a really cute. really clean story.
Lexi and Trevor were life long friends. Due to a few unfortunate events they never tried to be more than friends.
Proving hard - they both pine for each other.

I rated this book PG 13 -

I got an ARC of the audiobook from NetGalley. I'm a sucker for a cute childhood friends to lovers and this was exactly that. I loved the friendship between Lexi and Trevor, as well as between their other friends. I do wish that the author explored more of the "TJ" and Lexi dating app relationship before having her realize she wants to be with Trevor. There wasn't a ton of conflict and the conflict there was resolved really quickly. But it was a fun listen and I'm excited for the rest of the series when I need a cute, small town romance.

I picked up the ebook of this from a promo not that long ago, and had been meaning to read it ever since. As a mostly audio reader, other books were always getting ahead of it. I saw the ALC come up on NetGalley and was super excited - a book I desperately wanted to read, coming to audio! What better time and reason to get it to the top of my reading list!

I knew before starting that it was a “sweet and swoony” - meaning clean romance. I knew from the title (no blurb necessary) that it would be about friends stuck in the friend zone that were trying to break beyond to something more, but neither would be brave enough. This is exactly what it was! Very sweet, totally friend-zone, each trying to date but watch for signs the other would be open to something more, but not wanting to hurt the best friend dynamic.

What I never would have guessed would have been that it was a torturously slow climb to get there… and it wasn’t even a slow burn romance with a steamy payoff at the end for making us listen to over 9 hours first! Ok - it was sweet - a good story, great characters and the friendships were excellent, but that relationship doesn’t appear until basically the last chapter - I really would have loved (loved, loved, loved) for it to settle in sooner in the book and we could get a few chapters of life with them as a couple! It was so much effort to get there, and then it was just over!

Audio - narrated by Amy McFadden and Will Damron. I always enjoy Amy McFadden when I listen to one of her books! I don’t think she’s done too many books that I’ve listened to, so far, but I always thoroughly enjoy her performances each read, this being no exception! Will Damron, on the other hand…. he sounded like he was 65 at the beginning, and really, truly didn’t suit the role or character. I guess by about halfway through I got used to it, but surely there was someone else out there who would have been available with a younger sounding voice would have fit the part better? I didn’t enjoy him on this one. I thought I recognized his name as having listened to him before, but I guess I hadn’t?

Another very great book made even better listening to audio, even with the rocky start of the “old” sounding voice. I did read along with the ebook for part of it. I would definitely recommend picking this one up for everyone (young and old alike), because it is wholesome, clean and fun, if a bit slow, especially on audio.

I received an advance copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

“My dating life consists of nursery rhymes come to life.”

This was a sweet romcom…no spice. Just a kiss here or there. So if you don’t need spicy for your romcoms then this would be a good choice.

I personally enjoy some spice (a heaping helping) in my romance / romcoms…HOWEVER, this one didn’t really need spice to keep me interested. It was sweet with a great cast of characters.

I was invested the whole way through and definitely recommend checking it out for a quick, lighthearted read.

It had Hallmark Channel love story vibes. It’s a light read with lots of moments that will make you smile.

First book in the Getting Shipped! series

Lexi and Trevor are best friends. They do everything together. Lexi has been in love with Trevor forever but the two times they tried to cross the line, it ended in disaster. She cares about him too much to put their friendship in jeopardy, so she ignores her feelings. After bad date after bad date, she is more convinced that Trevor is perfect for her.

This is a cute, clean romance. But, it is the type of book I hate- the book that wouldn't exist if the main characters had a single honest conversation. This is just me and my feelings on the subject. I enjoyed it enough to continue the series at a later date.

The audiobook has dual narration by Amy McFadden and Will Damron. I always like Amy McFadden and never complain about Will Damron. However, in this book their pace was not in sync. I struggled to find a speed where Trevor's chapters weren't excruciatingly slow and Lexi's chapters weren't too fast.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
