It's been a while since I read a Jennifer Probst book and I'm sorry that I haven't read her books in a minute. I honestly forgot how much I enjoyed her books. They have such vivid characters that draw you in and make you root for the couples, I couldn't put Save the Best For Last down I was so into it. When I started the book right off the bat I got vibes of the classic 2010 rom com featuring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel, Life as We Know It, two godparents who DO NOT get along are forced to raise their godchild together her being uptight and him laid back. Luckily Tessa and Ford did not have to raise their cute goddaughter together and Chiara and Ryder survived the book, as I hadn't read books one and two of this series I didn't realize they were a previous couple and therefore by romance novel laws cannot die.
The start of Tessa and Ford's relationship begins as many rom com romances, a makeover. But what I liked about Tessa's makeovers through out the book, including Fords' is that she never is just superficial. Yes she gives them a haircut, tips on makeup, renovation of their home and clothes but she also makes them realize that they shouldn't be getting this makeover for anyone other than themselves. She also wants them to realize that they need confidence in themselves. So for Ford he says he wants this makeover so he can finally get out the friends zone of the love of his life, Patricia, but Tessa sees right through it. She knows that Patricia is never going to really love Ford for who he is but whoever he portrays himself to be through the makeover.
What I loved most about this book is how Tessa and Ford slowly fell in love with one another despite all their bickering and fighting all the while trying to get him a date with another woman. I loved that Tessa was a strong female lead that didn't want to compromise one what she wants from a life partner. But through out the book Tessa starts to see that maybe she wants something different from her life partner...

I really enjoy these ladies. I have read the first two books in this series and enjoy getting to know the ladies of Quench. Save the Best for Last is Tessa’s story. Her turn to find her prince charming and her happy ever after.

This is a story of enemies to friends, of high school mind games, and of true love. It is the story of how you can change the outside of a person but it what is inside is what really counts. I did not love that Ford was chasing a woman who clearly was only after the chase and power when Tessa, the perfect woman for him, was right next to him but that was the story.

Save the Best for Last is an easy book to read. From the beginning the reader should know how the story will turn out. I loved catching up with the other characters from the first two books in the series and seeing how their relationships were going. Mike and Emma are two of my favorites and I love that they are true secondary characters in all the books so far but seem to shine through at all the best times.

The Twist of Fate series does not have to be read in an order. Each book is its own complete story.

Two people with absolutely no feelings for each other other than loathing come together when Ford decides he needs to get one of Tessa's famous makeovers to win the woman he loves or lusts for. Tessa and Ford are godparents to the same little girl, so getting along would be in everyone's best interests, but it's hard. Especially when this little experiment finds them with some very unwelcome feelings for each other. I mat be in a slump, but I found this one a little too predictable and found myself not very invested in finishing it. However, please do not take opinion as gospel, it may definitely appeal to most fans of these tropes!

Another winner for Jennifer Probst. Ford and Tessa are a very unlikely pair. She is CEO of a company dealing with women’s issues and what they can do to make someone love them. Ford is a sports person who is a slob but knows all about sports and Tessa wants help starting a podcast about women’s sports. Ford thinks he is in love with another woman and Tessa agrees to give him a makeover to help him get the girl he likes for teaching Tessa about sports. It is a forced proximity as they must spend a lot of time together and finally realizing their HEA. A very enjoyable read.

Save the Best for Last was a great end to this series. The enemies to loves trope has always been a favorite of mine and this was no different. The characters had chemistry, the humor was laugh out loud at times, and romance was everything I love from a Probst story. I think this was my favorite of the three.

Tessa is a woman who shares her knowledge of personal care and style on social media and has quite the following. She is finding that her followers are looking for fitness advice which is not her forte but it becomes a niche she wants to fill. The one person she knows who could assist is also the man who infuriates her but an agreement where they both get what they want seems like the perfect solution.

Sports has always played an important part in Ford’s life, so he is the perfect man to coach Tessa for her followers however he wants something in return. He is been attracted to a co-worker and believes that Tessa’s guidance when it comes to style is what he needs to garner her interest however the more time he spends with Tessa the more he wonders if his heart belongs to the one he is making himself over for or the one who is making him over.

I enjoyed seeing the sparks of animosity between Tessa and Ford turn into chemistry as they realized they didn’t know each other at all. This is a story about finding love where you least expect it that is filled with humorous moments, heartwarming emotion, and romance.

I have enjoyed the previous books in this series, but I just couldn't get into this one. I gave it a good go, but I just didn't enjoy the FMC and MMC so it was a DNF.

4 When the Plan Goes Awry Stars!!

I’ve loved both of the previous books in this series so much and this last book which is Tessa’s story is no different. This woman is so strong, intelligent and meets every challenge head on. Imagine her surprise when the annoying best friend of her bestie’s husband shows up the same night she’s babysitting. This is the beginning of an agreement they make to help each other. Let’s just say it’s truly like oil and water coming together!

I loved how these two interacted with each other. They were both getting something out of their agreement even with all their flippant conversations… I was truly giggling at some of their verbal repartees! What was apparent to me was that underneath all their snarkiness was a growing attraction to each other that neither wanted to acknowledge. But that can only go on for so long.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this book. It wraps up this series beautifully with all the characters I’ve come to love in the previous two books, bringing in some new characters and a story that is pure perfection. I laughed, I cried and I swooned and when I turned the last page, I had a huge smile on my face!

This may have been my favorite of the 3 Twist of Fate stories so indeed saving the best for last. While I know that Tessa was more than the surface she allowed others to see (because you saw bits and pieces of her heart in the first two books), she truly begins to shine here. I'm not sure why she had so much disdain for Ford because honestly, he intrigued me a lot. But in any case, you strike a fake dating scheme and soon things will go sideways. I didn't get his obsession with Patricia because even he couldn't really tell others what it was about her that he so wanted (for 2 years really?), but in any case, he got the girl. Mike may be one of my favorite characters and I loved his grand gesture :)

A simple chick-lit which made me believe in destiny's plan. The plotline completely hooked me with this book.

Tessa - She's a wonderful woman who works as a Director for a million dollar company. It was amazing to meet this independent and workaholic woman who knows how to be friendly as well as charming. Trust me from the way she took care of her Goddaughter I was secretly expecting her to be mom soon. This woman stole my heart.

Ford - Sports was his life. He was not grumpy with anyone expect Tessa. I'm loved how well he fought to take care of his goddaughter with Tessa. I didn't expect him to change himself for a woman but then I'm glad he found someone who would love him for being himself.

Not to forget the two dogs who made a grand appearance and celebrated their birthday.

Highly recommend to everyone who want to read a feel good story

Thank you for giving me this ARC @netgalley and @authorjenniferprobst I had a great time reading this extraordinary story filled with amazing tropes and silent tropes like friendship, attraction and lots of love

Tessa Harper is so busy helping other people look great so they can land that ‘special’ someone that she put her own life on hold for others. Quench, the company she and her friends started a few years ago is launching a new ‘sports’ podcast for women and female athletes.
Ford Maddox, sportscaster extraordinaire, needed a makeover if anyone did. He is great in the sports world but he is a complete klutz trying to land the woman he ‘loves.’ He has missed several opportunities trying to get Patricia, the love of his life to notice him.
Mortal enemies Tessa and Ford join forces to help each other. He will help her with the podcast and she will help him with Patricia. It’s an uphill battle for both of them but when they both finally get with the program, sparks start to fly…
Love the book! Highly recommended… I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Enemies to lovers trope.
Set against the backdrop of sports.
Not my favorite topics, sports, but Probst doesn’t go overboard with it.
I did wonder if Tessa and Ford would ever get together.
The ending was really good and a classic scene, for a book with lots of sports.

4 Stars!
Tessa Harper is a glamorous, fierce, confident, independent woman in New York who knows her worth. She's a workaholic who owns and runs a successful media company with her two best friends Chiara and Malia. Quench is focused on self care for women, and Tessa's main role is director of beauty and fashion where she writes a popular column and is known as the makeover queen. Lately her job and dating life are a bit boring. She craved a challenge and some excitement. Then they mix things up at Quench when they decide to make sports a part of their regular lineup. It's the one area they haven't tackled yet, and they could use some help, so they approach well known sportscaster, Ford Maddox. Tessa shares mutual friends with Ford, but they've never gotten along. They clash at every turn, and prefer to avoid one another. Now she would have to take one for the team, and work with the annoying man.

Ford Maddox had a sports morning show where he got paid to talk about his favorite thing. Sports had been his passion since he was little, and he was lucky to get to work in the world he loved. When he's asked to help out Quench with sports, he strikes a mutually beneficial deal. He will give his expertise in everything sports if Tessa gives him a full makeover. She seems to have the magic touch, and he needs some help getting his beautiful co-worker to finally see him as more than a friend. While Tessa is transforming him into boyfriend material, things start to shift between them. He enjoys sparring with her and these unexpected feelings weren't part of his plan. Everything turns complicated when he's suddenly not sure who the woman of his dreams actually is. When he decides to fight for love which direction will his heart take him?

Save the Best for Last by Jennifer Probst is the third book in the Twist of Fate series. It's an enemies to lovers romance about friendship and unexpected connections. It's full of fabulous banter, humor, passion, emotion, love and amazing chemistry. I've really enjoyed this series and hope we get more books! <333

A celebration of life, love and family that sticks to the heart. The Twist of Fate series is a delightful tale of sisterhood, sorrow and romance. Probst tugs at emotions at every turn. From new beginnings to missed opportunities and surprise twists, Chiara, Malia and Tessa turn heartbreak into heartwarming with a little temptation on the side.

This is a new to me author. This is the third and final book in the Twist of Fate series.

Tessa is a self made corporate power house. She and two of her besties started a magazine from the ground up and turned it into a multimillion dollar business. Her newest project is to work sports reporting into the mix. She starts working with Ford, a best bud of one of her friends husbands. He is a famous talk radio sports guy! They have never gotten along.

They strike a deal - Tessa will make Ford over (her specialty) in exchange for his help with the sports podcast. Ford has had his eyes on a coworkers for two years and wants to win her over.

As expected they fall for one another. Tessa ends up loving sports and Ford learns he can get the girl that is right for him.

I do wish I read the first two books first. There is a lot of back story I think I missed, but it overall could be a stand alone.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for me honest review. These are my own thoughts and opinions.

4 Star review of Save The Best For Last (Twist of Fate #3) by Jennifer Probst
Tessa Harrper is one of the co owners of Quench and is known as the make over queen. It is the third and I believe final book in the Twist of Fate series. I enjoy enemies to friends stories and found this to be an entertaining read and a good addiction to the series.

Between Tessa and Ford Maddox the sparks fly and their relationship is fiery. When Tessa agrees to help sportscaster Ford with a makeover neither of them expect what occurs. It was entertaining to watch the push and pull dynamic as their relationship progressed.
I really liked Tessa, she is a strong, driven and successful woman and I admired her determination to succeed. I fell for Ford, there was something about him that I was drawn too.

Save The Best For Last was an entertaining read that ticked a number of boxes for me. I received a copy if this book from the publisher through Netgalley.

Another amazing story by Jennifer that will give you all the feels, while also delivering a message in only the way she can through her words! 5 amazing stars for this one!
Tessa has watched as her friends have found their forever, and she's yearning to find her own. She's the makeover queen, why can't she seem to find her own?
When the girls at Quench take on a new front for woman, sports, of course they look to Tessa to handle this part, and when they recommend Ford to help her out, she's not happy at all. He's the complete opposite of a refined man that she would normally seek out, but it's for work, she can do this.
Ford isn't thrilled about working with her either, he's thinks she's a snob, and all about herself, but he suggests he will help her, if she helps him land the woman he's in love with but she doesn't think of him as more than a friend. Tessa agrees thinking how hard could this really be?
I enjoyed this story so much, I definitely recommend it especially if you love Jennifer's books! Love doesn't always come easy, it's not always in the prettiest packaging, but when it finds you, it's so worth the wait! Don't miss out on this one!

What an incredible read. Jennifer Probst’s books are filled with love, compassion and so much more. Three friends who are more like sisters. A “father” to all of them, Mike. And the introduction to Uncle Bart and his friends. These characters made this story one you could not put down. Every page kept you glued to every word until the final word.
Tessa is helping Ford win Patricia’s heart. To Ford, Patricia is the one. It has been two years and he is finally ready to make her his. With Tessa’s help of course. Tessa and Ford aren’t exactly fond of each other. His impression of her is that she is a designer wearing snob. But the more time he spends with her he finds that he could not have been more wrong. She is so different than the women he usually is attracted to. He realizes that she is a woman who makes things fun, will go out of her way for anyone who needs help, and she is unpredictable. He is so focused on Patricia that he is ignoring what he is starting to feel for Tessa. Tessa, too, is starting to feel things for Ford she never expected. She is so different with him. She shows him a side of herself few if anyone ever sees. She still loves her designer clothes but now she will occasionally be caught wearing a Mets t-shirt, ball cap and other sports team wear she never thought she would ever wear. Spending time with Ford watching baseball, yelling at the television screen when their team wins and especially when they lose. She pays attention to everything he is trying to teach her about sports. Something she never had any desire to learn about.
Sometimes in life we don’t see what is right in front of us. Ford was so focused on Patricia and a love for her he thought he felt, and refused to see the actual real love he developed for Tessa. Tessa accepted him for the man he is he never had to pretend to be someone else. For Patricia he was changing because that is what he thought she would like about him, but in truth it wasn’t the real him.
But will he settle for a love he thinks he has for Patricia or finally admit to a real love for Tessa and realize she, Tessa is the woman for him. Sometimes we have to open our eyes to what is right in front of us.

This is the last of the Twist of Fate series that is a modern take on the Pygmalion/My Fair Lady story. Tessa and Ford are in the same circle of friends but irritate each other. When Tessa needs help launching a sports area of her Company’s media division, she makes a deal with Ford that if he helps her, she will help him catch the eye of his coworker, Patricia. Ford has had the worst crush on Patricia for two years, but he has been friend zoned. Tessa helps him with a makeover, and also helps him by fake dating to make Patricia jealous, but both of their plans go awry when they start to catch feelings for each other. I really like Tessa, but Ford did drive me a bit crazy. So Ford has become obsessed with Patricia, and is convinced if he just gets a chance with each her, she will want to spend the rest of their lives together. He doesn’t really know her, but is “in love” with her. This is a very adolescent view of love. His relationship with Tessa develops slowly, and is based on actual mutual respect and friendship but he is willing to give that up for his unrealistic fantasy. This was a nice ending to this series. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
