I've had such a complicated relationship with this series. On one hand, I have loved the concept and tropes and plotlines for all three books. On the other, I have been disappointed with the execution. I don't know if its me and I go into these books expecting something, but get something else, but it's been a tough journey with this series.

In 'Save the Best for Last', I loved so much about the way the story was set up, the enemies to lovers vibe between Ford and Tessa. I enjoyed watching them spar and irritate the other, I liked the tension and the chemistry between them too. The first thing that didn't work for me was how they went from disliking each other to falling in love. I didn't think the journey from point A to B was enough. But that's probably a 'me' thing, because I often struggle with that switch in an enemies to lovers.

However, the thing that really made me upset about this book was Ford's decisions and choices. The flip-flopping in his feelings for this other woman and then giving Tessa up for her and then vice-versa. I liked Ford just fine up to that point, but once he made those terrible choices and the way he handled it, I lost all affection for him. I definitely didn't want Tessa to give him a chance, it felt like he didn't deserve her love or her attention anymore.

As for people hating on Tessa, I think she's so relatable and I can see why she's considered 'unlikeable', but I think any of us in that situation would make the same choices.

I just wish I could forgive Ford for the way he was, because I was not impressed.

Save the Best for Last is the 3rd book in the Twist of Fate series featuring three friends who've built a successful company together. The last to meet her match is Tessa, who's slightly jaded when it comes to relationships but secretly longs for the closeness her friends have found. When thrown together with Ford - best friend to her besties's husband and so very much part of the tight-knit friends group - who's always rubbed her the wrong way, sparks fly and kindle a flame. I enjoyed their banter and how through their interactions, they both learned and grew. I wished there had been more about Tessa's past and I couldn't get on board with Ford's behaviour towards Tessa while persuing another woman, but the story kept me well entertained. And they did manage to find their way to a sweet and moving HEA, so all's well that ends well!

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. I have previously read and enjoyed some of the books written by Jennifer Probst. This is the third book from "Twist of Fate" series which can be read as a standalone. The story is written in third person POV while alternating with Ford (MMC) who is fun loving, popular sports caster who is a 'Nice Guy' & Tessa Harper's(FMC) who works as a director of beauty and fashion for Quench, a multimillion-dollar empire that focuses on self-care for women. She runs the company with her three best friends. This a Frenemies-to-Lovers trope which I liked alot. I would recommend this book to the fans of the film "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days".

A great addition to this series, which can be read as a stand-alone. On the surface they can’t get along but as they need to put that aside and work together, love comes to the fore. Tessa needs to learn about sports and that’s where Ford can help, it’s his area of expertise, and Ford wants her expertise in giving him a makeover to capture Patricia’s heart. Time spent together though gives them both questions about each other and finally the right couple wins each others heart. A truly enjoyable book in this series.

I'm usually a fan of the enemies to lovers trope but I just couldn't get behind Tessa and Ford because I didn't like either one of them. She runs a makeover company with her friends and he's a sportswriter, She's high maintenance, he's just, I don't know. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Sorry but this was a DNF for me.

What a fabulous series this is. Each book in the series grabs at you and sucks you into the characters and their path to true love.
Scott and Tessa are frenemies, definitely abrasive as evidenced by their inability to spend any time together.  Yet when Tessa is forced to approach Scott as the sports expert, she finds that she was definitely selling him short.  He has a lot more depth under the surface than she imagined especially in how he looks at women in sports and elevating their status in the public.
As it turns out, Scott has an ask as well. He has secretly fantasized over one of the women who works with him, but she continues to friend zone him. He asks Tessa for her expertise in making him over into the perfect boyfriend. Scott does become the perfect boyfriend, but will his goals still remain the same when the dust settles, and he gets what he aims for.
The story flows as the two characters get under the surface and biblical despite their continued protests. Can this end in a happy ending since they've always had different goals? A great read that I highly recommend.

Ford has been wanting to get out of the friend zone with Patricia for two years, Tessa needs someone to help her launch the sports podcast/column for her company. They both have the skills to help the other with a quid pro quo. Tessa gives Ford a makeover and pretends to date him so that Patricia will start to see him as desirable. He helps Tessa learn about sports and get the new podcast off the ground. Through all of this a slow relationship is build between the two who used to loathe each other. This book had such great promise and there were lots of really good parts to it, but I really didn't like that we were over 75% through the book before either started to have any type of feelings for each other. I also don't want to give any spoilers, but I wasn't thrilled with the way Ford was laser focused on Patricia, ignoring anything he might be feeling for Tessa. All of that drops this by one star for me. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy.

An enemies to lovers with a rocky start! Tessa and Ford are not friends in any way shape or form, but Ford finds himself needing Tess’s help and the more time spent together starts to reveal that they might have more in common then they thought!

The start of the book for me was a little slow and I really did not like Ford at the start but as the book progressed he really grew on me and I just absolutely loved the ending! The way they worked it all out, was just too cute!

Save the Best for Last is the third book in the Twist of Fate series. I didn’t know this to begin with so I was a little confused by the opening chapter but this book can be read as a standalone. In this enemies to lovers/fake dating book, one woman (Tessa) tries to help a man (Ford) catch his dream girl that he has wanted for 2+ years. She helps him makeover his whole life from looks to home decor. She fake dates him in order to up his status with his dream girl. While spending so much time together they start to realize they could make a relationship work. After Ford goes back and forth between Tessa and Patricia (dream girl), he begins to realize that everything he’s ever wanted is right in front of him. He sees that love shouldn’t be a burden but a gift and who he loves should love him for him and not some made up version.
Thank you to NetGalley, Montlake and Jennifer Probst for allowing me to read and review this book.

Tessa is a make over queen of self care media empire. To make sure her readers are happy, she needs to work with a men, and this is a men, she doesn't really like, but have to tolerate, Ford.
Both of them have to work together, share opinions . During that time they learn about themself and each other, than they ever thought they will.
Enjoyed storyline.

Can changing yourself for someone else make for a happy ending? Tessa has built her career on that premise but will it backfire and lose the love of her life? Enemies to best friends and then some. Bring out the beer an popcorn and enjoy baseball fans and lover of dogs

Usually spending time together is the only way to truly get to know someone. I love the makeover aspect of this book as well. Tessa and Ford were a good match for each other. Patricia did not have the qualities at all that he was looking for in someone else. I was glad that Tessa went back to her other matches and found out that her success rate wasn't as successful as she thought.

This is the 3rd book of Twisted of Fate series, it can be read as stand alone. My first in this series and this book is good.
Tessa really know what she is doing, she give makeover and advice, whit her experience, she already know what will happend to a relationship. Frod approach her for help. They are not close, sometime bickering, tollerate each other because their bestfriend married. Frod want to get his dream girl (Patricia) and get out of friendzone, Tessa reject it and blunt said that girl not ready. Ford over opportunity that get Tessa attention and finally agree to help him.

Ford was so sweet, he is a nice guy who cant be jerk and being aggresif to get woman attention. With Tessa point of view he learn something (i learn too! Lol). Tessa slowly like Ford because of his effort, she not except to like Ford but when they spend time together she see Ford in diferent way.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

Thank you to Net Galley for the advanced copy of this book. This is the third in the Twist of Fate series. It addresses the final lady in the Quench business partnership. I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, and this last book wraps up the series nicely. The main female character Tessa comes across on the outside like a totally confident in charge person. However, like so many people when you get past the outer layer there are insecurities on the inside. Ford, the main male character also appears on the outside to exude confidence, however he too has his insecurities. It is a great read to see how these two confident stubborn people who originally dislike each other find common ground and move towards a better relationship. I also again enjoyed the back story of Emma and Mike plus reading about the previous characters in the past books and the progression of their romances. All in all this was a great story and worth the read.

I was looking forward to this slow burn story since I started this series. It seemed like it would be the perfect enemies to lovers book. Ford's obsession with Patricia was a bit excessive and it seems a little hard to believe that someone who is described like him would have such a difficult time finding a woman. For as smart as he is, he could not see the flags about Patricia? The story is cute, the chemistry is mild. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but all in all it was a good read.

Enemies to Lovers Trope. Ford and Tessa have never really liked each other, but they've had to tolerate each other. They are co-godparents and are thrown together one night babysitting. They end up realizing that they need each other's help. Tessa needs Ford's sports expertise for her business and Ford needs Tessa's help making him over to get the girl of his dreams, Patricia. I enjoyed the slow burn between the two and the spicy moments. There was a fair amount of angst. The parts that I didn't really enjoy were the parts with Uncle Bart. He seemed to be way too over the top with the dogs for my taste. Ultimately, this story had all of the parts that I enjoy in a romance. I give this book 3.75 stars.

This is the final book in the series and I do think the best was saved for last. Tessa is an independent woman who owns her own company with her friends. Ford is a sports radio show host and is best friends with the husband of one of Tessa’s best friends. This is a great enemies to lovers. Ford is in love with his co-worker and Tessa helps him catch her attention by “making him over”. As they get to know each other better, they start developing feelings that neither want to act on. This was an enjoyable story and end to the series.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Bravo to this author whose story tugged at all the heart strings. Ford is in love with Patricia and asks Tessa for help in getting Patricia to fall for him. Ford and Tessa have a love hate relationship and only stand each other because they are godparents to Veronica and have the same friends.’

As Tessa helps Ford they both realize the other isn’t that bad but has Ford invested too much time in capturing the wrong persons heart? Is it too late to change course now?
4.5 stars
