I struggled a bit with this book. I really wanted to love it but I found Cassidy to be hard to relate to and written like she was supposed to be quirky without being quirky. Overall the plot was a fun one but it just wasnโ€™t for me.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels by Livy Hart was a super cute romcom. This is the perfect opposites attract as we have Cassidy, a carefree spirit, and Luke, a plan every detail guy. The chemistry is strong between these two. The reader sees it from the beginning but it takes our characters a lot longer to figure it out. I enjoyed the laugh out loud banter between them and loved how this story turned out. This is definitely a recommended book!

It was okay. I don't get all the hype and maybe it's because there were some big no-no's for me in this book.

There was NOT enough dialogue. If you go a whole chapter with no dialogue, only internal musings and ruminations, it's going to get on my last nerve and that happens here. Internal thoughts become repetitive as the character worries over something again and again and that leads to boredom for me which leads to skimming. I NEED the dialogue.

The progression of these two characters feelings for each other was kind of bizarre. They go from not liking each other, to being stuck in each other's company, to a near death experience (which was a highlight for me, hilarious) to not imagining being with each other, to the L word in a matter of days. I don't get stabby over insta-love plots but once we got to California the whole plot felt rushed. Therefore, I think the pacing was a little lopsided for me.

Ultimately I liked the idea of the story, maybe just didn't prefer the authors choice of execution? I need dialogue so if that is not a thing for this author I will have to pass on future books by them.

This was the romcom I didnโ€™t know I needed. It had everything I could have wanted. The banter and chemistry between Lucas and Cassidy was fantastic. They had me smiling and laughing from the first chapter. If something absurd could have happened to them, it did. This book was delightfully chaotic and I loved every second of it.

Cassidy and Lucas had a not so cute, meet cute that resulted in her being less than thrilled to be sitting near him on her flight to California. But despite a rocky start Cassidyโ€™s kindness and compassion meant that after their plan was grounded and when only one rental car was left, Lucas offered to share it with her so they could both get home. If only they knew that a grounded plane was the least of their problems.

I loved that despite being a hilarious romcom, there were more serious elements of this book. Both characters struggled with self worth and complicated family dynamics that made them feel like they were never doing enough. Despite being such polar opposites Cassidy and Lucas had so much in common and once they got out of their own way, they were able to be the support the other need.

I was so sad when this book was over. Itโ€™s the next day and Iโ€™m still smiling thinking about it. I have my fingers crossed that there will be a second book in this series with Will and Berkeley as the main characters.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels has it all. I laughed, cried, got angry, and grinned like a fool. Forced proximity brought them together but feelings made them stay together, oh and a emergent need to travel across the country.

When a cross-country trip turns into a nightmare, unlikely duo Cassidy Bliss and Luke Carlisle try to make the best of the trip. I loved how two strangers united with the same goal - get to California. Each had their own reasons but I enjoyed watching them together as they learned about it other and got to know one another better.

I loved Cassidy and Luke and how they interacted. I am a huge fan of Berkeley, and everyone should aspire to have a best friend just like her. I really hope we get a book where she's the main character.

The book is perfectly paced, full of ups and downs, and written well. I love the author's writing style, voice, and how the point-of-view bounces between Cassidy and Luke. Be prepared to become so engrossed in this story the world around you disappears.

I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK.

While I really liked this author's first book (Talk Flirty To Me), PLANES, TRAINS, AND ALL THE FEELS is next level amazing!

Luke and Cassie are the enemies-to-lovers, opposites attract, will-they-or-wont-they couple I needed in my life! The setting of a road trip gone hilariously wrong is snort-laugh perfection.

And the slow burn leads to SERIOUS STEAM that was h-o-t!

PLANES, TRAINS, AND ALL THE FEELS has laughs, spice, and funny occurrences. But it also tackles family expectations, loving yourself, meaningful friendships, and loss, with thoughtfulnessโ€”without ever feeling too heavy. A smutty rom-com that also makes you think!

Are Luke and Cassie my new favorite book couple? YES.

I recommend PLANES, TRAINS, AND ALL THE FEELS a gazillion percent! Read it!

I was hooked with this book right from the start! The banter and misunderstandings between the two main characters were great. One thing I will point out and then move on from because it shouldnโ€™t be a reason to judge the book, is that when they ended up stuck in Kansas City for a night, I was so excited since that is where I live. But then they had a weird restaurant and hotel that were supposedly famous locally. I mean, come on and pick something that actually makes sense to be in KC or do some research about places actually here in town. Both places picked were not something weโ€™d probably have here, and the restaurant sounded like one that is actually in another city in another state. And, I think in Colorado they stopped for bbq, which, um, excuse me, KC makes the best, so they should have had that there!

However, other than that little bit, I loved all the travels they had. There were a lot of fun stops all throughout the country. I definitely enjoyed their stops at gas stations, and all the extra rides they got too. What happened to their first rental car was insane though! The stop in Vegas was a blast, very romantic and definitely sexy. And I loved when they stopped to visit her dad. I adored him!

Once they got to LA though, wow, things were a big old mess for both of their families. And that is where some of the really hard stuff happened in how they both dealt with things. However it was mostly realistic I think, their feelings and emotions, and I liked the way that all played out. In the end this was a really fun road trip romance type of story and I look forward to reading more by the author in the future!

This was the first book I've read by Livy Heart. I took a chance on this as I'm picky about the romcoms I enjoy. This one didn't make it. I just don't have the same since of humor as this author. I found myself "rolling my eyes" often. It was well written and character driven. You may feel completely different than I do!

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC of this book. This is my voluntary and honest review.

Cassidy has always played second fiddle to her amazing sister, Isabelle. However, when she is now asked to be the Maid of Honor in her wedding, she has to face her fears, including her mother, and get back to CA. From the start, her trip starts off on a bad foot with a snow storm in North Carolina. It only gets worse as she tangles with a well put together guy. It just so happened that this guy, Luke, ends up being on her flight to CA. This is where the travel gods go from bad to the impossible for Cass and Luke. As these opposites turn to each other in their time of need, there might be a bit more happening than just a road trip back home. The interstate might provide these two more than just a way home as it might show them a way to a new found happiness.

If you are looking for a steamy happily ever after romance for the summer, look no further! Planes, Trains and All the Feels has steam, laughter, frustration, more steam and so much adventure packed in these pages. I could definitely relate to so much of the travel issues that Cass and Luke went through. I am still waiting to meet my own Luke during these adventures, but since I travel almost every week, my changes continue to be high. Absolutely add this to the summer romance read list. You wonโ€™t be disappointed.

Thank you Net Galley, Entangled Publishing and Livy Hart for the advanced copy for my honest review. This is comes out today, so make sure you get this one as the perfect plane read for your next trip! Maybe youโ€™ll luck out and meet your own Luke.

PLANES, TRAINS AND ALL THE FEELS is an unexpectedly funny, sexy read between two strangers bound for California when the unthinkable happens, problems involving transportation. Cassidy Bliss, a stunning dancer, needs to go home for her sister's wedding. However, her parking spot is swiped by a gorgeous guy, making her miss her shuttle. She soon discovers that the infuriating fella is on the same plane as her. Just great! On top of that, Cassidy finds herself agreeing to drive cross country with the exasperating stranger! There is a car disaster, a slow, wrong train, and more. Can this get any worse?

Luke Carlisle, a swoony, handsome man, is an actuary, dedicated to spreadsheets. His day starts off fine until he meets Cassidy who gets under his skin in more ways than one. They get off to a rough start, argue non-stop, while navigating transportation issues. They discover things about each other that they don't anticipate. Being with each other the whole trip, emotions are aired and undeniable chemistry crackles between them. Cassidy finds herself enjoying Luke's company more and more. But, she isn't ready to leap into a relationship, especially with a random guy she just met. Luke is also wary of romance, even though he is entranced by beautiful Cassidy. Will they realize that they go together like two pieces of a puzzle?

Ms. Hart delivers a successful novel involving an argumentative couple who couldn't be more wrong for each other. They travel across country bickering and bantering, leaving me in stitches laughing, all the while flirting with one another. It is bound to happen in such close quarters while traveling. Their attraction to one another heats up and had me fanning myself. This is such a charming enemies-to-lovers romance that you will want to read it again! Ms. Hart delivers an unpredictable plot line with laughs galore from start to finish. Chatty Cassidy and crabby Luke had a bumpy start. Will they stick together at they end? Read this dynamite story to found out. Traveling with Cassidy and Luke is entertaining and dicey, but you'll be glad you made the trip!

Thanks to NetGalley for access to an advanced reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is just fun, it's filled with witty banter, snarky comments, some amazingly well-done spice, I can't believe it moments that had me laughing out loud, and so much more, I can't count the number of times I found myself just waiting for Cassidy and Luke to figure out what we can all see the chemistry was there from the very beginning and it was perfect.

Cassidy, a free spirit black sheep of the family, and Luke, mr I need to plan every moment of every day seem like they would be opposites and they are, but that's what makes this book a fantastic romantic comedy.

The range of emotions in this book, anxiety, spice, and everything in between and I loved every page of it. If you're looking for a funny hate-to-love road trip or rom-com in general this is the book for you, I enjoyed this book so much and can't wait to read more by this author.

I picked this book up on a whim and I am beyond happy I did, it by far exceeded all of my expectations and I loved it so much. This story was filled with absolute, ridiculous chaos and had me laughing out loud often. It was so fun and funny with the perfect amount of spice for a rom-com.

I adored both of these characters so much. Their meet cute was not exactly cute and led to a enemies to friends to lovers trope, but it was so perfect for them. They both misunderstood each other on bad first impressions, but after a "just one car" situation they were forced to get to know each other better and slowly fell in love. I think my favorite part was that they did so with the other's true self, something neither party had ever experienced in the past.

The family aspect of this story was really compelling too. Both of them gave so much of themselves and their happiness to their families that they were almost just shells of themselves. I hated their moms so much it made we want to cry.... Especially when we meet Cass's dad, I mourned for her lost relationship with him. I think the scene where they go to his house was one of my favorites of the book, it was so funny and heartwarming.

While this was my first book from Livy, it certainly won't be my last. I'll be hitting her back list and then hoping we get a second story in this world because I'm not ready to let it go and I need to know how Will and Berkeley's relationship plays out.

This is a really good Rom Com for most of the book. Cassidy and Luke meet up,as both are traveling to California to see family, but things definitely go awry and it was fun to see their road trip. I really liked these characters and how they went about their relationship. The ending gets a little heavy when both families get involved, but it has a satisfying HEA. Really enjoyed the writing, and I hope we get another book about Berkeley and Will. Quite enjoyable

This was such a cute book! I really struggled with picking it up because I just wasnโ€™t in the mood to do anything at all, and the next thing I knew it was an hour past my bedtime and I was 25% through. I hated having to put it down and I picked it up again every spare second I had. I desperately needed all the laughs this book provided. Cass and Lukeโ€™s fighting was hilarious, and the way they slowly opened up to each other and realized there was so much more to the other was so fun to watch. There were plenty of heart wrenching moments as wellโ€”both their emotional trauma from their families was tough to read without tearing up, but it made them feel so much more real because of it.

I really enjoyed this book!

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is a delightful romantic comedy that explores the dynamics of forced proximity. This funny, steamy, and propulsive romp is a page-turner that will leave you wanting more. The story follows the journey of two strangers who find themselves stuck together on a long and eventful trip. As they navigate through various modes of transportation, they discover unexpected feelings and a connection that they never thought was possible. Hart's writing style is engaging and witty, making the story both entertaining and relatable.

Livy Heart was a new-to-me author with this delightful rom-com, but this wonโ€™t be the last book of hers I read. I started reading it as a read-along in a book-loving group Iโ€™m a member of, but I couldnโ€™t stop reading it when I reached the end of our first set of chapters. I kept up with the discussion but finished it in only a handful of hours. Itโ€™s chocked full of travel headaches (never again will I bemoan my own travel woes!) that somehow make you laugh out loud, witty banter, chemistry, and, as the story unfolds, some surprisingly heartwarming and swoony moments to round it all out. Cassidy and Luke, our heroine and hero, are relatable and likable (as even Luke grows on you more and more as the plot unfolds), and despite being complete opposites in almost every way, they complement each other in the best possible ways. With plenty of heart, a bit of heat, and the enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, and forced proximity tropes, this story will keep you delightfully engaged from start to finish.

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for this ARC. I was very interested in this book based off the synopsis and it was even better than I anticipated. I had such a crush on not only the main characters, Cassidy and Luke, but also on Berkley and Will. Livy Hart wrote the most likeable characters.

The banter was great, the back story of the characters with their individual family drama was great and felt authentic. Often when family drama is introduced in a character story, it can feel contrived, but everything in this story flowed and felt genuine.

The steam was so much better than I thought it'd be and the scenes were hot. To me, this reminds me of Scandalized in that it's a well written romance, but has the steam of a badly written smut book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and I want, no need, a book on Berkley and Will. Please and thank you.

โš ๏ธcw: alcoholism, addiction, cheatingโš ๏ธ Cassidy Bliss is on her way home for her sister's wedding. When the plane is diverted, she finds herself sharing the only remaining rental car with data-orientated Luke Carlisle. Luke is quite possibly the most risk-averse man Cassidy has ever met. Meanwhile, he finds her seemingly carefree, sunshine nature overwhelming. But, as they make their way across the country and learn more about each other, neither can deny their attraction or how much they have in common.
I loved both characters immediately. They were each drowning under expectations, neither could hope to ever live up to. Luke reminded me a tiny bit of Reuben from 'Along Came Polly'. He was such a complex character. I loved his intensity but also his depth of feeling. My heart broke for how much pressure he put on himself. Cass was hilarious but also so vulnerable, and I really felt for her. Her self-esteem was so low.
The early part of the story felt like the best road trip movie, with plenty of crazy situations and physical comedy. But I loved how adorable they became together, and holy moly! The chemistry was incendiary. That ferris wheel scene made my brain short-circuit, as did the rest of their time in Vegas. I also really loved how supportive they became of each other and the gentle development of their relationship. Nothing felt forced.
But this story is an emotional rollercoaster. It deals with some weighty topics, and while I won't spoil anything, my heart broke for Luke and his sister.* I cried a LOT near the end, both sad and happy tears. That ending, as well as the epilogue, was perfection. There are some brilliant side characters: I loved Cass's father; and I NEED more of Berkeley and Will from that airport Facetime alone!
This was my first book by Livy Hart, but it won't be my last. What a hilarious but also heartbreakingly gorgeous read!

This book was a great mix of funny and all the feels. The premise was enough to pull me in and the author delivered from start to finish. That doesn't always happen. This book had great chemistry between the Luke and Cassidy and fun dialogue. It had solid conflict to keep me interested from start to finish. I think road trip stories can sometimes drag, but this one held my attention. This book was a fantastic ride and a great summer read. Huge thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels by Livy Hart
Rating: 4.5 stars
Steam: 2 chilis
Pub Date: 5/23

After loving Livy Hartโ€™s previous book, "Talk Flirty to Me," I had high expectations for this one, and it did not disappoint! "Planes, Trains, and All the Feels" is a strangers-to-lovers road trip romance with enemies-to-lovers vibes that hooked me from beginning to end.

The story revolves around Cassidy Bliss, a choreographer determined to make it home for her sister's wedding without disappointing her family again. But little did she know that her journey would involve sharing a rental car with the guy who cut her off in line at the airport that morning.

Driving across the country with Luke Carlisle, who believes life can be solved with a spreadsheet, was definitely not Cassidy's idea of a good time. However, despite their differences, there was an undeniable chemistry between them. Hart did an incredible job of building their connection, from their bumpy first encounter to becoming travel companions and eventually falling in love. The relationship felt so genuine and believable, despite the short timeline.

I absolutely adored the characters of Luke and Cassidy. They were complete opposites, which made their interactions all the more entertaining. The forced proximity during the road trip was brilliant, and I found myself fully immersed in their journey. This book had it all: laughter, swooning, and unexpected twists that kept me on my toes. And let me tell you, the slow-burn romance paid off with some seriously spicy moments toward the end.

Livy Hart has a knack for crafting unique meet cutes and compelling love stories. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a fun and heartfelt romance. You won't be able to resist falling in love with Luke and Cassidy as they navigate their way through hilarious and sometimes challenging situations.

Read if you like:
*Opposites attract
*Road trips
*Slow burn
*Grumpy/sunshine
*Complicated family dynamics
