This is an enemies to lovers trope romance that hits all the right spots. Tessa's friends and business partners are married to Ford's friends, so they have to see each other once in awhile. There is always snarky comments flying between the two. They start spending time together after they strike a bargain to help each other out. Soon the sparks that have been flying between them turn into a different type, but Ford's makeover by Tessa has been to win over the woman he has loved forever. What is happening?

Him teaching her about all things sports was priceless. I loved the slow appreciation for each other that grew between the two and the heat that slowly developed. Ford is a really good guy. This book broke my heart at one point. Could they just go ahead and get together already!

This is the last of the series and I have to say I hate to see the characters go.

Thanks to Valentine PR and NetGalley for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

I started this book before publish date and intended to finish it by that date, but it was really slow moving for me in the beginning. The middle picked up (thank goodness) and the end went almost too quickly.

Tessa is a self-made (with friends) woman. She is part of a media empire for women and is very independent. Ford is a radio sports caster who is a very stereotypical male. Through some bartering, Tessa helps Ford "win" the woman of his dreams, in return, Tessa gets Ford's sports help for work.

I rated this book 3-stars because I very much enjoyed the middle. The story was predictable, but I knew that going in. I would have preferred the ending to dive more into them realizing their fate.

Thank you to Jennifer Probst, Montlake and NetGalley for allowing me to read this great eBook.

Enemies to lovers for Tessa and Ford. Thrown together as their best friends get together, they disliked each other from the start. Will this change as they help each other get what they think they want? A great read. I liked how it is told from both points of view.

Save the Best for Last by Jennifer Probst, is the third book in the Twist of Fate series and is a story that was hilarious for me. Tessa Harper owns, together with her best friends, what we would call a media empire, she is in charge of a column that helps the chosen reader with a change of image and direction, but she is at a point in her life wanting more. Ford Maddox, works in the radio and is a well-known sports commentator, his best friends are the couples of Tessa's best friends and they have never gotten along very well. But when Tessa, looking for a new direction in her career, is presented with the opportunity of a sports section, she sees the need to look for Ford to help her, and that is where they reach an agreement, he will help her as long as she does. Help him with a change of image and direction so he can conquer a co-worker who he swears is the love of his life. From here this story is full of crazy moments, tender moments and a few tangles.

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation Received from NetGalley and Valentine PR, 4.5 stars

Save the Best for Last is book 3 in the Twist of Fate series by Jennifer Probst and what a great series! This is the final book…or is it?

Tessa Harper and Ford Maddox can’t keep from arguing every time they are in the same room together until they need each others help. Tessa needs to transform Ford so he can win the girl of his dreams and Tessa needs Ford’s help to bring sports to her online readers.

What happens next is unexpected feelings, be your own person, makeover, enemies to lovers, family, friendships, fate and finding the HEA you didn’t see coming…

This was read was ok, it wasn’t my favourite by this author but it still had moments that were enjoyable. Tessa the MFC was a bit much and actually a bit annoying, she seemed mean and a bit snobbish. Ford just seemed to be too slow paced and maybe too nice for Tessa. But as I read along I started liking the two, the banter between them was great and I enjoyed how they got to know each other first and they took their time figuring out they where perfect for each other. Like I said not my favourite but I did enjoy it in the end.

I need my H to grovel after they act like big jerks but alas we see none of that here and make no mistake the h deserved better.
Ford has a childish crush on a coworker so he decides he needs a makeover to win her.
Tessa is a makeover queen and decides to help him even when they font get along despite running in the same friend group and sharing and godchild.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Save the Best for Last is the final book in the Twist of Fate series by Jennifer Probst. The Twist of Fate series follows three best friends, Chiara, Malia, and Tessa.
Meant to Be is Chiara Kennedy
So it Goes is Malia Evergreen
Save the Best for Last is Tessa Harper

Tessa is the Director of Beauty and Fashion for Quench. She drives a bright yellow Alpha Romeo 4C Spyder and is a meddler. Tessa's specialty is matchmaking and meddling in relationships, bringing two lonely people together or showing a woman how to get the man she wants. She has a beautiful big heart but is sometimes misguided by her thoughtfulness and wanting everyone to have someone special in their lives. Since they're all friends and work together, they know each other very well, so much so that friends of friends know each other well and are often thrown into each other's company. It's no surprise that Ford Maddox, best friend of Sebastian Ryder, Chiara Kennedy's husband. Chiara and Sebastian have a daughter. Veronica. Malia and Tessa are the godmothers, while Ford is the godfather for Ronnie. Ford and Tessa have a frienemies relationship. While babysitting one night, Ford and Tessa find themselves trying to care for a teething Veronica, and that is when they notice that the other isn't at all what they perceive. They devise a plan to help each other out, and that is when the enemies turn into lovers.

This book feels like it was a formula or scripted; the whole series has felt that way. While I'm a massive fan of Jennifer Probst, this series isn't the best. I don't know if that is because of her publisher, but her writing and other series are much better.

Save the Best for Last was an okay read for me. Although I love enemies to lovers (it's one of my favorite tropes), I had a hard time getting into this story and I didn't connect with either Ford or Tessa.

Although it wasn't my cup of tea, others might love it and Jennifer Probst is a wonderful writer.

Thanks to Montlake and NetGalley for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tessa and Ford were very likeable characters, even if they don't like each other. But that changes quickly and the story moved along at a good pace, the characters were well developed, the chemistry was easy to feel and the ending was very satisfying.,

Save The Best For Last is the story of two people who have known each other for a while but never saw each other for they really are. They have the chance to get to know each other for real and discover that sometimes the one person who fits you perfectly was right in front of you all along.

Tessa works with her best friends at the company they started. She is hardworking and very successful. She has always loved giving people makeovers and writing about them for their magazine, but she is starting to question if she wants to continue doing them. Ford loves his job at the radio station talking about sports. He loves sports! Unfortunately, he also thinks he's in love with one of his coworkers even though she's never given him any indication that she is interested in him that way. Ford asks Tessa to give him a makeover so he can get Patricia to fall in him. Normally, this is where hilarity would ensue, but the author chose instead to make this a serious makeover about two people learning about each other and themselves. There is a little side story about Mike and Emma figuring out that they want to date each other and finally giving it a try. I enjoyed those moments in the story because the author showed clearly how Tessa is part of a bigger universe and how she impacts the people around her. Tessa's uncle and his best friends were a great addition to the story. Their love for each other was a good way to show all the sides of Tessa. Ford's makeover was fun. I like that the author showed him as successful but also still in a holding pattern when trying to get into a relationship. I like that Ford needed new clothes, new hair and a new apartment because it showed that he was truly stuck in a rut. This story has no bad guy. This is a story about two adults finally opening their eyes to what was right in front of them.

There was something in this story that kept me from completely loving it. The whole time I struggled to completely connect with the characters, their situations and the overall flow. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it was but I never found myself fully engaged. I think in a few months I will have forgotten about this book so I can’t give it 5 stars.

This is a contemporary romance with a lot of sports talk. This is part of a series but I read it without having read the other books. I think that author is a good writer and I will read more from this author in the future.

I loved this! I haven’t read any of the others in the series and I can safely say it can be read as a standalone.

Tessa Harper and her friends run a successful business called Quench. Tessa is focused on making woman love themselves more with the help of some beauty and clothing tips. She has noticed that the women always want to change themselves for a man which is starting to cause her some dissatisfaction.

The opportunity arrives for her to flip this when Ford, the best friend of her friends husband, asks for her help. Tessa and Ford have a mutual dislike of each other and are complete opposites, barely able to be in the same room together. When Quench decide to branch out into sports, Tessa and Ford come to a mutual arrangement that he will help her with the sports segment and she will give him and his life a makeover to help win the love of his life.

This story had great characters and what felt like a natural building plot line. I could easily put myself in the place of any of the characters. I enjoyed the strength, passion and determination that Tessa showed. She also has loyalty and compassion for those in her life. I also liked Ford who showed a lot of the same traits but appeared a bit softer round the edges. I loved Uncle Bart and all of his companions and thought this was a nice side story.

I have just got the others in the series as I enjoyed this one so much.

Thanks to #NetGalley and Montlake for the opportunity to read and review.

SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST is the third and (final?) instalment in Jennifer Probst’s contemporary, adult TWIST OF FATE erotic, romance series focusing on three friends (Chiara, Malia, Tessa) who own Quench, an online magazine that focuses on self-care for women. This is makeover specialist Tessa Harper, and sports journalist/radio broadcaster Ford Maddox’s storyline. SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Tessa and Ford) SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST follows the frenemies to lovers relationship between makeover specialist Tessa Harper, and sports journalist/radio broadcaster Ford Maddox. Tessa and Ford are co-godparents to Malia and Palmer’s daughter Veronica (SO IT GOES #2) but our couple struggle to remain civil in one another’s presence. One night together, babysitting Veronica, ends with Ford asking for Tessa’s help, and Tessa demanding a favor in return. Ford has fallen in love with a co-worker, a co-worker who sees Ford as only a friend, and with Tessa’s help, Ford is hoping to woo the woman towards a happily ever after but Ford never expected to fall for our story line heroine, a woman who may have more in common than he could have ever expected. Tessa Harper wants nothing to do with transforming Ford Maddox, but Quench is hoping to attract a new audience, and Ford may be the person for the job. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between Ford and Tessa, and the fall-out when Ford’s make-over is more successful than Tessa could have imagined.

Tessa Harper has watched from the sidelines as her friends and business partners fell in love, and Tessa wanted her own happily ever after but there were no potential love matches on the horizon, as everyone she met eventually disappeared. Ford Maddox liked his life but wanted something more. Having fallen in love with Patricia, two years before, Ford knew he needed help, opting to admit defeat when having to ask Tessa for help.

Meanwhile café owner and their former business partner Roni’s father Mike is struggling in his attempts to ask out high school teacher Emma Primm. Mike’s lack of competence is heightened when Mike suspects Emma is seeing someone else. Hoping for a love match, Tessa, Malia and Chiara set a plan into motion to help Mike with his dating conundrum.

The relationship between Ford and Tessa is a frenemies to lovers. There is no explanation as to the how or why of their tempestuous rapport but sometimes people just don’t get along. Tessa struggles with Ford’s lack of finesse and sophistication, and Ford only has eyes for a woman who may be out of his league. As Tessa works her magic with Ford, our couple find themselves pulled into the aura that is attractions and lust. The $ex scenes are intimate and energetic without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters are colorful and familiar. We are reintroduced to Tessa’s business partners: Malia and Palmer, Chiara and Sebastian, cafe owner Mike, and high school teacher Emma Primm, as well as Ford’s co-worker Patricia, and Tessa’s uncles Bart, Vincent and Dom.

SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST is a story of family, friendships, and relationships; animosity and acceptance, attraction and love. The premise is amusing and pleasant; the characters are sassy, dynamic and animated although Tessa’s snobbish attitude was a little off-putting; the romance was seductive and sensual.

I think Tessa and Ford's story is a decent one. I enjoyed it. But it did kind of feel weird because I didn't think they should be together but also once they are in each other's space, it felt right. I felt kind of in limbo, like should I like them together or not. I don't know, even now.

I've read all three of the books in this series, I'm a huge Jennifer Probst fan, and I will seriously say this book was my favorite!

Tessa and Ford are definitely the two least likely people in the group to fall for each other. This enemy to lovers story had me laughing at the situations and characters as they navigate through this newfound truce they find themselves in. Absolutely loved Uncle Bart and crew, seriously hysterical moments with that bunch, and got a kick out of Tessa's first taste of sports at Ford's place. Definitely need to read this book, it's well worth the read!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

I enjoyed this book and the slow burn between Ford and Tessa have friends in common but find each other annoying. She and he friends decide to add sports to their repertoire so she calls on Ford to help (her attitude towards sports irritated me at times) and he asked for her assistance in winning the heart of Patricia (who he felt was the one).
I liked how they slowly got to know each other and ended up helping each other, just not in they way they thought they wanted. I also liked the underlying message that you shouldn’t have to change who you are in order to get people to like you. His behavior at times was confusing but didn’t deter me from enjoying the book.
I have enjoyed this series and this book was a good addition. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was sweet, fun, steamy and kept me reading. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.

This was a fun, slow burn for sure. I wasn't so sure about it in the beginning, skimmed more than a few pages that I didn't even feel like I missed anything from the main part of the story, and by the ending I was loving it. The banter between Tessa and Ford was great. Just waiting on them to get out of their own way was excruciating. Sometimes love is found when we least expect it.

Thank you, NetGalley, for this eARC.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Save the Best for Last is Jennifer Probst's third book from the Twist of Fate series. It is an enemies to lovers romance between two people that have worked very hard to achieve success in their respective careers.

Tessa Harper and her two best friends are the founders of Quench, an online magazine and podcast series for women. The company is doing quite well and now they are expanding into women's sports. Although Tessa is the beauty and makeover editor, she seeks more challenges in her career. As a result, and a bit reluctantly, it is now her job to spearhead the sports venture. She teams up with Ford Maddox, a successful sportscaster to learn about women in sports. Tessa has known Ford for years and they share godparent duties to one of Tessa's best friends. Ford had always been a thorn in Tessa's side, however, working side-by-side brings them much closer together.

I liked this book and I enjoyed the relationships between all the characters. Tessa and her business partners have quite a support system, both professionally and personally. The author evolves the relationship between Tessa and Ford with understanding, some quarreling, and a bit of steam. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

I have enjoyed many books written by Jennifer Probst. This one that has such a great message about being ourselves and loving someone for who they are. I love the friendships and family aspect of this series. Ford and Tessa had quite the dance as enemies to lovers. This was a slow burn that at times I wasn't sure I wanted it to happen. Ford had his moments of shallowness and Tessa was the hardest for me to like this series. But I'm glad I kept reading since we get a great HEA.

Thank you NetGalley and Montlake for the ARC of this book. This is my voluntary and honest review.
