I’m almost a year late to the party and disappointed in myself for waiting so long!

I loved Livy Hart’s debut so I was hesitant that her second book wouldn’t live up to my expectations. But it did! And she’s secured herself a spot on my must-read author list!

This was funny and chaotic with a swoony romance. Everything that could go wrong did, and it was so entertaining to see how the characters handled it all.

The progression of the relationship did feel rushed but I think that was part of the charm.

So excited to read more from this author! I definitely won’t be waiting as long to pick her next book up!

We all know that contemporary romances follow a pretty predictable formula, basically to the point that I could look at the percentage on my kindle and tell you what's going to happen within the next few pages. However, there's formulaic romance - comforting, cozy, but can still completely draw you in thanks to the character's chemistry. And then there's generic romance - rote, lacking personality, and easily forgettable. Unfortunately, this was that. I had fun reading it, it wasn't a complete let down, but many I could just not connect with Cassidy and Luke. Something was off in the writing style.

I love a road trip romance. This one made me laugh out loud and also made me feel the feels. I would categorize it new adult. Luke and Carlisle have some forced proximity as they choose to drive across cross country on a timeline (the planes were all grounded and rebooking was a nightmare). I loved their interactions and how they both grew.

Thanks to the publisher for a copy. All opinions are my own.

A comedy of errors this book plays homage to Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but makes it a grumpy sunshine romance. Cute and poignant, it was a great, fun read.

Trifecta of bad luck for a trip home you’re already dreading. Throw in a very attractive guy that keeps making it worse… til they’re stuck getting to know each better and trying to make it from NC to LA.
The best part for me is as her dad she stops to see in the way… his profession and the names of his other daughters -hilarious!
The best of Christina Lauren with Tessa Bailey spice.

Cassidy is on her way home for her sister's wedding. Luke is on his way home for a surprise visit with his family. Together, nothing can stop them from getting to California even though everything seems to try.

I loved this comical, adventurous little gem from start to finish!

The banter between Cassidy and Luke wasn't your typical enemies-to-lovers type. Cassidy's kindness goes a long way, but unknowingly, Luke pushed her to her limits reasonably early on, and her no-nonsense attitude toward him kept my attention. Between Luke's innocent charm and Cassidy's easy friendliness, they found some common ground and decided to work together to get home in one piece.

While Cassidy and Luke's family issues and struggles motivated them to continue their trip, it didn't stop them from taking time out for themselves and each other. If you can survive a cross-country trip with the struggles these two characters faced, I'm pretty sure you can survive anything.

And whoa - the tension build-up and spice in this book just about melted my Kindle screen! 😮‍💨 I'm not sure I'll think about a convertible the same way again. 🥵

Thank you, Livy Hart, Entangled Publishing LLC, and NetGalley, for the opportunity to read and review this book!

All the Hallmark girlies need to get on this.

It’s your favorite “Going home for [wedding/holiday], but everything is going wrong, and now I’m driving cross-country with a stranger” trope. 🚗

However, unlike Hallmark, this strangers-to-lovers story has the G-rated scenes you love and the R-rated spice you crave. 🥵 Including an A+ scene at Arches involving a convertible. You don’t want to miss it!

Oh & did I mention it’s dual POV & dual narrator? Cause it is & it’s fantastic!

Thank you to @entangled_publishing for the ARC. This one is out now.

A charming and creative rom com adaptation of PLANES, TRAINS, and AUTOMOBILES that never turns off the charm factor. Fun, flirty, and sexy, expertly balancing romantic tension and conflict.

This was super cute! I loved the grumpy sunshine element, and it was just a happy romcom with happy feels. Great pick-me-up read

This book was so much fun. I love a travel/ road trip romance, so when these strangers packed into a car to team up to make their way cross country, I knew I was in for a treat.

Cassidy and Luke are complete opposites. They had a lot of time to get to know each other throughout the road trip, and it was fun to meet each character alongside the other.

This book perfectly balances silly and serious. Cassidy and Luke both have a lot of depth--there's a lot of discussion about familial obligation, which each character is dealing with differently.

I worked on the design for one of the stores Cassidy and Luke went to in Vegas, so that's a cool connection.

I'm certainly interested in reading more of Livy's books. She had me hooked with this one!

This was a cute romance. I liked the differences and chemistry between the main characters. I liked the plot and the tension, and the outside influences.

Do you know that feeling you get when you find the perfect snack? That’s this book.

With one of the most perfect meet diasters, to the road trip filled with banter, swooning, and only one bed, Livy Hart knocks this one out of the park. The spice is everything but nice and will keep you begging her to write more and more. One of the best books that I have read in 2023, and I can't wait to reread it.

- Enemies to Friends to Lovers
- Only one bed
- Grumpy/sunshine
- Forced proximity

I read this back in February and posted my review to Goodreads, but forgot to send it here!

Such a cute and fun read!
I work in the travel industry, so when I saw the title of this book, I knew I had to read it! It did not disappoint. It had my attention from the very second Luke stole Cassidy’s parking spot. I love the banter and witty comments.
Speaking of Luke, is he my new book boyfriend? Absolutely. He literally gave me all the feels.
This author has become an automatic read for me.

Thank you to the author and Entangled Publishing for my ARC copy, in exchange for my honest review!

Man oh man this book was equal parts hilarious and hot!!!! Cassidy and Luke were so good together I gobbled up the pages. The build up and backstory for both characters was so well done. I was so invested not only in their story together but also separately! I can not wait for the next book int he series!!! Even though the story took a second to take off, when it did it did!! I will recommend this book to everyone who wants a hot and adventurous read.

"Anyone who doesn’t see how incredible you are doesn’t deserve your kindness. Believe me, it’s their loss. And I’m not just talking about back then. Got it?”

This is everything I want in a road trip romance read--chaos, hilarity, wildly unrealistic but totally believable circumstances, forced proximity with a couple already teeming with tension--it really made for a fun time.

I loved the banter, the steam (Vegas, baby!!!) and the growth these two experienced together. Livy makes stories feel effortless to read--I am obsessed with her writing style! Thanks to Entangled and NetGalley for the earc.

A story full of laughs, pain, and life. This book was such a good romcom it's become a weekend read for me!

This one started a little slow and was full of some ridiculous predicaments, but I still loved the characters and how they each grew from their experiences. I feel the grumpy/sunshine resolved itself pretty quickly but the characters were so fun it didn't matter.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels was my first experience reading from author Livy Hart. I feel like I was almost reading a different book than most. There wasn't anything wrong with it per se I just wasn't enjoying myself. The writing was okay, I just never found myself connecting to the characters and their heavy backstories.

Cassidy is a choreographer and the black sheep of the family. Her sister is getting married and Cassidy needs to fly home to perform her maid of honor duties. Luke is a by the books kind of guy. He shoulders the responsibility of financially taking care of his mother, single mom sister and her children. After a series of slapstick issues, Luke and Cassidy agree to travel across country together (in the only rental car left) to get to their respective family emergencies in California.

I was excited to read a forced proximity road trip with strangers. Unfortunately, it was all too much. Both characters had a lot of baggage. Add on broken windows on planes, no rental cars, car crashes, train schedules, more planes. It was transportation chaos. 2.5 Stars rounded up.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for this eARC. All opinions expressed are my own.

I couldn't make it very far into this book. The male MC perspective was a little cringe and I couldn't find myself motivated to want to see what happened to either character.
