I want to thank Netgalley and the author for the opportunity to read a review copy of this book. If I had to do it over again I think I would recommend reading the previous books in this series, as I think it would set up where the story in this book starts from. As it is, without that, it is a little hard to know how/why elements is the story originated from. However, it is still a pretty action packed Scifi read, that is entertaining and will keep you engaged.

Fires of Fury is an action-packed addition to The Chronicles of Deneb series, a military science fiction adventure that delivers plenty of excitement and tension. Although this book can be read as a standalone, readers are advised to start with the first book in the series to gain a better understanding of the characters and politics. The story follows the exploits of Dr Tara Kobor, Dr Daniel Radu and their team as they navigate espionage, political machinations and romantic interludes while battling their enemies in a galaxy torn apart by war.

The author does a great job of balancing the action with the politics, espionage, and romance in the book. The pacing is fast and the writing is easy to follow, with plenty of tension and suspense to keep readers engaged. The military science fiction setting is well-executed, with enough science and technology to make the story plausible but not so much as to make it too complex. The fight scenes are well-written, and readers will feel their adrenaline pumping as the battles commence.

One potential drawback of the book is that it is not overly science-heavy, so readers who are looking for a more technical, hard science fiction story may be disappointed. However, this is more than compensated by the book's fast pace and engaging characters.

Overall, Fires of Fury is an enjoyable read for fans of military science fiction. The story is action-packed, the characters are engaging, and the plot is well-paced with plenty of twists and turns to keep readers engaged. Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer, this book is sure to provide a thrilling ride through the galaxy.

Fire of Fury is the third novel of The Chronicles of Deneb series. It takes place far from earth, although humans have crashed on a planet and cause a deadly virus to infect the planet.

If you're seeking a shoot-em-up kind of scifi story, this is pretty good. It's probably best to read the previous books in the series first.

Thanks very much for the free review copy for review!!
