Wasn't a fan of the authors writing style, I struggled to get into the book and ended up giving up on it.

I received a free advanced reader copy of “ The Fallen” by Steve Barratt from Net Galley to read and review.
I could not get into this book at all. The author’s florid style was pretentious and ponderous.
I tried and failed to get into the book, hoping for the story to emerge, but it was a struggle to keep interested. Sorry, but no.
