Total opposites attract, these two really don't belong together. Ford is headed back home and of course Tessa is there. They're not really fond of each other but they are??? This is part of an interconnected series, I liked the other characters showing up in this one. Although it was really hard to connect with Ford, it was nice to see his slow growth and feelings for Tessa grow. I liked it, but Ford's character was really hard to like.

Another Fresh, Page turning unputdownable read from Jennifer Probst. Every Reader is going to love and enjoy reading it.

A Five Star Read and Highly Recommend it to all readers.

Fake dating trope is one of my favourite and I got this book for this reason.

Ford wasn't a memorable character. If you asked me anything about him, I found him a little immature and sapid,I wouldn't be able to tell you a thing. He just seemed like white noise while Tessa was just so much ithe lead in the story.

Poor chemistry and tepid banter…

I would've initially given the book 1 star, but Uncle Bart was a very interesting character through and through. Hell, despite him appearing only a few times, he made a stronger impact on me than the MMC.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

4 star

The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Meant to Be (Twist of Fate #1)
So It Goes (Twist of Fate #2)

This is Tessa and Ford’s story. Tessa needs Ford’s help. They strike a deal. His help with sports and her help in fixing him up so he can get his dream woman. But while they spend time together, he is falling but not for his woman but for Tessa. Can he build a future with someone so different them him/? What about the woman he has trying to win over? Can he figure it out before he loses the one, he really wants?

I recommend this story.

3.5 stars for me because "Save the Best for Last" is a slightly boring story for people who haven't read the previous stories from this series. It feels like there's nothing fresh about the story and it's relying on an existing fictional universe to make Tessa and Ford more interesting than they are in this particular book. The book universe does seem to be quite cute, so it might make sense to read the other books in the series first. I wasn't able to invest in Tessa and Ford's story but I hope you can!

I would like to thank the author and publishers for giving me access to an advance copy for my honest review.

A great romance! Jennifer Probst delivered a romance story that kept me captivated from the first page to the last.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

I didn't read this book because it is part of a series, which should be noted.
I have requested the other books from this author, and look forward to catching up when able.
Thanks!

While the title is save the best for last this is not my favorite of the three books. Its a enemies to lovers meets fake date that feels a bit too insta for me. It also had a lot of mind games (common in the real world for sure) but also makes you feel the characters are immature. I will say if you get sucked into the begining then the book will land better for yyou but for me it was a drag. I also didnt feel the energy between the two until the very end.

"Save the Best for Last" is the third book of Jennifer Probst Twist of Fate series and tells the story of Tessa and Ford.

"Save the Best for Last" was my first book by Jennifer Probst and will unfortunately be my last for the time being.

Tessa and Ford's story could not convince me at all. I found Tessa absolutely unsympathetic. And my dislike for her grew with every page. She thinks she is someone better and is very judgmental. Ford, unfortunately, I also do not like so much, but more than Tessa.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC.

A pleasant read as always ba Probst with warm and charming characters, if a bit predictable. A good summer read.

❤️❤️❤️❤️ out of 5
JP never disappoints with contemporary romances, especially when she links her series by strong female relationships- whether they be family or friendship. This series was no different- this book is the last in the trilogy but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. Also did I mention that this book is a reverse makeover- where the hero gets a makeover!!!!

Our heroine runs a media company with her friends and she is the fashion how to girl. She has been stuck in a rut for weeks giving makeover after makeover to women who only want a makeover to win a guy. She then has a brilliant idea- give a makeover to a guy instead, although what she wasn’t expecting was to start falling for this guy when he is trying to win someone else.

Now I won’t lie- I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the hero getting a makeover to win someone who wasn’t the heroine, but of course I should have trusted JP because she never steers me wrong. The budding romance between hero and heroine is slow going but it’s definitely worth it! This book is sweet with definitely a bit of spice and just leaves you with a warm hug.

Tessa Harper holds the position of beauty and fashion director at Quench, a successful company dedicated to women's self-care. She manages the business alongside her three closest friends. Although Tessa and Ford frequently interact due to their shared social circle, they don't get along well. However, Ford realizes that Tessa could assist him in pursuing the woman he's interested in. Despite their initial discord, they develop a comfortable rapport and enjoy sharing their interests. The outcome of their relationship, however, is unexpected for both of them.

This book portrays a story of two individuals transitioning from frenemies to lovers, and I thoroughly enjoy the characters of Tessa and Ford. Tessa showcases her talent and ambition, while Ford exhibits passion in his work, though he sometimes comes across as naive. Overall, it's an engaging read for me.

Save the Best for Last is book #3 in the Twist of Fate series. It's full of sparks and plenty of snark between Tessa and Ford. I loved watching these two figure out that they really didn't hate each other. It was for sure a slow burn with all the feels. An enjoyable read.

Tessa and Ford have never gotten along. Tessa is the queen of makeovers while Ford is all about sports. When Tessa’s company decides they need to incorporate sports into their magazine, she seeks out Ford’s help. And Ford could use Tessa’s help in return to get the girl of his dreams. Along the way the two become close, forcing Ford to reevaluate just who his dream girl might be.

This was a fun, fast read. A cute and steamy enemies to friends to lovers. Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for the egalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Tessa and Ford. Tessa runs with her friends a media company. For is a sports announcer on the radio. They do not like each other, they see each at their friends’ house. Ford needs Tessa to change his image, so she helps him. They both find out more about each other and fall in love.

Save the Best for Last is a satisfying conclusion to the series. This one centers on Tessa, the last of the Quench founders to find love. It had a lot of She's All That vibes to it and it was a fun book to read that combines makeovers and sports. I liked the characters but also I wasnt as drawn to them as I was to the stories of Chiara and Malia. This may be a spoiler a bit but I wish they hadnt spent so much time on the other woman and it took forever for him to finally make the realization of what he wanted. I ended up feeling bad for everyone involved. But this book is saved by the dogs and getting to hear about what happened to the other characters, particularly Mike and Emma.

I ended up listening to this on audible. I had to finish it in the way I read the other 2 books.
Sometimes the makeover just adjusts the surface and covers up who the person really is. To get what you really want you need to be authentically yourself.
Who knew that your so called enemy could become the one you want.
I loved the story progression and how the love came to be.

This story has a good premise. I love fake dating relationships where they start off kot really liking each other but then the feelings develop between them. Ford asks Tessa to give Hime a makeover and pretend to be with him to win over a woman he works with that he thinks he's in love with.

The one thing I couldn't get past is that Tessa was treated badly by Ford when he spent time intimately with her and then decided to explore things with the woman he claimed he was in love with that he worked with. He played around with Tessa and then when he realizes he really wants Tessa and not the woman he works with that he thought he was in love with it's actually Tessa that goes to him and tries to win him over. This makes her look desperate and she should have made fors work to win her back not the other way around.

Tessa is the third owner of Quest, along with friends Chiara and Malia. [Their stories are told in the first two books in the series.] Ford is a sports announcer witih a show on a local radio station and one of their gang, best friends with Chiara's husband. He and Tess have never really gotten along., not really friends though not quite enemies either He's looking to date one of his co-workers Patricia, and works a deal with Tess to upgrade his image -- she's known to help readers change to attract the person they really want. -- in exhange for helping Tess and Quest add a sports angle to their company. Maybe they can help each other out. But the problem is...once they get working on each other's problems, they start to see there is more than meets the eye.

I highly recommend that the books be read in order, although they each have a conclusion. Then all the relationships with all the extra characters -- Mike, Emma, and Rory -- make sense.

Tessa and Ford - brought together by circumstance of sorts, not really friends though not quite enemies either. These two certainly don't see eye to eye but maybe they can help each other out. Problem is...once they get working on each other's problems, they start to see there is more than meets the eye. Can they see past their differences and find a future together? This was a great read!
