This was such a cute book! I really struggled with picking it up because I just wasn’t in the mood to do anything at all, and the next thing I knew it was an hour past my bedtime and I was 25% through. I hated having to put it down and I picked it up again every spare second I had. I desperately needed all the laughs this book provided. Cass and Luke’s fighting was hilarious, and the way they slowly opened up to each other and realized there was so much more to the other was so fun to watch. There were plenty of heart wrenching moments as well—both their emotional trauma from their families was tough to read without tearing up, but it made them feel so much more real because of it.
I really enjoyed this book!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is a delightful romantic comedy that explores the dynamics of forced proximity. This funny, steamy, and propulsive romp is a page-turner that will leave you wanting more. The story follows the journey of two strangers who find themselves stuck together on a long and eventful trip. As they navigate through various modes of transportation, they discover unexpected feelings and a connection that they never thought was possible. Hart's writing style is engaging and witty, making the story both entertaining and relatable.

Livy Heart was a new-to-me author with this delightful rom-com, but this won’t be the last book of hers I read. I started reading it as a read-along in a book-loving group I’m a member of, but I couldn’t stop reading it when I reached the end of our first set of chapters. I kept up with the discussion but finished it in only a handful of hours. It’s chocked full of travel headaches (never again will I bemoan my own travel woes!) that somehow make you laugh out loud, witty banter, chemistry, and, as the story unfolds, some surprisingly heartwarming and swoony moments to round it all out. Cassidy and Luke, our heroine and hero, are relatable and likable (as even Luke grows on you more and more as the plot unfolds), and despite being complete opposites in almost every way, they complement each other in the best possible ways. With plenty of heart, a bit of heat, and the enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, and forced proximity tropes, this story will keep you delightfully engaged from start to finish.

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for this ARC. I was very interested in this book based off the synopsis and it was even better than I anticipated. I had such a crush on not only the main characters, Cassidy and Luke, but also on Berkley and Will. Livy Hart wrote the most likeable characters.
The banter was great, the back story of the characters with their individual family drama was great and felt authentic. Often when family drama is introduced in a character story, it can feel contrived, but everything in this story flowed and felt genuine.
The steam was so much better than I thought it'd be and the scenes were hot. To me, this reminds me of Scandalized in that it's a well written romance, but has the steam of a badly written smut book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and I want, no need, a book on Berkley and Will. Please and thank you.

⚠️cw: alcoholism, addiction, cheating⚠️ Cassidy Bliss is on her way home for her sister's wedding. When the plane is diverted, she finds herself sharing the only remaining rental car with data-orientated Luke Carlisle. Luke is quite possibly the most risk-averse man Cassidy has ever met. Meanwhile, he finds her seemingly carefree, sunshine nature overwhelming. But, as they make their way across the country and learn more about each other, neither can deny their attraction or how much they have in common.
I loved both characters immediately. They were each drowning under expectations, neither could hope to ever live up to. Luke reminded me a tiny bit of Reuben from 'Along Came Polly'. He was such a complex character. I loved his intensity but also his depth of feeling. My heart broke for how much pressure he put on himself. Cass was hilarious but also so vulnerable, and I really felt for her. Her self-esteem was so low.
The early part of the story felt like the best road trip movie, with plenty of crazy situations and physical comedy. But I loved how adorable they became together, and holy moly! The chemistry was incendiary. That ferris wheel scene made my brain short-circuit, as did the rest of their time in Vegas. I also really loved how supportive they became of each other and the gentle development of their relationship. Nothing felt forced.
But this story is an emotional rollercoaster. It deals with some weighty topics, and while I won't spoil anything, my heart broke for Luke and his sister.* I cried a LOT near the end, both sad and happy tears. That ending, as well as the epilogue, was perfection. There are some brilliant side characters: I loved Cass's father; and I NEED more of Berkeley and Will from that airport Facetime alone!
This was my first book by Livy Hart, but it won't be my last. What a hilarious but also heartbreakingly gorgeous read!

**Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to leave an honest review. Planes, Trains, And All The Feels is published on the 23rd May in the UK**
*On a side note, as a Brit, it boiled my blood that Luke had to even think about money in the hospital.
Favourite Quotes:
'His face morphs into a grimace as he opens the driver’s side door. “There’s no way I’m going to fit in this.” "Title of your sex tape?” He stares blankly my way for about three seconds before I mumble never mind under my breath and take my seat in the smallest cabin that ever was.'
“It was never a question about whether I love you. It was always about having enough to give you. How we could possibly make it work. But, as it turns out, my future doesn’t work without you. Not anymore.”

This book was a great mix of funny and all the feels. The premise was enough to pull me in and the author delivered from start to finish. That doesn't always happen. This book had great chemistry between the Luke and Cassidy and fun dialogue. It had solid conflict to keep me interested from start to finish. I think road trip stories can sometimes drag, but this one held my attention. This book was a fantastic ride and a great summer read. Huge thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

After loving Livy Hart’s previous book, "Talk Flirty to Me," I had high expectations for this one, and it did not disappoint! "Planes, Trains, and All the Feels" is a strangers-to-lovers road trip romance with enemies-to-lovers vibes that hooked me from beginning to end.
The story revolves around Cassidy Bliss, a choreographer determined to make it home for her sister's wedding without disappointing her family again. But little did she know that her journey would involve sharing a rental car with the guy who cut her off in line at the airport that morning.
Driving across the country with Luke Carlisle, who believes life can be solved with a spreadsheet, was definitely not Cassidy's idea of a good time. However, despite their differences, there was an undeniable chemistry between them. Hart did an incredible job of building their connection, from their bumpy first encounter to becoming travel companions and eventually falling in love. The relationship felt so genuine and believable, despite the short timeline.
I absolutely adored the characters of Luke and Cassidy. They were complete opposites, which made their interactions all the more entertaining. The forced proximity during the road trip was brilliant, and I found myself fully immersed in their journey. This book had it all: laughter, swooning, and unexpected twists that kept me on my toes. And let me tell you, the slow-burn romance paid off with some seriously spicy moments toward the end.
Livy Hart has a knack for crafting unique meet cutes and compelling love stories. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a fun and heartfelt romance. You won't be able to resist falling in love with Luke and Cassidy as they navigate their way through hilarious and sometimes challenging situations.

Thank you so much to Entangled Publishing, NetGalley, and Edelweiss for my advanced copy!

Opposites attract, meet cute, bad and cancelled flight forcing a combined road trip, insta’ish love story told from both the main characters perspectives, a concept I absolutely love. Cassidy and Luke are on their ways to spend time with each of their families and the sparks fly. First the sparks are not the good kind and then they migrate to insta-love. They’ve both got lots going on and at their core are different in how they deal with emotions, but muddle through and then the sparks are the WOW kind in the best way. Fun. Then all of the family committments get in the way and the book takes a turn. It does back back to the couple and after some rush and pull, will they won’t they, heartbreak there is the inevitable happily ever after we all came here for. An easy light read.

This is an opposites attract story. Carlisle has a five year plan and is determined to stick with it. Cassandra doesn’t believe in anything but the present. The story is a hilarious compilation in travel. As Carlisle and Cassandra attempt to get from South Carolina to California events force them together where they get to know each other really well. The authors use of humor and wit make this a great book to read. The characters are interesting and wonderful and contribute to this story being a page turner. This is a wonderfully positive story that readers will thoroughly enjoy.

This was a fun opposite attracts romance. I don’t really prefer “insta-love” stories, which this just about is (falling madly in love over the course of a couple days), but the author does a pretty good job at pacing the “hate” to love relationship. I liked both characters well enough, although I still feel like I could have used more time with them slowly falling in love. There were a couple funny things I noticed…Luke says he collects “LEGOs”, but considering his personality and what I understand about them, he probably would have called them “LEGO” or “LEGO bricks”.
Secondly, they were taking a train from Kansas to LA but found out it was not going to arrive until the following morning. Looking at the time it would take to drive that same distance (24 hours not including any stops), it didn’t make sense to me to drive. Staying on the train would have still been faster.
Also, the part of the book where he describes a great day with his mom being when she got in a fight with someone in a movie theater because they told his nieces to be quiet and got them all kicked out was just strange. I’m assuming they were good to be quiet because they were being obnoxious, so her getting in a fight like that just sounds unhinged. I feel like there was some set up for a second book with a couple of the side characters and I am almost more interested in that story than this one, although I did enjoy this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for providing me access to this eARC for my honest opinion!

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is the second published book by Livy Hart, and of course the second one that I get to read by this wonderful author. She was a discovery for me with her debut novel and I’ve been on the look-out for new stories by her since I liked her first book so much. I’m so glad that it’s a repeat of the same feeling with this second book!
I was hesitant at first because the story involved strangers-to-lovers and sometimes the case with this trope is that the love is sometimes so instant that it kills the vibe, at least for me. But, this wasn’t the case. Truth is that the main characters meet for the first time and are appreciative of each other at first glance and while they build their relationship it starts to feel like more in a little amount of time. However, it was done well by the author and paired well with the characters’ personalities and what they were experiencing in their lives at the time.
Another important aspect of the story is how likable were the characters and that was crucial for the book since most of the scenes are centered around both of them only and don’t involve other secondary characters. Although the truth is that some of the core moments of the book involved important secondary characters and not so important ones, which was also a nice addition. Apart from that, of course there’s the romance aspect which was paired well with the smut and the right amount of heartwarming moments right at the perfect time.
And with that being said, I’m going to need more books coming in so I really hope everybody appreciates this author as much as she deserves!

I really enjoyed this book! I liked the premise that these two individuals were thrown together in a series of Murphy's Law-esque situations one right after the other and found a way to fall in love despite it. Was it a bit far-fetched? Sure. But it was a delightful romantic comedy full of a lot of witty banter and a lot of swoonworthy romance.
The only thing I didn't like, and this is something that I feel happens in romance in general, is this idea that you'd even broach the subject of love a week into a relationship, even if you'd just spent every waking moment with each other. It seemed rush for real life, but I can see why it was necessary to speed that bit of it up for the sake of the plot.
Overall, I had fun and it was an enjoyable read. Lots of really great characters (and some not great ones), but for me it was a solid book.

I loved this romance, but all their mishaps gave me anxiety. I know it was supposed to be funny, but I legit was getting hives.
I loved how their relationship organically progressed from strangers to friends to more. Their travel woes were enough to test the strongest of relationships, but these two just kept rolling with the punches and keeping their eyes on the prize - home.
These two were polar opposites, but so appreciated the differences in each other and were so supportive. The lack of blaming, even in the worst of circumstances, was so impressive.
And when these travel companions finally gave into their attraction, WOWZA, it was steamy. The sizzle almost makes up for the worst road trip ever!
Totally recommend this one.

Yes, you get all the feels reading Livy Hart!
If you have ever had a trip where you thing everything goes wrong, you have nothing on Cassidy Bliss and Luke Carlisle. Their plane is forced to land when the windshield cracked and everybody is stranded in Missouri with no cars left to rent. Luke has rented the last car and asks Cassidy if she wants to go with him to California.
Luke is mister by the book as an actuary and Cassidy is a choreographer/dancer and they are so opposite but you slowly get to realize that they balance each other out. Plus I loved when they take a while to realize that there might be something to their falling in love when they are so different.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The book started with promise, but then the characters devolved into selfishness. At the end I couldn't find much to redeem the male protagonist. I felt the female protagonist deserved better. The plot dragged in places in the last half of the book which didn't help matters.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for this earc.
Ummmm no. I guess I’m officially not a Livy Hart fan. And I’ll tell you why.
This whole book happened within two days. That should be your first warning.
Cassidy was super judgmental for no reason when Luke took her parking spot just because was dressed nicely? Seriously? But I would have let it go. If it didn’t get worse.
This book tried to be cute. But then the sec scenes in the middle? Felt soooooo out of place and just didn’t feel right. But again. Could have just ignored it.
But the moment these two start throwing “I love you”s after knowing each other for 48 hours?????? That’s where I lost it.
When Cassidy kept saying that Luke broke her heart????? Girl, you barely know the guy.
And let’s not forget family drama. For Cassidy, she shouldn’t have waited till her sister’s wedding to talk to her mother.
And for Luke, I completely and totally understand how hard addictions are. But his mother was literally killing herself. He should have gotten her help wayyy before this.
Overall, just no.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is a dual POV romcom that follows two characters trying to get across the U.S. but facing barriers every step of the way.
Cassidy is rushing to California for her sisters wedding. As the maid of honor, she’s got things to do in order to help her sister have her dream wedding. Luke is traveling to get to his mother and sister.
From the minute Cassidy hits the airport parking garage, Luke is in her path. First, he steals her parking spot. Then he’s seated by her on the plane…a plane that is diverted mid flight for safety issues. Stranded in a small town and needing to get to California, Cassidy and Luke agree to share a rental car. A series of misadventures follow (by the title, you may guess the rental car doesn’t quite work out!). As they travel across the country there is some back and forth between these two completely opposite people: breakthroughs followed by breakdowns. The build between them is very slow. I was a little frustrated with them and their lack of actual communication paired with relying heavily on assumptions about each other. I wasn’t disappointed in the end though.
This is an easy read but I wouldn’t say there are a lot of surprises. The succession of events was a little exhausting (maybe that’s a personal thing since my travel always seems to have the most unimaginable barriers come up and I’m sensitive to that!). Overall this was an enjoyable quick getaway from everyday life.
Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is available everywhere 5/23/23.
*I received a copy of Planes, Trains, and All the Feels from Entangled Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

I received this book through NetGalley as an ARC and while I am so glad that I got a chance to read it, I am bummed that this is only Hart’s 2nd novel. I am so ready for a back catalog from her. This was a touching story about two people who are both finding their way apart from their family’s, and their own, expectations.
In their road trip across the country which includes, you guessed it, a plane right, a car trip, a train ride, and then another car trip, Cass and Luke fall hard for each other, the physical attraction is very much there but so is the emotional attachment. Cass and Luke both worry that they aren’t good enough for each other, but in fact their strengths complement each other's weaknesses. Cassidy has learned that she can’t please her mother, while Luke is still learning he can’t save everyone but they are both still struggling to be themselves apart from their families. This is a novel in which family plays a huge role, which I appreciate because I think it is very realistic.
This book had many of the things I love most about romance novels: cheeky best friends, supportive siblings, and travel. It also had vulnerable MCs who were willing to allow themselves to grow. And spicy scenes and the image of James Dean (well at least for me - Luke in jeans and a white t-shirt??). There were tears, not just from the characters, which means it hit me in the feels and I can’t ask for more than that in a romance novel.
If you have travel planned for this summer, grab this book; any delays you experience won’t be quite as bad as what Luke and Cass had to deal with.

Cassidy and Luke's lives changed when they met in the Charlotte airport. After Luke stole Cassidy's parking spot, they ended up on the same plane to California and decided to take a road trip together when their journey was unexpectedly halted. Despite their initial differences, Cassidy's sunny disposition and Luke's grumpy demeanor created a captivating dynamic. As they spent more time together, feelings developed between them,
I did struggle some with Cassidy and the rapid progression of their relationship. Although I enjoyed their journey and the charming tropes of their story, the quick shift from enemies to lovers and compressed timeline left me longing for a slower, more organic romance.
Overall, the book provided a fun and cute road trip rom-com experience. However, as the story approached its conclusion, the pacing and flow faltered, and the sudden culmination of heavy topics felt abrupt. The book's pacing and progression could be what other readers are looking for, it just felt off for me. Despite its flaws, the delightful blend of tropes, witty banter and the promise of an enjoyable reading experience for many.

This book is such a fun road trip/forced proximity romance. It was giving all of the romcom vibes, it was perfectly sculpted so just when you think it couldn’t possibly get any worse for our love interests *bam* more chaos inevitably ensues. I could absolutely see this as an adaptation that Molly Ringwald would have starred in in the 80’s and I think that’s the highest complement a person can give.
