"Save the Best for Last" by Jennifer Probst was a home run! I loved the latest installment in this series. It was the perfect mash up of all my favorite romance novel tropes. If you love enemies to lovers, fake dating and opposites attract you will love this book. Just like the other 2 books in the series this was full of heart and friendship. Tessa and Ford were adorable and spunky and this was the perfect ending to the series. Jennifer Probst always brings her characters to life and her books have just the right amount of heat. I also ADORED Tessas Uncle and his Sidekicks, it was a fun element in this story and would have loved even more of them and their antics. Thank you to Net Galley and Publishers for allowing me an ARC of "Save the Best for Last" by Jennifer Probst. I was eagerly awaiting this novel and it met all expectations.

Ford and Tessa were bomb and their chemistry was undoubtedly pretty explosive. All this push and pull, the angst and the banter made me sit on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t seem to have put it down.

As the title states the ending to this series did save the best for last, while the other books were great Tessa and Ford's story included not one HEA but two. Emma and Mike are my favorite older couple and their happiness tied in perfectly to this story. It was interesting to see how Tessa's makeovers had turned out and the statistics she found blew me away.

I would like to thank Net Galley and Montlake Publishing for allowing me to read this book as an ARC. I have read a few of Jennifer Probst's books before and have always enjoyed them. This is the third book in a series called Twist of Fate. I have not read the other 2 in this series, but was told that this book could be read as a standalone. It was okay as a standalone, but I think I would have enjoyed it more of I had read the first 2. There was some backstory and exposition, but it would have been better to have read the whole series in order. Tessa , with her 2 friends run a Company called Quench. It is a female centric company and each of the women run a certain portion of it. Tessa does makeovers and writes columns about them. When research shows that Quench should get into sports information as well , Tessa is forced to work with Ford, a friend of her friends husband, who is a sportswriter. Ford is interested in a woman at work , who has firmly put him in the friend zone. Ford helps Tessa with sports, Tessa gives Ford a makeover. And then Tessa and Ford start to have feelings for each other. That is basically it. There are several other small plotlines, and quite a few characters, but nothing to me was compelling. It was a cute plot and I enjoyed the addition of sports into a rom com type of book, but I did not find either the main characters all that likeable or interesting. It was an ok read.

I could not get into the book at all.

Ford is a man child who believes he is in love with his co-worker, despite harly ever talking to her. Tessa helps him to play mind games with his crush by pretending to date to make her jealous. Super childish for suppossed adults to act this way.

Ford eventually get his co-worker where he wants her, only to run to Tessa and sleep with her, only to then run back to the co-worker! Eventually he realises Tessa is the one for him, only SHE is the one who goes to him, begging him to take her back. Seriously?!

Very much not the story for me, I like both my male and female charcters to be strong, vulnerabilities are okay, but have a backbone!

Jennifer Probst always delivers a book that is endearing, easy to read, and hard to put down. Save The Best For Last does not disappoint. Loved it from the first page until the last. Highly recommend for an easy read you’ll stay up late to finish.

So this book is so hard for me to review. I love this author. She is a wonderful writer and I really have enjoyed this series up to this book. I also want to state I did not finish this story because of what the male lead in this book does, Ford. When he did what he did close to the end of the book I was so done with him. I felt it made him a huge jerk, unlikeable and definitely not a guy I could or would root for.

I liked Tessa much better and anyone would have been better than Ford who was a jerk and what I would call a manchild. I was just so angry where this story ended up going. I also was so disapointed with this author. I know not everyone likes everything authors do and they should have creative control and the ability to write and create storylines that they want. But I am sorry I HATED Ford and the choice he made. In my mind he betrayed Tessa and I felt the author betrayed me by having him make the choices he made near the end. I stopped reading because I was just so angry and upset.

I love the “Twist of Fate'' series by Jennifer Probst and she definitely saved the best couple for last. I love Ford and Tessa with their witty banter, scathing glances and the simmering chemistry that neither of them would admit to. Tessa is the queen of makeovers but working with Ford was above her pay grade. He was a sloppy dresser and acted like an overgrown fraternity brother who lived and breathed sports. Why in the world did she promise to turn him into the perfect man so he could have the woman of his dreams? Tessa had no choice, because she desperately needed his expertise with her new sports podcast.

Who knew that spending time together would be the beginning of a fun and educational friendship? Ford turned Tessa into a sports fan and got to know the woman behind the fancy clothes and snippy attitude. Tessa even introduced Ford to her favorite uncle who spends his retirement rescuing and caring for dogs in need. It was only a matter of time until Ford saw Tessa in a new light which just added to his confusion. He thought he knew who he wanted, but what if he was wrong? Should Ford follow his original plan or let his heart lead him to a happily ever after? The road to love is never easy and as Yogi Berra always said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

Found myself completely absorbed in all things Tessa and Ford! What a journey. Great romcom fake dating romance. I especially enjoyed the dog birthday party LOL this was an explosive slow burn!

I have really enjoyed reading this series , I always enjoy meeting recurring characters and returning to their stories. I've always found Jennifer Probst does this well.
I loved the back and forth banter between these two and the way they thought they were being clever around their two separate but very connected friends groups. It's always very sweet to see Mike and Emma pop up frequently too.
Overall I enjoyed how much these two got to know each other under the guise of changing and realising they didn't really need to change to be perfect for each other.

Book was a little immature. The games the characters played detracted from what could have been a good book. Left a little disappointed by a generally great author.

Tessa is a strong character with a heart of gold. She is confident and amazing. There is more to Tessa than meets the eye. She shows her true self again and again through her actions.
Ford needs a makeover to get the girl of his dreams. The one person that can help him is the one he can’t get along with.
As one riles the other, the true self comes out both physically and emotionally. Trust builds. One learns to value themselves and see their worth.

Tessa and Ford have entered a mutually beneficial agreement, he will help her with a sports podcast and she will help him makeover so that the woman he loves falls for him. They didn’t even like each other. But somehow during her the time they have spent together, they have grown closer, and snuck into each others hearts without them realizing. Now the question is will Ford give up his ideal love to take a chance on an opinionated, independent spitfire who’s turning his life—and his heart—upside down?
It’s an enemies to friends read, Tessa and Ford have known each other since some time now, what with their best friends married to each other and being co-godparents. And their frenemies status led to some fun and witty banter. I also enjoyed the process of their misconceptions getting proved wrong about each other and their journey from being enemies to realizing their feelings have changed.
Save the best for last is the third book in the series and can be read as standalone. I haven’t read the previous books and had no problem enjoying this book.

This is the 3rd book in this series and for me it was definitely Save the Best for Last. Tessa and Ford have had a contentious relationship and it's really being tested when they are both sent to babysit their mutual goddaughter. Tessa does make-overs for her company's magazine, Quench, which she owns with her two friends. Lately she's been feeling unsatisfied with trying to make-over women to be more confident to get the attention of someone they want to notice them. Ford has a crush on Patricia at work and thinks he's in love with her even though he doesn't know anything about her personally. Tessa and Ford end up having an agreement for her to make-over Ford to catch the attention of Patricia and get him a chance to date her, and he'll teach her about sports in order to start a sports podcast for Quench. Now that they are spending more time together, they are learning more about each other. Is Patricia really the one he wants? Will Tessa overcome her reluctance for a relationship and give Ford a chance? I really liked this book and I'm sorry that the series is ending. I received an early copy from Netgalley to read and review. I'm leaving my honest review.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved Tessa & Ford’s banter! I’m a big fan of Jennifer Probst’s work!
Tessa needs a sports expert for her new section in her & her friend’s successful magazine. Tessa is known for her articles on changing women to get the attention of a particular man’s interest.
Ford is a very popular sports analyst. He is best friend’s with Tessa’s best friends husband. Ford & Tessa clash. But now Tessa needs Ford’s help with her sports section & Ford needs help gaining the attention of his coworker that has put him in the friends zone. They start to spend a lot of time together & learn things from one another. But will Ford give Tessa a real chance or will he continue to go after his true love.

Jennifer Probst brings us back to the world of Quench. Readers are enjoying the articles Tessa brings to the self-care world they created. When they have to expand their topics to the world of sports, she is tasked to head up and find experts in the field to cohost the new podcast. Unfortunately, this means working with Ford, the popular sportscaster as well as uncle to her best friend's baby. This means that they have to put up with each other when they could never get along in the first place..

Ford needs Tessa's help in creating a new image for himself as he tries to win the heart of his dream girl. Tessa needs Ford's help in understanding the world of sports so that she is prepared for drawing in a new audience. As they start spending more time together, what could possibly happen? Will they both be successful in reaching their goals? Would they be able to get past the animosity and be able to work with each other long enough? Or will it all crash and burn and all gets lost?

Thank you to Net Galley for the Advance copy of this novel. I have read Jennifer Probst before and remember enjoying her writing style. This book was ok. The premise was interesting, however, the male love interest was really unattractive and I don't mean physically. He was super shallow and his motivation was childish. I had a hard time rooting for him at all. I kept waiting for him to grow and become a more interesting and deep character but it didn't happy. The female character was a strong woman with a great career and had her head on her shoulders. I had to suspend my belief to think she could possibly fall in love with this man-child.

The book had some enjoyable moments, but how the male love interest was portrayed was really hard to get over.

To be honest I struggled with this story as I didn’t find the characters very likeable, so it was hard to root for them and be interested in what happened to them. A very meh book

Tessa Harper and her friends own a highly successful women's magazine. Tessa specializes in makeovers where she helps women build their self esteem and go after what they really want in life. Tessa and Ford are the epitome of enemies to lovers you don't want to read about. Ford was so unlikeable it was unbelievable! I struggled to make it through this book because his character was so annoying.
