Fine addition to a good series. Just goes to prove that books in series keep getting better--unlike TV/films.
The publisher's blurb is good but doesn't reflect the fun! I devoured the book in one day and will wait impatiently for the next.
Good sleuthing, interesting red herrings, inventive plot twists, and some delightful laughs. I really enjoyed it!
I requested and received an EARC from Kensington Books via NetGalley, Thank you!

Gone But Not For Garden is the 4th book in A Goddess of Greene Street Mystery by Kate Collins. This is the first book I've read in this series and by this author. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. It was a cute cozy mystery and was a satisfying read. The characters are likable, and the cover is just so cute!

The book's plot was solid, and the mystery was good and interesting. I was able to read this book in one day and enjoyed the story. I would recommend this book and this author.

I really enjoyed the 4th installment of this series. I love the way the author includes all of Athena's family members throughout the story. What a fun Greek family! There was an extra twist with this one in that the author included a main character from another cozy series which really added to the mystery and made it a super fun read. I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars!

When one of three models who are married to the town's leaders is murdered, Athena and Chase are called to help clear the MC who is being railroaded for the murder due to an old feud with the victim. Who killed the woman? Was it the mayor's wife? Maybe the police chief's wife? Maybe even one of the husbands? No matter what, Athena and Chase will work with an out of town PI to help solve the case and run the murderer down the runway straight to prison!

Another great entry in this series. I love the large family dynamics and the furry sidekick in this one...Oscar is the cutest! It's like my Big Fat Greek Family meets Jessica Fletcher in her younger years. You can't go wrong with this one, no matter which book you start with as each is fine as a stand alone.

Cute cozy! Athena’s family added some humor throughout the story. In a way predictable but still an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this book. It’s a lot of fun. The characters are engaging and the setting is great. I was surprised by who the killer is. The takedown is suspenseful. #GoneButNotForGarden #NetGalley

Gone But Not For Garden is the 4th of A Goddess of Greene Street Mystery. It takes place in the tourist town of Sequoia, Michigan. Athena Spencer is the main character. She works for her father at Spencer's Garden Center as well part owner of The Greene Street Detective Agency with her boyfriend and partner, Case Donnelly. Lila Talbot is their silent partner.

Jullian Osborne is at the charity show run by Fran Decker owner of Fabulous Fashions. She is overseeing the models needs including water which she puts in the dressing rooms for each model. Carly Blackburn a divorced PTA President, Hope Louvain, wife of the police chief and Eleni Sloan, the mayor's wife are all modeling the clothes. The mayor, Charles Sloan makes a small speech as he is up for re-election. Jullian is the emcee and describes the clothes as the models walk down the runway. When Carly is called she does not show up and when they go back stage and look for her they find her dead in her dressing room. The police are called. They suspect Jillian as she put the water out. They found poison in her water. Jullian is held on suspicion of murder but against the police order she leaves town and is arrested and charged with obstruction of justice. They found poison in Carly's water which is later described s

Abby Knight Salvare owner of Bloomers Flower Shop comes to the detective agency to ask for Athena's help in finding her cousin a lawyer as well as work with her to find the real killer. She and her husband Marco are PI's and own their own detective agency.

Athena comes from a large, close Greek family. She has a son, Nicholas who is 10. They all live at their family's house. Athena has three sisters, Maia, Selene and Delphi who is also dating Bob Maguire who is an officer at the Sequoia Police Department.

There is so much that goes on that it would be hard for to put on paper so I will leave this up to the reader to discover. There is backstabbing, deception and mystery that leads to an exciting climax of who killed Carly and why.

Thank you NetGalley and Kensington Publishing Corp. for this ARC.

This is the fourth book in this highly entertaining cozy mystery series. Althena Spencer comes from a big Greek family and works in her parents garden center in Sequoia. Michigan. She also works with her boyfriend Case in their newly opened detective agency. A model is murdered during a fashion show and Jillian, the emcee, is arrested for her murder, Jillian's cousin, Abby Knight Salvare, comes from Indiana to hire Althena and Case to join forces with her to find the real killer. There are plenty of suspects, including the wives of the mayor and police chief. as well as the victims ex-husband. I love the colorful characters in Althena's family. This book had a solid plot and was a fun quick read that kept me guessing until the end.

I was thrilled that Gone But Not For Garden included a few of my favorite characters from this authors other popular cozy mystery series.
Athena is a great character, and when Abby Knight Salvare suddenly showed up, I knew this book was going to be fantastic!
Athena and her partner Chase are slowly getting their detective agency up and running, and when Abby reaches out to them for help, they can't refuse.
Abby's cousin Jillian is accused of murder, and Abby enlists Athena and Chase to help.

This story is well done with an easy melding of the characters, and I hope this will continue in future books.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.
